Equid's Personality: Firstly, Merlin is an extremely high energy little fellow. Though he is already five, and fully matured, he is still very energetic, almost like a foal. He's constantly into things and is very goal driven. He wants to live his life to the fullest, and wants to know about everything. Merlin is also extremely affectionate. He loves almost everyone he meets, and shows everyone the same amount of love.

Forgiving, he has no problem accepting apologies and moving on. He doesn't like to hold grudges, and hates it when others are upset with him. He'd rather forgive and forget, literally. And usually once he forgives another, he does forget, and it's like the situation never occurred. He has a natural enthusiasm for life in general. He loves everything, and is quite happy to bounce about. He doesn't see the negative side in life, and lives in his own little dream world of optimism.

But Merlin is a dependent little boy. He relies heavily on his friends to help give him support but also someone to lean on. He would never be a herd leader, but would work well as a type of advisor, as he comes up with many creative ideas. As well, Merlin has a roving imagination, to the point where many of his ideas are completely impractical. He comes up with the strangest of notions which are never plausible, and yet insists on doing them. This aside, he is very creative and though his ideas may not always work, they can be adapted. He lets himself think outside of the box.

Merlin's biggest problem is his sensitivity. He takes insults and jeers personally, and becomes deeply hurt when they are directed at him. When he is upset, he gets emotional. As well as being sensitive, Merlin is also naive to the world around him. He doesn't exactly get things, and lives in a perfect bubble of wonderfulness. He is also extremely unlucky, and always seems to get himself in trouble. If something can go wrong, it usually does, in Merlin's case.

Though he is so high energy, as he is maturing he's learning to calm down. He still bounces to conclusions very fast, but age has given him a few wise tips on how and when to control his energy. He is generally good hearted and loves those around him, and would never do anything to harm a soul.
Equid's Story: Ever since he was a foal, Merlin had looked up to Asfaloth as a brother. Like most equids, he was born with no siblings of his own. His own parents loved him, but he was always looking up to the yearling. Despite being a full year younger, Asfaloth was never one to rebuke Merlin, and Merlin loved him for that. His high energy often shunned most of the older equids, but Asfaloth took time to spend with the youngster. Such memories were never quick to leave his mind. [wip]

Story: I raced through the fields, giggling with the joy that free running always gave me. With giddy delight I rushed through the opening in the trees and was stopped completely. I couldn't even breathe for a few moments as the wide expanse of field and sky opened endlessly before me. Such beautiful moonlit beauty could never be surpassed! And yet...

Something was coming out of the firefly studded sky. Was it a shooting star..? Maybe it really was a firefly, or maybe... it was merely a moonbeam straying from her mother.

No... It was more wondrous than even this last possibility: it was her! It was my guide at long last come to stay by my side and teach me the ways of the world. I looked on with wonder glimmering in my eyes as such a small package came baring so much wisdom.

My mother told me she would come eventually, that I needed just to be patient. I wasn't patient, or really, I was paranoid about her coming. I thought that wisdom's approach would mean an end to all joy and freedom. I could not be more wrong.

Now Shymer stays by my side, or more often in my pocket, and helps me lead a life worth living, full of adventure! I have never regretted her coming to me. I shall cherish her forever. My dear, Shymer.

What Is a Piccolo Dragon?

A Piccolo Dragon, otherwise known as a PD, is a small and cuddly creature that loves attention and is a fun-loving animal. They hatch from small, spherical egg, about the size of a golf ball. Piccolo Dragons eat fish, any edible berry, apples, bananas, grapes, mangos, lettuce, carrots, leaves, and grass. They have natural and soft colors, though there are rare times when it has brighter patterns. They can grow to about the size of a large cat, but some don’t grow bigger than a weasel or ferret. Their fur is short, but sleek and soft, until you get to their tail tuft, which is long and fluffy. The adoption limit is four dragons, no more.

Inspired by the gorgeous extinct equine, the Quagga. Base coat is pretty much a sandy dun also.

Deadline 7th June.
Only ONE picture required per form.

Why you applied: Well I, like so many others want a WME. Her design beautiful, and doesn't have too much of details(which is good, because I'll probably draw her a lot if she should happen to become mine. Too many details might be bothersome then xP)
Inspiration of her name was partly because she's based of the Quagga, kinda made me think of the boss Quelaag from Dark souls.
Can't say I have much relation to the Quagga other than my love for equines, and that I did come across them when I was writing about horses for a schoolprodject.

This hardy little zeyama has a love of adventure and excitement, tending to stray off on his own rather than stay with a herd. Luckily for him his earthy tones and white patches allow him to blend in very well in the snow, keeping him safe from most predators.

Why you want it:
To be honest, I'm not quite sure. He calls to me, absolutely; he seems to beg for new adventures, new places to explore, which I am more than happy to provide. I have plenty of mountainous regions in my storylines, all of which he can explore at will.

Personality:
Curious. Le'Ton is a curious little fellow, which sometimes leads to some... unfortunate... situations, especially when they involve the foothills of the Southern Range, where large snakes and spiders make their home.
Shy. Though he has boundless energy, Le'Ton is a shy creature among his kin. He doesn't like to be with his own kind much, and, when he has to be around others, he puts on a mask of 'stupidity' just to get out of the situation.
Sprightly. Le'Ton has a ton of energy. This often causes him to stray far from the herd, simply because he can. However, this occasionally ends with him getting very... lost.
Excitable. Le'Ton gets excited over the smallest things. Insects, curious rocks, the prospect of exploration... he loves it, and it shows when he starts prancing about happily.

Info on Eggs
Yes, they do hatch. Eventually.
The process may take a week, maybe even longer. The normal time it takes for an egg to hatch is about 7 days.
Once the egg hatches, the newborn will come out of its shell. At this time, it takes them about a day or so to emerge. Once they emerge, they do not have wings. Instead, they grow them after a few days of emerging from the egg.

I fell in love with this design!

Personality: True to his name Glacier is rather cold. He can be very rude and is very rarely friendly.
History: No one really knows Glacier's story. He was rounded up by BLM less than a year ago. His owner turned out to be very abusive and he was taken back. No one wanted him again due to his rather cold personallity. He was sent to El Bug stables with hopes of some one adopting him from there. Bug took a liking to the little stud and now Glacier is a permanant resident here at El Bug Stables.
