General Info

Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

Guardian Foxes are about the size of a full grown German Shepherd dog.
They have ears similar to those of a Fennec Fox, a species which
they are closely related to. They are given feathers, which are attached
to their tails, when they are born. Full grown Guardians typically have a
feather behind one or both of their ears.They are also born with a mist
surrounding their eyes, paws, and tails. This mist is used to capture a human's
dreams or nightmares.
Their soft coats can be any color or pattern. Pastel colors are most common,
they are often dual toned or even chimeric.

Spring has Sprung! Birds are chirping, rain is falling, butterflies flit about...and somebody has hidden colored eggs all over Cottonwood Wild Horse Ranch! Inside each egg contains the papers to a special horse adoptable from Cottonwood! Please come try to snatch an egg and take home one of these equines who are in need of a forever home!

Hey guys! I am currently juggling a bunch of stuff, but I am going to leave you all with this event to entertain you guys while I work through homework, projects, and my other to-do list for CWHR! ^^ I hope none of you mind!

This is an open event, meaning that anyone can take part and that any CWHR artist is welcome to make horses- just send me a PM titled "Easter Egg" with your egg color/pattern, description, and what kind of horse you'd like to do!

How this works: Over the course of the next two weeks, eggs will pop up from time to time around this field. Each will have different instructions on how to try to find them! You may only adopt one egg, but you can try out for a many as you like! Some may have slightly harder forms, but this usually means that the horse underneath is a rare color, has tack/more edits, etc. :3 There will be some easy ones as well, with beautiful horses of their own.

If you'd like, you can post any Easter/spring-themed art of any of your CWHR horses on this thread as well. Hope you enjoy the season, no matter what! :D Keep an eye out for appearing eggs- they could show up as early as tomorrow or as late as April 19th!

2 inches is about the tallest THs get. Shetland types are usually under 1 inch, though. Most types are around 1-1 ½", but Draft types tend to be on the taller side.

An overdue RU pallio for Sinister Smile! Apologies for making you wait so long.

This pallio is a small one, they're basically shorter than most pallios, despite being an adult. Notable features include elbow/ankle fluff, a short tail, and some small rounded ears. Their cape is a normal type.

personality: Hitsuji is a pretty laid back Iqena who hardly ever gets excited about much. He tends to be pretty lazy looking when he walks, but don't let that fool you, the dude can run. He is a kind soul who enjoys helping others in need, and he enjoys watching over shepherds and their flocks. He's neutral on a lot of things in life, and tends to avoid confrontations and arguments at all costs. He's pretty smart and often sits and ponders things as he watches over his domain, making sure no 'wolves' enter in. If he's pushed to the very edge, he's likely to blow, and is sent into a rage like state. However, it's a rare occurrence, so the likelihood of it happening is small.
Likes: warm sunny days, the smell of freshly cut grass, cuddles, taking naps in the sun, sweet things like honey
Dislikes: getting wet, a faint drizzle is fine, but not soaking wet, the smell of something burning, people who try to pressure him into doing something, whatever he sees as a 'wolf'

The 6-legged Beast

This pseudodragon is a very special one... He has tusks, love feathers that run down his back and tail, an intense gaze that only seems feral... and six legs.
He was really hard to tame him enough to be given out, but could you possibly be able to tame him more?
There is also a low growl from the cave we found him in, could there be another?*
