Friendly reminder that if you already have several Mustangs and/or aren't planning to enter more in the Mustang Million, please take into consideration the fact that there are users who have been trying to get a Mustang to enter for a good while now and are unable to because of timezones and busy schedules. c: So if you look at your horses and think "Man, I sure won a lot of Mustangs in these auctions!"... maybe it's best to not drop in at the last second just to add another one to your collection ^^ Also, as a new rule, you may not win more than three Mustangs from auction if you aren't entering them in the Mustang Million <3 Thank you!
Something to remember when adopting Mustangs: these Mustangs don't have to be entered in the MM, but all are eligible and I think it'll be a good deal of fun c: Don't worry, it'll be nothing as intensive as the Thoroughbred Makeover -- some sort of art or care post once every week or two should be fine, especially since you can have as many as you'd like! We'll also have several classes to enter your horses in, so you're sure to find something <3 Let the bidding begin! There is no auto on these bids; the highest bidder after 24 hours exactly (last post to the minute) wins the horse! All will start at 150c and the bidding will increase in increments of 150c or greater -- you may bid against yourself as many times as you would like, and if the same bid is posted twice in a row, the first person to post the bid is the official bidder of that amount. Bids may not be edited but may be withdrawn within a reasonable time frame, and if you could keep all bids ending in a 0 or 5, I would love you forever xD All right, let's get the fun going! Welcome to Wind Reaper Adopts!  What are Wind Reapers?  Wind Reapers are a species of dragon that inhabit high ground, most
commonly seen on mountain peaks. Their long, thin body allows them to maneuver steep slopes and jagged cliffs with ease. With their strong back legs, they can easily climb trees and make amazing leaps. Although they are unable to fly, their light body weight allows them to glide, with help from their high jumps and long tails. Their tails are very flexible, helping them climb and glide. Despite their appearance, most Reapers are relatively timid and shy. They are loners, however occasionally enjoy a friends company. They mate for life due to their lack of trust for others, and can live for up to 30 years. |

The Kite Festival During a special time of the year, Wind Reapers will come down from their usual high-ground territory and gather on a large open windy field. Here, they chat about recent happenings and feast on a wide variety of fruits and berries, but most importantly, pinecones! Besides the chit chat and feasting, the Reapers have a traditional kite-flying event. During the event, Reapers make their very best kites out of their own materials. Kites will range from small and plain, to very large and beautiful materials. Some Reapers will only use the very best material, but others could care less. There's free food, right? When all the kites are ready, the Wind Reapers will rush around the field flying their kites all at once. It almost looks like some out of control race, but it's enjoyable none the less. The kites are usually about half the size of a full-grown Wind Reaper, but can be much smaller or much bigger, depending on the complicity. They also resemble the kites' owners, in both size and color. However, the Reapers in this event have slightly larger wings, ready for flight. Why Do They Do This? Due to Reapers lacking the ability to fly, they make kites that they are proud of and fly them around, wishing they themselves could be flying through the air with the same grace. Some Wind Reapers are crazy enough to tie them- selves to the kites and glide around for themselves, however, for whatever reason, this is looked down upon and they are banned from the festival. So What's Up With This 'Summer Event' Then?? Well, those very Reapers that were banned from the festival are very determined to fly. To the point that they will decorate themselves to look like a kite and try to get away with it! What daredevils. But they could care less, because most of them get away with it and are given the short opportunity to fly (somewhat) freely through the sky. Is it really worth it? Of course! the Reapers in this Event Well, they're going to be just that! Detailed flight-ready Reapers to be displayed in the Kite Festival! Most will be colorful with detailed designs, so be on the look out for these unusual fellows c; How Long Does this Event Last? Usually a few weeks- This year the Kite Festival will be going from
June 15th to July 6th |

Important Things to Remember and Note They will be set up like normal adoptions, however you will be required to try a bit harder in the adoption. They will mostly an 'impress me' contest, involving art, story, music, detailed descriptions, exc. to impress the artist. Give yourself the best chance of winning! These will be very special Reapers, after all! Also please remember the 5 Wind Reaper limit per user (staff, 6)! You may enter for as many WR as you'd like, however if you go over the limit and win another, the last Reaper you won will go to the next-best user's form. Remember, WR are typically shy, but they are going to enjoy themselves
at the Kite Festival. This is one of the only times in their lives when they will gladly socialize with others. The Reapers in this event are mostly outgoing and are strange creatures- their pattern/s will most likely reflect their personality! Also, you must be marking this thread to win a Summer Even WR! |
