Equestrian vaulting. Knowing that the person performing atop of him is completely relying on him, makes him feel useful. His rider could be seriously injured if he messes up, and because of that Celius practices on a daily basis, making sure to never fail his companion. Sense he can't see, his rider has trained him with sound commands, for example a click of the tongue means to speed up, and a "yip" means for him to prance. The hours of practicing creates a very strong bond between him and his rider, and though he can't see the love he can feel it.

How do you help achieve his goals? You see the crop in the above picture; well when going around barrels or on straight aways I tap it on my thigh and on the barrels, because of the sounds that then bounce off of the things around him, it has been described that it paints a picture in his mind. This is almost like the echo location used by bats, Taka, has been using this method since the two days after he was born, and so he is quite adapted to it, when we started to notice what he did, we adapted this to his riding style, because of that we use the crop, but only to help create noise. His horseshoes are especially designed to make noise and are also slightly thicker so that when he goes into trot, they make a click everytime they hit the ground, this adds to the pictures that are created in his mind, and are what have helped to make him a champion over the years.

A short story about this tolter:

"You hear about Fred's newest colt? Say's the poor thing wont so much as look at him, let alone the other horses. A shame, really, such a pretty thing. Fred says he's got no choice but sell it; and for not even close to what he payed. That or put it down." Ly knew you weren't supposed to eavesdrop, but the two stable hands were talking so loudly it was impossible not to hear them, and as soon as she'd heard the tone of the men's voices she made a point to listen; she'd take in any animal in need, horse or other. As soon as the men were out of the stable, Ly pulled out her phone and dialed Fred, their down-the-street neighbor. The two talked at length, and he agreed to show her to the fearful colt.

When she arrived that afternoon and caught sight of the poor thing, she knew immediately she'd buy him. He was huddled at the furthest side of a smaller round pen, staring at her with wide-eyes and ears - oh, you bet your bottom she noticed the ear with the heart on it -, laid back nearly flat against his head. Ly walked towards the pen slowly, staying on the opposite side of the horse, and began to just talk. She talked about whatever came to mind, the weather, the new foal she'd gotten that she named Tequila and how he and her boy Shinedown were getting along. She talked, and the stallion relaxed, enough to make a timid step closer.

"Well, I do declare you and that colt have hit it off! He's yours, for free. Load em up and take em home tonight, if you'd like." Of course as soon as Fred's booming voice rang out, the horse snorted and retreated, pawing the dusty ground nervously; but it had been a start.

The next day, Vic, as he'd been called, was settled into his own smaller pasture, and Ly worked with him until she was able to saddle and ride him.

So basically, when I was in third grade, there were apparently two armed men on my school campus. They probably just had pistols, as they were criminals. Not major criminals. Minor. It was said that they were on campus in order to hide from the police. Thus, the school was put on lockdown.

My class and I were terrified, of course, considering we were little third graders. We were just scared that the gunmen might come in and take at least one of us hostage, like one of those things with the police, "Come closer I'll keel so and so." None of us wanted to get injured.

I don't have much to elaborate on, but at the time, not much was said. We all just had to stay in our classrooms for awhile until the gunmen finally left. It was a little awkward since we were too scared to do anything, but yeah. This probably doesn't seem that scary, but not many details were given so... ;u;

A retired war veteran returning home to his over-grown pooch <3 and I think I'll use a less scary story than I originally had planned.
I have severe PTSD(post-traumatic stress disorder), and one of the events that causes a trigger are natural disasters, tornadoes especially since I live in Arkansas, a.k.a Tornado Alley. When I was about thirteen, my mom worked until midnight on Tuesdays, so I'd be home alone for nearly eleven hours after school, and this night just so happened to also be during the time before I got a cell phone. So I'm sitting at home on my laptop, when it starts raining really badly. I didn't think anything of it, it rains a lot here. But the TV in my parents room, which I keep on at all times cause silence bugs me, cut to an emergency news broadcast. "If you live in so and so counties, get to cover now! There's a tornado touched down near you." I immediately burst into tears, and ran to the house phone to call mom, who didn't pick up, so I called my dad, who also didn't pick up. At this point I was full panic-attack, so I curled up on my bed and cried until the wind picked up so bad it rocked the house. I grabbed up my dog and ran under the house, since we don't have a tornado shelter and our house is on cinder blocks. But I began to rationalize that maybe the bathtub, or even the sink hole in the woods would be better places to be. So I dragged my poor dog in the house, back under the house, through the woods, all the while screaming and crying and shaking. I finally settled on sitting in the bath tub, both of us soaked through, with no power and a mattress over the tub until mom came home four hours later. I found out the tornado had passed literally two miles from me, and to this day I can't be even be home alone or without my phone for the shortest amount of time without panicking.

Well, a few years ago, I was on my schools football field doing discus when I was about 12 and it was going all fine and I did my throw and all was good, you know? Then as I went to sit down, I was facing the road that bordered the edge of my school field and a car pulled out a little side road… as a car was already speeding down the road. They collided and they spun around the road. Finally, the card stopped and they started to smoke. My PE teacher and another PE teacher ran and leapt the fence to go help the people in the wreckage. Some of the more spooked kids started to hyperventilate and have panic attacks. It wasn't a bump, it was a full on smash. Then, my friend recognised the car what had been hit… he thought it looked like his Grandmothers car. He started to get upset. We were all ushered inside while our PE teachers helped these unfortunate people. Many kids had to be sent home because they were really spooked, I, on the other hand was fine. Yes, it was scatty but I could hold it together better than most people. In the end an ambulance came and the roan was closed off and the people were taken to hospital. Thankfully, there was no casualties. That was all thanks to my PE teachers. Also, it wasn't my friends Grandmother, it was someone with a similar car.

Also a personal experience was when I was jumping my horse and someone stupidly put it up to 1m15 without my consent as I turned for it. My horse being an good jumper cantered up to the jump quite fast... Then he realised it was bigger than he was used to. He leapt it and I landed on his bum on the side and he bolted out of the ring. I remember seeing the fence and i was going it to hit it gave first. I just remember telling myself that I was NOT going to fall today. A second before I hit the fence I pulled myself up onto his saddle in a flat out gallop and narrowly missed it.

This is Lilly's comfort item because it has been with her through some of the scariest times in her life, the first time she can remember that it comforted her was when she was taken from her parents. Lilly was taken to a different farm at a very young age and the only thing she had to remind her of her old life was her carrot toy!
