History:
Saskia was born from a mare that was a Loner when she was conceived. Not much was known about her father, but in Saskia's mind, he could have been a hero.
Saskia's Dam, by the name of Lotus, seemed to have been a normal mare. She wandered when pregnant to the herd, and felt welcome there. She felt as though she had a new home, and would start a new life with her unborn filly.

A few months later, the filly was born into the herd. Lotus couldn't have been a more proud mother to have birthed such a beautiful filly. The other horses adored Saskia, with her bright and bubbly aura, and predicted that she would become a large asset to the herd.
Lotus was a wonderful mother. She had taken perfect care of her yearling, and took her everywhere she had gone. Saskia loved her mother, and saw her as a huge role-model. The way she had respected the others of the herd, the way she held her head so highly, even if she wasn't perfect. She oozed confidence, and radiated with kindness. This really had set the stage for who Saskia wanted to be. She wanted others to come to her in their times of need, as they did her mother, and she wanted to be looked at as a sophisticated and intelligent being.

A few months after Saskia' birth, Lotus became sick. She had been caring for others during the time she had spent in the herd, and didn't take care of herself.
She had soon passed, leaving behind her beloved Saskia.

Why does this tolter love the water so much?: Splash is not one to enjoy other's company much. If she's stuck in a pasture all day, she icolates herself. Others don't appreciate her aloof self, she's a girl of thoughts, and doesn't speak much or try to socialize. When she does, it's about ideas of the world. She has her ideas, and they often get shot down, but that won't effect her. Splash is a creative and smart mare if she would stop doubting herself half of the time. You don’t understand what is happening. There are screams and yelps all around the camp; it’s total chaos. Everybody is running in different directions, diving for the protection of the mountains.

You hear a snarl and whip around just in time to see a large wolf try and pounce for a young Xholi. You almost start to run to their aid when you hear a growl behind you and a sudden sharp pain shoots up your thigh. A rabid wolf has gotten hold of you. You try to struggle free, but the wolf is only snarling louder and clamping down harder. The pain is starting to get unbearable.

Suddenly, something seems to distract the wolf because it instantly lets you go and runs off. You won’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

You try to struggle up but your leg is severely wounded. You look back to see your fur matted and stained dark. You put all of your strength in your front legs, finally pushing yourself up with a grunt and groan of pain. You take a step, testing it out, and decide that you can still limp with minimal pain.

You look back up at the camp; everybody has mostly fled into the mountains. There are still a few stragglers trying to hide and multiple wolves snarling and sniffing around. You see a small pup cowering in a corner, their fur stained red.

“Leliel,” a voice says behind you, or maybe it was to the right?

You turn your head, looking for the source of the voice. It sounds familiar-

“Leliel,” it says again, this time closer and much louder. You slowly turn your body to the left, looking again. What you see makes you freeze.

“Leliel,” they say again. It’s your Savant. Their eyes are dull and dead; unseeing. You notice that their chest is stained red, along with his front legs. You can see claw marks all over him.

“You have failed us, Leliel,” they say, taking a step closer.

Your heart starts pounding. It’s all your fault? Yes, you think, it is all your fault. “I’m- I’m sorry,” you choke out, taking a step back. They are still moving closer.

“You have failed us, Leliel. Why didn’t you protect us.”

“I’m sorry!” You stumble in your steps and fall to the ground. They are still approaching you.

“No, it’s all your fault,” they stopped a few feet in front of you. You think their eyes are looking behind you. When you hear the snarling and feel the warm breath on your neck, you know why.

“I’m sorry,” you whisper, shaking.

Suddenly, you feel the teeth clamp down on your neck. It hurts. It hurts so ba-
