The Mormont Equine Society is a recently founded group dedicated to the conservation and promotion of two closely related modern British breeds; the Mormont Pony and the Mormont Sport Horse. These two breeds find their origins in a number of European stock, with the intention to create versatile horses capable of outclassing their predecessors.

The Mormont Equine Society (MES) oversaw the creation of the Mormont Pony breed in the early 20th century and originally consisted of only a few hobbyist breeders. By the 1950's the MES became nationally recognized and numbers had grown exponentially as the developing two breeds garnered interest. The MES now holds a number of shows annually and keeps a record of all registered horses. More recently, they have also been given the responsibility of controlling feral Mormont populations through rehoming programs.

Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

Between the hustle and bustle and excitement from the summer event coming to town. It seems that a troublesome sibling duo of local kelpies have found themselves stuck in the Haunted Cave Maze! Do you dare to endure the chances of getting lost yourself, or do you risk it all for the siblings?

This will be a simple game of choice! There will be 3 options to choose from to help further advance yourself within the game. Make the right decision and you’ll be closer to the grand prize! Make the wrong decision and you may end up in a rocky situation yourself .. winner will be based on the most correct answers. If given the event of a tie there will be a resolution within reason at the end <3

Given there is only one grand prize, the kelpie have so graciously allowed us to gather gemstones along our rescue mission! Keep an eye out, you may find a certain special one along the way c;

The Lone Bashkir Curly horse is a very unique and set apart breed. They are well known for their curly coats, caused by many gene mutations, and their versatility. Lone Curly Horses are often found as chestnut, but have a wide variety of colors, some more rare than others. They range in height from 13-16 hands, but are often found between 14-15 hands. These horses are found wild in Nevada, USA. Although they are wild, they are also known for their calm and gentle nature. Lone Bashkir Curly Horses got their name due to them not staying in herds with other horses. Since they are always separated, they often wander far into owned land and cause disruptions. They have very much grown in population, causing problems and wreaking havoc, therefore creating the need for a relocation organization. The LBC Organization is running a rehoming program to protect these horses while still preserving them. If you're interested, keep an eye out for LBCs looking for a new place to call home!
