Miyuki Suzu, her nickname being Yuki.

Meaning;;
Miyuki - A common Japanese name for a girl, meaning
"little snow".
Suzu - A partial of the surname "Suzuki", one of the
most common in Japan; "Suzu" means "bell".

What Miyuki treasures most is her heritage, which she spends most of her free time teaching to herself. Without her parents, she has no choice but to do it that way; all she has are the few traditions and stories she could remember her mother telling her when she was but a little girl.
The stories, as well as what traditions she does know, are all she has left of her mother. Partaking in these events, primarily in the Japanese fan dance, always manages to bring about the memories she can't bring herself to witness in any other instance.
As her heritage is her most treasured "value", her twin fans are her most valued items. They are a lighter blue, somewhat grey, like the sky in the dead of winter... Laced through with small silver flowers, gathered more in the top right and flowing down to the bottom left.

This girl is as cold as she looks; she has a heart of stone, with a frozen stare and a scathing tongue to match. She has no patience for anything she finds pointless, which actually happens to be most everything that does not include her favorite hobbies: dancing or flirting.
Yuki is a hopeless romantic, constantly flirting with any who she finds even remotely attractive, male or female; however, she has trust problems and primarily avoids deeper relationships, as she fully believes that they will lead to her getting hurt in one way or another. This fear usually leads to her being rather self-conscious in what few relationships she does manage to form, often becoming confused as to why that other Plume would even want to know someone such as her.
As distant as she is, Yuki also has a passion about one thing: traditional dance, specifically that of her heritage, a Japanese fan dance. Even if she knows so little about the culture, taking up the twin fans and moving about to any beat is somewhat freeing, always able to bring a smile to her lips.

The first few years of Miyuki's life were normal... She was born in Japan, her mother's home country; everything was wonderful. She can still remember the smell of the air and just the general vibe the capital city had held, always full of something new or strange or just some kind of adventure.
However... Everything within the city changed when Miyuki's mother suddenly passed of an unexpected illness. Now everything that had once held a sense of adventure now held the threat of danger, and the girl's father made the decision to move to New York in America.
Settling down in a new country was incredibly difficult for the young girl, especially since now she hardly ever saw her father as he put forth all of his time to his work, finding it too painful to remain in a house with his daughter, who looked so much like his late wife. Miyuki was left to her own devices more often than not; she couldn't bring herself to make friends, the fear that they would leave, in one way or another, preventing her from any such notion.
Eventually, her father grew completely distant from her; he was rarely home, always away on business, and missed every holiday and special event... To the point where the day Miyuki turned 18 and she finally left, he never really noticed.
Even though she left her father's house, she stayed within the city of New York; the various lights and feel of the city reminded her of her brief time with her mother, and Miyuki couldn't bring herself to fully leave. It wasn't long before she had found herself in the line of theater, able to dance to her heart's content.

The lights dimmed, and a huff of air escaped from the lips of the elegantly clad woman; a drawing of fabric behind her calmed her fraying nerves, everything slowly falling into place... A gentle beat started up somewhere, resonating through the air as a warmth at her back conveyed her cue.
The woman's arms began to move almost of their own accord, and then she was aware of only the beat of the music, her thrumming pulse, and the swirling fabrics of her less-than-traditional kimono. She twisted and turned, her fans rattling as she did her own spin on one of the most timeless Japanese traditions.
This is who she was.
She was Miyuki Suzu, and this is what she loved...
Dancing with her soul laid bare for this city to see.
She gave a final swirl, her fans panned out as a final note rang out through the stage; for the first time she noticed the crowd that had gathered, most of them standing to clap for her performance. She took a little bow before leaving the stage, a rather self-satisfied smirk in place.

As Miyuki was leaving, she bumped into another Plume; he had light tan fur, and he seemed to be talking to a creature that rested within a glass ball. She found it somewhat strange, however, a rather flirty smile soon took form.
"Well, you're a new face around here," she teased.
"Oh, I came in for a couple days while I wait for a... You're not interested in what I'm actually doing here, are you...?" He took note of the flirty expression on her face, glancing down at his aquatic assistant as he started feeling awkward.
Her flirty smirk turned into a full grin as she chuckled, ignoring his rather awkward expression as she hooked an arm around his shoulders.
"How about I show you around town...?"
