Meaning of name: Well, the colors pretty much inspired me to name him that, and the fact that he is a good singer but is shy, sort of like a robin.
Nickname: Rob

Favorite Color: Orange, red, and dark purple.
Personality: A natural singer at heart. He loves to sing ,and is inspired by other talented singers. He's awfully shy, even with people he'd like to know. He's a fast runner, and caring. However, he does know three other JBDs that he cares about, and if they were to get hurt, he would run over to them to help them. He's also a bit of a dancer, music in has body and soul. He wears headphones often, and his alone life is often spent dancing, singing or watching the sunset. He sometimes sees the prettiest things in the world that most people would not notice, like a butterfly emerging from it's cocoon and the moon passing through a silver cloud, making it glow. He loves art as well, but cannot draw to save his life. He has a fear of thorns, and does whatever he can to stay away from them.

this was really hard to judge XD there were so many brilliant entries! Im sorry the judging took so long, i had hoped to be able to judge during the holidays when i didn't have school work but that didn't happen, im really sorry for the waiting and thankyou for being so patient ^^

I saw Drizzle's latest adoptable and thought that the competition was a really good idea for people who couldnt affors the auctions or be quick enough for the sales, so this is a competition ^.^ all you have to do is fill out the form to the best of your ability (please no five minute entries) and at the end of a designated period of time, the best form will win this odd little wolf ^.^(Also, seeing as this is Bright is better, id like to see a little bit of colour on those forms ;D)

Story:
I wonder out of the cave to see if things have cleared up. I regret it as snow blows harshly in my face. I shiver. I walk back into the cave. I should have listened to my parents. Never should have run away. I try to huddle against th wall for warmth. I am almost out f food and water. The sticks I collected before the harsh blizzard are ash in the pitifull fire pit I tried to make. My water supplies is very low now, and most is frozen.
My vision starts to blur as tears run down my face as I remember what happened.

Then I run up to my room and grab a suit case. I stuffit with food and waterbottles. I climb down the tree that is outside of my window and run off. I run far away, to the mouintains a couple miles away. I take a breath and start to clim. I had gotten a couple days up then the blizzard hit.

So, you want to go back then? The wolf dear cocked his head.
"yes! I do!" failing to push back the wave of tears that start coming from my eyes.

"I am macki." I said climbing onto his back wrappin my arms around his neck. He take of running. I tense waiting to feel the rush of cold wet air. I wait. There is nothing. I opened my eyes to see the snow whirlling around us. My mouthfalls open. In a matter of minutes I am no longer in the mouintin and then at my house. I jump off of the frescor's back and run inside hugging my mom. her eyes are puffy and red like she had been crying.
"I am sorry! So sorry!" I say. She nods and hugs me tighter. I show her frescor and she goes up to him.
"thank you." she mutters and hugs frescor.

Ever since he has been our pets. When kids run away me and frescor help them find theirway back home.

Personality: Timid and shy around other creatures, hunting is one of his main pastimes. He is very clumsy, and has to be careful with his horns. He lives in a forest near a lake, which has a beaver dam near it. He is extremely nervous when near wolves, for he fears they will not accept him. He stutters when he talks to people. He can be fierce when others try to take his prey, clumsiness forgotten. He perfers forests, and loves the serene smell of pine and the crack of fallen bark and leaves on his paws. His favorite food is fish and his favorite pastime is swimming. He is part wolf, deer, otter, and bear. Personally he is extremely shy, but longs for a mate to make up for the ache in his heart from his parents. He knows he is too socially awkward to get to know someone, but he dreams on.
Why do you want this character?: He's a beauty and I love the point of this thread. Personally I don't have many characters right now and he would make a wonderful addition. The way he is designed is so perfect and I am biting my teeth all the time in hopes of getting him. A personality for him just struck me as I looked at him, and so I desire to have him. I love him to pieces. <3

Story: Creek sniffed the air, cautious of another moving creature nearby. He hid behind the reeds and growled. The otter whipped its head around, hissed, and leapt into the lake. Talon tentatively creapt from behind his shelter, stalking a heron. He took too loud a step and the heron flew off, gliding away on magnificent white wings. He sighed and turned his head toward the sky. Just barely morning, with a few golden drops of sunlight creeping in. A few years ago, his parents had left, as many wolf parents to their pups, but this time, it was to join a pack. A pack that hunted together, slept together, fought to protect one another, and were highly honourable. He had no desire himself, thinking hunting was better here, and wolves in a pack usually die from starvation. He also worried that they would not accept his mother, for she had horns like him. But they left anyway, thinking he would follow eventually.
He never did. The forest alone was better than a pack, for him. But he sorely missed his parents. But those memories are mist in the wind, after two years. Creek thought, and carried some new prey he had caught, back to his lonely den.

What does his coloring mean to you?: It reminds me of the beautiful rolling hills covered with golden dry grass that i live next to. I love the way it sort of relfects the look of waves when the wind blows through the grass and creates a rippling effect its quite beautiful

Q. Is her coat color black or a purple color? because in the pic she looks black but in the color palette you have a purple.

A. Her base color is a dark greyish purple ^^ she's not black. I think it's the shading that makes her look blackish in her pic but you can trust the color palette i have in the lower right hand corner. Those are the true colors i used to create her ^^.

Q. For her neck (the part of her we can't see) what does that look like?

A. For her neck part ill let you guys decide what you want that part to look like so you get to be creative in her design as well ^^

Q. May we add on to her personality?

A. Yes, but you have to keep the traits already specified, and what you add can not contradict the specified ones.

Drawing my own picture shortly~

History

In a small forest, to the east, where variety spread and birds of rainbow colors filled the air as beasts of many sizes roamed the earth. In a small cave under a beautiful blue waterfall a litter was born of only one pup. The father, LionHeart, was a tall orange canine with white paws and underbelly. His tail looked as if he had dipped it in brown paint and his left hind thigh had a brown handprint on it's toned muscles. His claws were long and he wore the tooth of a lion around his neck, LionHeart was one of the strongest male wolves in the forest and everyone on the brown churning land seemed to look up to him. His mother, Feather, was a small fea with a strange light blonde pelt, almost a very light yellow or maybe the color of butter. Her toes were snow white as were her ears and tail tip. She also had white wing-shaped markings adorning her back. She wore feather earrings, two on one ear and one on the other another three on a string and weaved into her tail. Her friends the birds gathered shiny things for her and they played together in the misty fields where no one else went where they could be alone and have all the fun they desired. Feather was the kindest female wolf in the forest, and all those who flew in the azure blue sky looked up to her.

One day the forest was plunged into darkness and an eternal night embraced the forest. On that night, Tenshi was born. Tenshi's name, "Angel", it's origin was written out on the fabric of time on that very night. The night the darkness spread and enveloped everything.

No one would've expected the pup of such bright an honorable parents to be so dark. When he was born, Tenshi was simply a pitch black pup. He had a long winding tail and gorgeous midnight black fur, that was all. His white eyes made all expect that he was blind, though he could see fine all in all. His near-sight was a bit off but besides that nothing was wrong with him.

A few weeks later, when Tenshi could stand on his own and wander outside the cave by the waterfall, taking drinks from the clear blue water and gazing at the moonlit sky. His father, LionHeart, approached her and said onto his young.
"My youngling, may ask of you one thing?"
Tenshi lowered his head to meet his father's gaze. Tearing his attention from the red moon of the eerie night, thin fog held itself in the air like false clouds and reality seemed to be in itself a dream.
The child responded, What is it father...? Is something wrong...?
LionHeart gazed at his child with proud eyes, though he did not yet have a name she was so lovely that even the blind bats adored him, his personality was so bright and cheerful that even the shy hedgehogs came to say "hello~". He was proud. Proud of the child born on the day the darkness covered the world....
May I ask, dear child, that you please stay here...? Your mother, Feather and I, are going to explore the outside world. To see what is causing this darkness so we may one day see the sun again.
The young pup looked at his father, tears welling up in his eyes.
B-but father! What'll I do while you're gone?! I'm still small, without any knowledge of the outside world! How will I watch over this place you have so fondly guarded all this time?!
LionHeart smiled faintly, placing a paw on the pup's head.
You'll be alright, young one, I have faith in you...
And with that he was gone, vanishing into the darkness of the night that Tenshi so loved...

A couple months later he had reached adolescence. He was fearless, though also shy and her wisdom helped everyone through the day. He walked alongside his fellow animals with pride in himself and all creatures of the night and day were fond of their leader and held the same faith her father had placed on his shoulders all those moons ago. On this night, he planned to venture beyond the falls. Until now he had stayed within a certain line of the falls, they were always in view so he could find her way home and more commonly than not his friends and followers came to him. That night, he went beyond the falls.

He followed the light of the stars, taking with him one faithful friend by the name of Cani. Cani was blessed with a beautiful blue patchy pelt and brown eyes adorned with several golden flecks. Her tail was long and her muzzle was skinny, she was a stealthy hunter and a beautiful canine. She had been Tenshi's best friend since his parents had left him so long ago... Tenshi at this point was known as 'Shadow' since he had never left his certain area before this night. Though, they all respected him and left him to his quiet dignity.

Cani had decided to come with her on the whim that they see the crystal caverns, a place rumored to be littered with several glowing white gems that lit the night like the stars that hung in the night sky like fireflies suspended in time. So off they went. On the way there they talked peacefully and enjoyed the lovely scenery.

Soon they reached their destination, upon arrival they walked inside and began to explore. Crystals much alike the stars, the rumors were true after all.

Thanks for taking me here, Shadow. I really mean this! Cani cheered happily as she examined the several glowing pieces. The momentary distraction turned Shadow's attention away from his current course and he tripped over a large crystal, stumbling forward into a hidden room previously invisible.

Hey! Look at this...! Shadow gasped, pointing to a crystal the size of his body that shone in many colors. An eerie feeling radiated from the stone... Wh-Oh my! Cani stumbled back, astonished by the gorgeous crystal. Shadow took a step forward, placing a paw on the mysterious object...

Suddenly the cave was ablaze with rainbow light and when the pair regained their senses Shadow's coat was painted with beautiful hues of blue and white.

Woah! Shadow, you're so handsome! Cani beamed, examining the gorgeous handiwork of the crystal.

Y-you think...? Shadow stuttered, a bit flustered at the odd sensation running through his body. Maybe now he had the power to protect everyone! The power he had secretly yearned for his entire life... He had always felt so worthless in his little cave. Now he finally had the power to stand up for his people!

Later that night, at the break of dawn, Shadow howled. Shadow howled and sung a lovely lullaby that hung in the air like the fog on the day her father had left, the notes were so vivid that even the meek creatures that burrowed within the earth came out of their burrows to hear the sweet tune. The tune that lured all to listen to it's succulent tune. An angelic lullaby.

And on that night,

a angel's tune floated through the air.

And on that night,

Tenshi,

became the fearless leader of the forest trapped in an eternal night...

I don't like to write,

Tenshi's a very serious person, though he can be quite the comedian. He likes to put other's first with unwavering generosity and will do anything in his power to protect someone else. He stands up for others rather than himself. He always strives to become stronger so he can guard those he cares about. He loves listening to music and role playing on the internet. He likes to hang around others and be in a crowd. Though he hates malls, due to all the confined spaces and he has an unnecessary fear of heights. He likes being outdoors but hates the bugs and poison ivy, as he has a bad habit of walking right into it. Such misfortune...

{Why the name Sorren?}
Sorren is the name of an old blue jay character of mine. This wolf reminds me a lot of her, so I decided to name her Sorren.

Solstice wolf {of the Summer/Winter variety}
{Appearance Description,Physical Traits, and Breed Description}
•Ruffled fur is made of long guard hairs which repel moisture.
•Woolly underfur provides insulation.
•Ears are large and slim. A Soilstice wolf's hearing is all most 17 times sharper than a gray wolf's. Which helps them hear above the screeching of the wind. They can hear their pack mates howl from over 16 kilometers away (9.9 miles), and can distinguish what their saying perfectly.
•It's nose, unlike most canines, is not usually wet. In fact, it's very dry. The less humidity of a Solstice wolves muzzle the healthier it is.
•Solstice wolves most acute sense is scent.
Solstice wolves have large paws. When born a Solstice Wolves pads are all ready hard as stone, and strangely enough they are also born with retractable claws. Their fleshy pads give them grip over rocky terrain, and they spread so the wolves won't sink in the deep snow and sand.
•Solstice wolves have a deadly bite. Their jaws can exert a pressure of 440 lbs, twice the crushing power of a full grown timber wolf.
•Like their closest cousins, the gray wolves, Solstice wolves live in packs with high levels of social orders. Their ranks usually consist of, (in order of dominance): Alphas, Heirs, Deputy, Elders, Generals, Warriors, Scouts, Queens, Pups,
Unfortunately, females are not allowed to be deputy, or warriors. They can only be scouts,alpha females, or queens when they mature.
•First elders, queens, heirs and pups eat. Then the alphas and deputy. Then the, generals, warriors and scouts.
•After a pup reaches 4 months, they must help care for the queens and elders. Heirs, sons and daughters of the alphas on the other hand, only participate in leadership, hunting and battle training. Pups are usually trained by warriors and scouts, while heirs are trained by generals.
•The sire and dam of a litter have the right to kill off the weakest pup.
•Alphas, deputies and generals are the only ranks who are permitted to have a mate. All females have breeding rights, only the top males have breeding rights. Males who don't have breeding rights are permitted to find a mate outside the pack. But it must strictly be for reproduction purposes, and they will not be permitted to tend to their mate when she's cubbed.
•Solstice wolves originally feasted mainly on the heavy drafts which had inhabited Mount Corona. But when White Blaze's herd left they soon began to prey on the smaller animals on the mountain, larger prey being scarce and hard to take down.

Approximately 4 years of age.

{Personality}
Sorren is ambitious as she is
collected. Although she appears mainly to be calm and reserved if one were
to peer inside her soul one would see her true nature.
Her deviating character alters from time to time, and she has a strange habit of talking to herself. Some say she has a split personality, some say she's just insane, but the truth is far more twisted than either hypothesis. Truth be told she's not alone in that body of hers. No, Sorren has just been so lonely for so long, she's created another soul to keep her company. She's not evil, or really physically or mentally bemused by her anima, but this 'other' soul does tend to affect her thoughts. She still dominates her actions and emotions, but she often consults the voice in her head about whether she should do this, or do that. It's a strange relationship, which could only be understood if you were one of the individuals in the partnership of soul and host.

Now, one may have assumed by the sinister nature of my writing style for the first paragraph of this personality that Sorren is a psychotic, demented female who is highly likely to chew your head off. If you have come to this assumption I am pleased to say you are entirely wrong. In fact, to the contrary I might say.
Sorren is an affectionate, comical character who is very demonstrative with her affection. She isn't exactly a chatter box but she does indulge in converse often with her consorts. In fact she seems to enjoy mingling with other females. She isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in, and is slightly naive in the manner she thinks anyone can change, no matter what their past is. Because of her beliefs she tends to assure in people too much and so usually loses friends due to the pressure. She is a strong and noble warrior who is loyal and cunning. She has staggering IQ of 174, and is very good at applying her current knowledge to new situations. She loves puzzles and brain games, but not as much as just basking in the sun. Even with so many positive traits, Sorren does have a more negative side. She's lazy and often neglectful of her conscious, putting the more important things as the latter.
She often procrastinates, which gets her into all sorts of trouble.

Her happy go lucky exterior is just a barrier though. Shielding you from the view of the pain and misery which jerks and twists inside her. Like a virus, her misery consumes her. She is still over all happy, but from time to time he'll be agitated and affronted for no apparent reason. Her peripheral is a mask of his intuitive thoughts and feelings which revolve around her unfulfilled past ambitions. A scarring reminder of her weaknesses. She is really dying inside, and her friends can only hope a new male in her life can change her true nature.

{Likes}
She's kinda outgoing sometimes, and is sort of considered a flirt. Though she prefers the company of handsome males to decent she will occasionally choose a decent male over a highly attractive one. She is okay with flirty males but prefers the more reserved ones seeing as she simply enjoys a challenge.

Her favourite food would have to be rabbits. Though she enjoys an occasional horse or deer, she prefers an deer or squirrel fruit to any native Solstice treat.

She loves people who are reserved and honest, as well as down to earth. She's okay with shy people, but is more compatible with the moderate type. Outgoing characters tend to out compete her personality and so she tends to avoid them.

She likes to do simply nothing sometimes. To just sit down in a calm meadow with a few friends, and just cloud watch for a bit.

Sorren, being the born leader she is loves to do what she does best. Lead others. Even with her rather poor social skills (she's friendly and cute by nature but just a tad socially awkward) she still has a very good course of persuasion and is highly ambitious.

{Dislikes}
She hates silence. She's endured it for too long, and has grown to associate laconism with loneliness. Feeling desolate is her worst fear. After what happened in the past, she's grown to appreciate the company of her friends far too long, and has even become a tad clingy to them.

Cocky people. She hates people who are over confident or picture themselves as the ideal leader type. Why? Probably because she is the leader type and hates the competition for dominance.

Sorren hates insincere people, she's not the best at identifying them, but she hates people who are openly dishonest.

She has a strange curiosity with water. Because she was confined to a cave most of his life she's had less time than others to explore and learn about textures, so it's only natural he has a slight fear of water.

She hates the taste and smell of yarrow (Achillea millefolium), a flowering plant meaning 'little feather' which is famous for it's strange healing abilities.

She hates spiders, and arachnids in general. They just...creep her out...
She can still touch them etc but she doesn't like to.

{How much I love her}
I had seen her in the previous contest she was entered in, and loved her at first sight.
I think she'd make a good character for my stories, and her design while being simple is elegant and charming. ^^
She's stolen by heart, and ever since I first saw her I knew I wanted her, so when I saw her up here
I became ecstatic and immediately starting working on this form<3

I still have kept them, and most of them have mates. Examples of this are:

Sante- Has a girlfriend, personality, has children
Terra- Has a mate, personality, stories
Yara- Has a mate, personality, history, has children

All of them have personalities and I have stories in mind for them. Some also have lots of art. I put this on my form
to show I take care of the haracters I got from you and that even after all these years I still do take care of them. :3
I never sold them, or traded them before during my time with them, and I love them very much.
