Following the escape of Experiment 666, Purgonine scientists were devastated at the loss of their life's work. They believed that there would be no way to continue their work and that they would have to completely restart from the ground up. However, someone happened to salvage a DNA sample from Experiment 666, and everyone's hopes immediately rose. They had a chance. They would recreate "The Purgonine of the Future" in the form of what they called Experiment 777, a number which is commonly associated with being the number of God. This Purgonine has many of the same features as 666, a thicker tail, sharp ears, and long lashes. |

Hmm, I think the reason your designs come out all 'muddy' is because Oekaki drawings, when posted, are .jpgs. Here's a .png version, if you wanna see:  All I did was change the 'auto' in the image URL to 'png'! It looks a lot clearer this way, hehe. |

fautor meaning: one who gives support; a protector sad story: it's funny to think about all the things that have happened in your life, how one decision has inevitably led to another, until it's an avalanche that will undoubtedly crush you. as a pup I wasn't very sociable and nobody stayed around me, as bad things seemed to happen to those who did, and it's still the same way now. however, I did have one friend who stuck by my side for a while. they belonged to the dunia pack, and were of the dusk clan. we met by chance when a scout received the go ahead to take a group of apprentices along one of their routes, along the dawn maji then to the dusk dunia borders. I had a particular interest in becoming a scout, so I asked to go, even if I would be surrounded by yearlings I didn't know very well. it was a surprisingly short hike, and we made it to the end of the dunia border in only a couple of hours. there, a few dunia yearlings appeared to be out on their own. most of them gave us strange looks, as if we were the ones without a guide. I peered past shoulders and tails, trying to get a look at the strangers. I caught the eyes of one, and they gave what looked like a smile, and at the time it confused me. the scout huffed and told us we ought to come back to camp with zir, and none of us objected. I glanced back at the dunia xholis, but the group was already walking away. I decided then that I would come back when I was finished with my training tomorrow. I was able to steal away in the early morning since the savant said there wasn't anything to do for the day. when I made it to the spot where we met the dunia yearlings, I was disappointed to find that no one was there. after a good few hours of shuffling my paws and half-heartedly chasing after fish in a nearby stream, I heard a rustle. I gulped and called out timidly, "w-who's there?" a vaguely familiar form stepped up, but they kept to the shadows on the dunia side. even so, their lavender eyes were unmistakable- it was the xholi I had locked eyes with the day before. "hi, I am aether. what made you return?" they queried, a ghost of a smile on their face, head tilted with the question. "...I-I'm not sure," I replied haltingly, only just now wondering to myself why I had come back. "oh and I'm fautor- sorry, I for-" "it's fine, fautor, there's no need to apologize," the small yearling assured me quickly. after a while we both became comfortable with each other. aether revealed themself completely, and I was able to calm down and work out that stutter I always get when I talk to others. aether was amazing, so nice and quite the conversationalist, which made me unsure as to what they saw in someone like me. their pelt was beautiful, it looked like molten copper, and seemed to swirl, especially around their gem, which I caught a glimpse of when aether was swishing their tail. before long, we both became very tired, and agreed to meet up in a few days, when we were both free of any duties. I returned to camp feeling elated, and asking myself why I had been so anxious about making friends before. of course I wasn't cured; I still felt weird about being around other xholis, but aether made it easier. things seemed fine for a good few weeks. one day I got a bit distracted once or twice thinking about aether, but who wouldn't have, after having made their first good friend? that night I could hardly keep myself still, as we had planned on taking a trip tomorrow, a slow walk along the border of our territories. I think I was able to get some sleep at one point, but it was time to go not long after. we started off at the same place we met, and talked about, well, everything- our favorite foods, what we wanted to be, how things were in our packs. we passed a few scouts from both sides, and every one of them gave us rude looks. we ignored them, but it bothered me deep down, knowing that our friendship wasn't approved of by the few who encountered it. I still wonder to this day how none of them saw it before us. it started as a low rumbling, but we ignored it, thinking it might be another xholi who wanted to give us a piece of their mind. it was far worse than that. a panther slinked out from the undergrowth and stood, teeth bared and growling fiercely. I took a step back, as did aether, but the monster just matched our movement, stepping forward. they gave me a terrified look, and I imagine my face mirrored theirs. too fast. it moved too quickly for me to comprehend what was happening. it lunged at aether, probably because they were smaller, and I reacted without thinking. I lurched to move in front of them, which pushed aether onto their back. there was a distinctive crack, a cry of pain, of anguish, and a flash of fire. my gem burst a spat of flame, which managed to strike the cat. it was gone, but there were no cheers. aether was curled up tightly, but the damage was obvious. their gem, their once bright green gem was dull, and had a significant split right through the middle. aether raised those glowing purple eyes to me, filled with hurt. I opened my mouth, but no words escaped. they quickly picked themself up and ran, far and fast, away from me, from the xholi who ruined everything. sometimes when I'm on a patrol by that border, I look over, hoping to see those eyes... but I never do. shaved it down, now it's exactly 1000 |

I was very excited for my new girl to come. I have been waiting all day and have been looking at pictures of her all day long. I stared out the window waiting impatiently for the trailer to come. Jester was rather lonely when im not around to play with him. Weather the game be fetch the steak bone, or even tag (he always wins). I was just overjoyed to get another Nera.
When the trailer pulled in Jester perked up. He seemed to know there was another Nera inside. He stood on the other side of the fence watching curiously. I waited on the side of the trailer, I still couldn't believe I got her before everyone else. Jester could hardly control his self as the woman came out. She gave a friendly smile. "Hello, are you.. Sandy?" I noded "That would be me, thank you!" She told me to sign in a few places. I gave the payment and then she handed me the lead. I smiled happily and opened the trailer door. There stood my gorgeous girl. I walked into the trailer and clipped the lead to her halter. She snorted but did nothing more. I lead her out and Jester whinnied loudly trying to get her attention. Yet she paid no attention to him at all, instead she looked around at her surroundings. She then saw some lavender growing next to the barn. She sent down sniffing it. I let her watching her smiling. I decided I would name her Lavender lemonade. Lavender just seemed to simple of a name for me. She eventually moved on, and I lead her into her stable. She snorted looking around, she was very calm. Very very different than Jester. I uncliped the lead and let her sniff around her stable. When I reached out to pet her she made a odd growling sound with her ears pinned back. I backed away and continued to watch her. When I went to put Jester into his stall he kept trying to go see Lav (short for Lavender lemonade). He was acting like a colt and I found it quite amusing, he has been very lonely and he was overjoyed to see a new Nera. She soon snapped at him causing him to back off and I was able to get him into his stable. I went to her stable to try again. I went to pet her and she backed away marketing that growing sound. So I held my hand out and looked back, she had her muzzle to my hand. I smiled and pet her with my other hand, she growled and paded away. I smiled watching her and threw in some shrimp, the women said it was her favorite meat. I also put the lavender growing next to the barn there. Which she sniffed happily. I walked away overjoyed that I was able to pet her. |

 The next day I jumped out of bed happily, the saddle I ordered should of come in today. I was super excited and came outside to see the package waiting for me at the door. I opened it and brushed it off. Black and purple leather, it was outstanding. I couldn't wait see it on Lavender lemonade. I walked to her stable. She was sleeping next to the lavender I gave her last night. She seemed very found of purple things, mostly flowers. Jester was already up and restless. I clipped his halter to the lead and let him in the field. He started to roll and whinnie in a playful way. I laughed and got out a steak bone, he jumped to his feet and waged his tail. I threw it as far as I could throw it. And went to get Lav. By the time I got back Lav was already awake. She wasn't as excited to see me as excited I was to see her. I smiled and tried to pet her, this time she let me. She was not as fond of it though. I clipped the lead to her halter and lead her out. She looked around walking slowly as she looked around. I could tell she wanted to go in the fields which had purple wildflowers growing. I lead her into a small fenced area, and tied her to the post. She pulled on it growling , I pet her gently trying to calm her. It worked somewhat... until I pulled out the saddle. She was not very pleased! I tried putting it on her but she ran to the other side of the post. I sighed and sat down, I watched her sniff some near by flowers. I picked some lavender and I caught her attention instantly. I was able to lure her close enough for me to slip on her saddle. She was not very pleased! She tried kicking, but it stayed. After trying to get it off she soon gave up. I strapped it in and she growled angrily. I took it off quickly and let her into the field. |
