The kitten had been all the more aware of what they’d been told before - ‘always remember the way you came, as you want to be able to find your way back home’ - but unfortunately they never really decided they wanted to listen.
And now they were unfathomably lost. They hated how big the city was, despite how many times they were told, and how they’d been instructed tme and time again that they would get lost if they strayed too far.

Grumbling to themselves, they trudged along the stone pathways past quaint buildings. There were quite a few of them, acting as centerpieces toward the main staple of the city - an ever-sprawling library. Maybe one of the people there would be able to get them home--
As they got lost in thought, a boom of thunder crackled across the sky, and they scrambled to hide under something. It was moments later the rain began to pour down, and the kitten grumbled.
“Someone musta upset the stupid old Stormbringer storkie or somethin’.” They covered their nose with a paw, staring out from under where they’d ducked down to take shelter. For now, they guessed they’d just watch and wait until the rain passed to continue heading toward the Library.

They weren’t paying attention before a pair of eyes was staring directly at their own, and they gave a loud yelp. Their head slammed into the top of the dumpster they’d tucked themselves under, and they bit back a swear - better not tell anyone.
After a moment to collect themselves, they stared out ahead at what was in front of them. It appeared to be some sort of fox-like creature, but it was off - more uncanny, more akin to a puppet than an actual fox. It seemed to stare at them curiously, as if it were waiting for them to say something.
“U-Uhm.. Hi?” They stayed where they were, but they looked toward the creature. “C-Can you leave me alone? I’m waiting for the rain to pass before I go to the big building place..”
The fox creature gave an affirmative noise, before it suddenly ducked under to drag the kitten out and motion for them to follow it. The orange cat yelped as they were pulled out, but the creature in front of them seemed to fan out its tail to shelter the kitten. Begrudgingly, they began to follow it.
“Are you leading me to that library place?” They asked after a moment, and the fox simply gave a hum-like noise. The storkie sighed and decided maybe it wouldn’t be a good idea to try to have a conversation with this creature. As they walked, they noticed how it would deftly avoid puddles and gutter pipes - despite using its tail as an umbrella, which the orange kitten thought was a little peculiar. Did it just not like getting soaked? Kind of weird when they’re walking in the rain freely otherwise.. They shrugged to themselves as they walked along, growing ever closer to the pinnacle of the city.

And it felt like ages before they’d made it onto the steps of the Library. The fox creature seemed pleased, bumping its head into the orange kitten’s before darting inside.
“H-Hey, wait!” They scrambled after it, hearing the door shut behind them as if it were waiting for them to come inside. Soon they spotted it, standing next to a larger smoky tabby, before it looked toward them, seeming to smile, before it exploded into an array of sheets of paper. The sheets whisked themselves away toward an unknown book as the orange kitten stood there, a bit speechless. The smoky black tabby standing in front of them gave a tilt of his head.
“Oh, hello. Welcome to the Eternal Library. Do you need help?”

In lavender glade colony the paragon act as the gods. There are also minor gods that are not directly worshipped, but often do more of the rough groundwork compared to the paragons.

For Lavender Glade, Wednesdays are the day of worship. As long as there are no urgent matters, the day is taken off to honor the gods and each other. In the morning the storkies will meet in the temple of their god, the one who matches their magic type. Each god has a prophet who works as a leader to the group and to focus communication with the god. Since only solar strokes can actually act as prophets, they work alongside the actual group prophet. During the morning hours they are lead through different acts of worship until a brunch is shared and honored to their god. At this point the storkies will move to their second temple of the day. This is the god the storkies choose to worship. This can be for various reasons but typically because said god has a trait they admire or something they wish to work towards. The same prophet from before will lead any acts, but it is much looser. By evening time they will get together to cook a feast and enjoy other general festivities. Lavender glade believes that by honoring this day of worship, the gods will continue to bless them in any means possible.

The colony is also split into smaller sections based on gods. The temples are grouped together by these combinations. Order of the Orphic includes Life, Healing, Light, Solar, and Love. What many believe to be their opposite is Shattered Elysian containing Death, Blood, Shadow, Lunar, Astral, and Poison. Then comes Company of the Tacenda, a mix matched group with Bardic, Balance, Rune, Time, Trickster, and Arcane. Halcyon Utopia has Plant, Earth, Faunal, and Fungal. And finally the oldest grouping is Saudade Helm with Air, Fire, Water, Lightning, Ice, and Metal. These groupings are directly related to the jobs of the clan members and how they can best work with each other. This can tend to cause issues at points, but as the clan grows the stereotypes of each group begin to fade.

For lavender glade, the paragons show themselves through actions and smaller “messages”. There is no one who has ever met one, and such a thing is assumed to be truly a sign of the worst to come. However, this does not apply to the minor gods, hence why they do a lot of the “heavy lifting” of the gods. A storkie may never see a certain minor god, but see another one every Tuesday.

As the colony has grown to over 100 storkies, there has shown to be need for certain rituals and activities. When it was just a few, Liadian found no reason for such things. Everyone was much too focused on building up the land around them. But maybe with the introduction of the minor gods, that is something they will start working on…
