What is a deerbbit?

A deerbbit is a silent, but playful creature. Mostly a mix between deer and rabbits, they come in many colors and sizes. They enjoy herding in meadows and forests the most and feed on berries, leaves and other plants. Deerbbits have long and flexible legs and are able to run extremely quickly from predators, their huge, long ears provide amazing hearing abilities making this their dominant sense. They are also easly tamed which makes them great pets, though they find it hard to trust and will usualy only follow their true owner. Could it be you?

Guardian Foxes are about the size of a full grown German Shepherd dog.
They have ears similar to those of a Fennec Fox, a species which
they are closely related to. They are given feathers, which are attached
to their tails, when they are born. Full grown Guardians typically have a
feather behind one or both of their ears.They are also born with a mist
surrounding their eyes, paws, and tails. This mist is used to capture a human's
dreams or nightmares.
Their soft coats can be any color or pattern. Pastel colors are most common,
they are often dual toned or even chimeric.

The Solo Stag

[center] A solo stag lived in the woods. He loved to frolic on the meadow that was in the middle of the woods. A single stream ran through the middle of the meadow, turning into a rapid that could easily knock a Deerbit into its deathly waters. The single stag had no name, so everyone merely called him Frolic.

One day, Frolic skipped to the stream to take a sip of its refreshing water. Suddenly a bear roared as it plundered through the meadow towards Frolic. Frolic screamed and boosted to where the stream became a deathly river. His eyes were almost all white and he was feeling feint.

He backed up, cornered on a ledge over the river by the bear. Frolic reached the edge and his hooves scrabbled against the smith stone. The bear roared loudly and reared up. He slammed his paws down on the ledge and a crack appeared in front of its paws. The bear almost seemed to smirk as the ledge gave way.

Frolic tried to run on thin air as her plummeted into the raging river. He was tossed and thrown around in the water. A single ripple appeared on the surface of the deadly river. Slowly, it became stronger and threw itself over Frolic's back. Frolic gasped as he was dragged down.

Another ripple appeared under Frolic and pushed him to the surface. The waves tossed him on the bank of the river, somewhere in the woods. Frolic gasped for breath, silently thanking the river for saving his life. "Wow," Another Deerbit appeared, gasping as she saw Frolic. "You are so beaten!" She giggled when she realized Frolic was staring at her. "What's your name?" She asked him. "Ripple," The Deerbit replied. In honor of the ripple that saved my life. Only Ripple knew the real reason of his name.

"What's on your back?" The fawn asked. "First, tell me your name?" Ripple smiled. "No," The fawn was being secretive. Ripple turned and his eyes widened when he saw a strange blue mark where the ripple that had almost killed him had hit. "I have it because of a ripple that tried to kill me," Ripple declared. "Fine then," The fawn huffed, "don't tell me!" She snorted and trotted off into the woods.

Thank you river for saving me and giving me water when I am thirsty. Ripple silently thanked the river one last time before he got to his hooves and shook water out of his fur. A tiny minnow flew out of his antlers and he laughed. Ripple smiled, looking at his new blue mark. I will always remember how the river first tried to kill me, then saved my life. Ripple vowed this silent promise then trotted away into the woods.

A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.

Brando's most prized possession is a locket. The locket is the shape of a Circle and is about the size of a quarter. This is his most prized possession because it has a picture of his mother and father and younger sister in it, this is important to him because he lost his entire family when he was young and this is the only thing he has left of them. His family went missing in a disaster that left Brando out on his own for the rest of his life. He looked around trying to find them but only found this locket. Brando swore from that day on that if his family was alive and they were out there he would find them, and he wouldn't stop looking until he did.

Barry's most prized possession is an Alpine Rescue barrel passed down through his family. Originally given to his grandfather as a pup, it was given to his father, and now him. Although he doesn't live in an area that would ever require him to become a rescue Mako, Barry proudly wears it around and speaks very highly of the silly little object.

I didn't really know what it was, when I first saw the stuff. Ya' know, water. It was strange, wet and clear. I was only a baby, but I remember pretty well. The little cove my parents and I lived in flooded during a rainstorm, and they were swept away from me. I was drowning, my tiny wings waterlogged. I remember the feeling of my lungs filling up with fluid before I blacked out.

The next thing I know, a human child had picked me up and was carrying me to safety, rubbing me with a warm towel. I coughed up water and she held me close to her chest whilst I shivered. I went down into the darkness again. After I woke up, I was living with this person. She hasn't forced me into water at all, and I appreciate that.

I was young, as you know, and was still figuring out the world. I knew what light was, what pain was, and what food was. I never knew love, or hate. Nor water for that matter. I had wandered out of the cave I had been living in, where I last was before my parents dissapeared. I saw a lovely blue river, but I didn't know what it was. I scampered over, and peered down. I saw some fish swimmingin it, and the liquid looked solid. Of course, I didn't know it was liquid. I tentatively reached out, and touched it. It was cold, and I wasn't sure if it would hold my weight. I looked over my shoulder, and saw a water skipper. I also saw a heron swoop down, and scoop up a fish. If a large heron could enter it, and come out safely, I figured, so could I. Of course, my logic wasn't the best back then, and I eagerly rushed into the water.

As I put my feet in the water, I found it wouldn't hold my weight. I couldn't find a foothold in time, and I sank to the bottom of the rushing river. Just as my senses had begun to gade away, the ever-constant current supported me, and slowly pushed me back up. I was at the top, and, sputtering, I saw a log. I kicked with all my might, until I reached the log, and I climbed on. Shifting ad cold, I hugged the log as tightly as I could, until it lodged upon a rock. As soon as I was sure the log was secure, I shakily climed to the shore.

As I returned to solid land, I had experienced another thing: water. And the river supported me and helped me when I fell unknowingly into it's clutches. I decided to name myself after the river, honoring it for as long as I lived. My name then became River Splash.

Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

Variety: Long tail, Normal facial markings. SPECIES MASCOT!

Finally got around to give this guy a ref - he is the species mascot and was the first ever designed DVF. He is quiet special to me I should have given him his own ref ages ago. I will own him, yet at the same time he will be a NPC to everyone else. You can use him as a NPC for stories/art/RPs/Other adoption forms but you need my permission first and you have to show me it when you make it.
