Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

The Mormont Equine Society is a recently founded group dedicated to the conservation and promotion of two closely related modern British breeds; the Mormont Pony and the Mormont Sport Horse. These two breeds find their origins in a number of European stock, with the intention to create versatile horses capable of outclassing their predecessors.

The Mormont Equine Society (MES) oversaw the creation of the Mormont Pony breed in the early 20th century and originally consisted of only a few hobbyist breeders. By the 1950's the MES became nationally recognised and numbers had grown exponentially as the developing two breeds garnered interest. The MES now holds a number of shows annually and keeps a record of all registered horses. More recently, they have also been given the responsibility of controlling feral Mormont populations through rehoming programs.

When Yahoo was in middle school, they were constantly browsing DeviantArt and MySpace, begging their parents to take them to Hot Topic to look at the latest fashion in scene culture, but Yahoo's parents were incredibly strict when it came to how they were allowed to dress and accessorize. As a way to escape from the nightmare of having to dress "respectfully" and conform to what their parents thought was right, they created Waffles! Waffles is a popular scene queen and Tumblr artist, most well known for their fanart for Invader Zim! She loves to rave and is a huge fan of Homestuck, Johnen Vasquez, n everything scene : D They work at a Spencer's and are super popular!! (Duh.) They were very inspired by a number of sparkledogs they found on DeviantArt, but they were also inspired by scene queens like Victoria Murder and Izzy Hilton. Waffles was exactly who Yahoo wanted to be, and had the same issue as Yahoo did, but wasn't afraid to be rebellious and stand out from the crowd which helped Yahoo come out of their shell once they finally lived on their own!
