It's not your fault Ty. Though, it brings up a good point for how breeding permission is regulated or not? I know there is not a lot that can be done about it though. Hopefully, people just keep better track of what babies they have.

"You're a strange one" I said. Then she took of in a gallop and ran around the field neighing in joy! She had found a home. The mares silvery tail was like the tail of a streaking comet. Her delicate face glowed under the moonlit sky.

xxxxA colossal, flea bitten gray stallion stood rigid on a stony grey ledge, his piercing grey eyes scouring his grassy fields. The faint glow of the moon bounced lightly off his shoulder, lighting up the bloody pattern on his shoulder like a lantern. That's when he noticed the trespasser; a dappled black mare with a crescent moon on her forehead and four white socks. He narrowed his colourless eyes, and cantered down a grassy, steep slope to the right of his ledge and approached the dappled mare, his ears perked rigid and his pupils dilated, in the scarce light. "Who dares to disrupt the my herd." He neighed lowly and stretched his neck forward, till it was inches from the grazing mare's slim and delicate face. She peered up at him with quizzical amber eyes, glittering in the silver sheen of moonlight.

xxxxHe growled out a derailed whinny before shooting out a snort of heavy air. The strange black dappled mare had returned every night! "You continue to disrespect me! I demand your name." She stared up at him with the same inquisitive optics, glowing faintly with the last sliver of golden glow on the horizon. She chewed the grass unbothered, and opened her maws to speak for the first time. "I am Hecate. Why do you continually ask of my name, when I come only to eat?" She snorted lightly, smiling with her eyes. "And I am Ǎḇaddōn, the stallion of this herd. You may not graze in my lands, trespasser." He spat out, his teeth bared offensively. "You seem rather vulgar. I think I'll call you that." His eyes grew crazed with rage and madness. "Fine. I shall deal with you soon." She turned and walked slowly into the shaded forestry, obviously unbothered by Abaddon's threat.

xxxxThe grey and red stallion was unsurprising to see the mare return on the seventh night. It was time, he had given her a chance, yet she had given that up. He bared his teeth defiantly, his teeth sheening silver in the moonlight, a thin slick of mist covering the side of the field that Hecate reappeared from each dusk. He caught site of the dark dappled coat, with the slim delicate head marked by a crescent moon. The other mares in his her had learned to keep their distance, and either herded yearling filles away, or covered their foals with their bodies, backing away from the mare without even lifting their heads. Hecate barely seemed to notice it. "Hecate, loner mare from no herd, I sentence you to death, for trespassing." He roared out in a rough, low neigh. He lifted her head, her ears perked. "I disagree. I wish to join your herd." He stared down at her from his ledge, and mares swiveled their ears to hear the converse between their over stallion and the strange mare.

xxxxHecate was now a mare of his herd, and although she was one of nearly three hundred mares, her dark coat made her stand out from the red chestnuts, palominos, whites, greys and bays. In the time she'd been there, he'd driven out the years colts, and four of the elderly mares had passed. Nobody felt any sorrow, for their fillies were now grown, and caring for their own yearlings. The mare was seemingly growing on him. She may have been the least trustworthy in his herd, but she was refreshing. New, and not stuffy or spiritless like the rest of his mares. While the herd's old mares slept in a scattered formation around the field, Hecate would lay near the base of his ledge and show off her dark coat where the moon hit her coat and made it shine like silver. She certainly stood out, but he needed to flush any possible secrets out of the mare.

xxxxThe flea bitten grey stallion woke, to see stunning white lights glaring into his stone-grey eyes, two-legged creatures advancing on him, and herding his mares away. The spineless, emotionless mares lipping at grasses and half sleeping like it was nothing to be ripped from your home and leader. He stood up on sturdy legs as thick as tree trunks, his muscles rippling under a red flecked shoulder. A strange fabric collar was roped around his head, and a rope clipped on just as fast. He bucked and kicked, but it was no use. They had him. It was over. He was done for. A few mares turned droopy stares onto him, their eyes surprised yet still care-free, and they made no advance to help their stallion. Hecate was the only other one fighting. She was kicking up storms of dust, but they're looped a leather collar around her face too. They'd lost.

The filly and colt I am talking to listen intently. The filly looks scared and the colt looks like he is trying to hide the fact he was scared. "This stallions is called Abaddon meaning the destroyer for the way he destroys everything in his path. Do you know what his favorite prey is?"The foals both shake there heads. "Scared little foals like you!"I reply as if on cue the foal let out a whinnies of terror and run back to there mother's. I watch both of them amused.
"You know you shouldn't tell them stories like that. They aren't going to sleep tonight..." Willow says. I snort.
"So? At least that'd teach them to not sneak out into the forest again" I reply Willow looks annoyed by the comment.
"Your hopeless..." She mutter before galloping off towards the foal. I look up at the horizon and notice the setting sun, it's starting to get late... How long did it take me to tell that story? No matter. I should probably try to get some sleep I know those foals are going to annoy me through the night about the "legend". I didn't come up with it however. It's been a story for decades to keep foals or yearling out of the forest surrounding this property. My parent told me and know I tell the other trouble makers. It's a rather good process it's kept the foals out of there. When I'm just about to nod off a voice drift into my head...
"Jasmine!" the voice calls behind me. I look back to find one of the temporally mare as we like to call them.They stay here with there foals for a bit and then leave. I believe she's the mother of the colt and it my memory is correct her name was Cashew. She's your average chestnut horse with piercing blue eyes.
"Yes?" I say. I swear I can never get a second of sleep around here.
"We're you the one telling my foal those legend stories, again?" Cashew say angry budding in her tone.
"Yes, I am" I say bluntly. Cashew's ear's pin back.
"Well you manage to terrifie my foal and you going to find a way to fix this!!" She says loudly.
"Calm down" I says a smoothing voice that I regonize at Willow. Willow shots me a glare.
"How about this Jasmine with go out in the forest and make sure "Abaddon" it's there?" She suggests. She's kidding right? Does she know the dangers of going out at this time? I really don't what to become a mountain lion's dinner. From her look I can tell she's not. I notice Cashew lighten up a bit. Seriously? Does she want me dead?...Yes she does... but still!
"Fine." I say ticked off. Cashew look amused, that little...
"Your going to kill Jasmine?" The filly asks cutting thought my thoughts.
"Jasmine isn't going to die..." Willow ressure the filly.
"But what if Abaddon gets her!" The colt protests.
"Abaddon wouldn't get her. That only a story Jasmine told you to keep you out of the forest" Willow says softly. "And beside if she does get hurt the human will look after her and she will be at good as new in no time. Beside Jasmine can take care of herself." Willow respond calming down the foal. I envy her comforting skills, I have not talent in such things. "Let's go" Willow say and with that we are off.
With a bit of difficulty I manage to jump over the fence, trying my best to ignore the shock that it gives me. "Are you coming?" I ask.
"No I'm going to help Cashew with the foals." She says calmly walking away for the fence. And with that, I was alone.

I wander in the forest, keeping myself alert in case of danger. I know this know paranoid but I feel like I'm being watched... But somebody or something.
