I couldn't wait for him to arive. I stood watching the driveway, I couldn't stop smiling. I saw a trailer pull in I could see his nose poking out the side. i laughed. I pulled the blue halter off the hook with the black lead rope. The man said delivery for Kat. I said yes. He grabbed the halter and lead him out. All I could say was wow I can't believe he is mine. I will call him simba because of his big cat markings. The man lead him closer. I pulled out some of a carrot. He sniffed it and slowly ate it. I put out my hand for him to sniff. He put his head down low enough that I could reach. I slowly stroked his head and then moved around his body. The man held out his hand to hand me the lead. Oh sorry I said thank you. So I put him in the special stall I had been preparing for a month. It had automatic water. The pasture had lots of big trees for him to climb. That's where he could go during the day.

Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

What is a Trail Blazer?

Trail Blazers are spiritual entities that are guided by their tails. When born, Trail Blazers do not have a fiery tail, only the patch of gems on their shoulder. Depending on the gem color, the flames will retain that color as the form. That way, you can tell what color a TB's flame will be before it forms.
A Trail Blazer will wander the universe in the form of a figure of mist until it has found the person it was meant to be with. At birth, a TB is randomly paired with some human in the Galaxy. As they grow older, they start communicating over long distances to their human using telepathy, until they eventually grow their flame, which allows them to travel to their soulmate.
Trail Blazers treat their companion with respect and follow them around, acting like a scared-y cat around other humans. They only form a bond with that human, and will reject any other option of companionship, including a mate. After their companion passes, they travel the universe alone, refusing to grow close to anyone.

First touch-
I unloaded Apache into his stall on the other side of Seph. He had a glaring face towards Majix. "Apache," I said. "Be nice to Majix." He turned his head towards me and was looking for the chicken sent coming from the tack room. "Not right now boy. As soon as I can get you out to the pin, maybe you can have it." Apache looked very upset that he wouldn't get anything for the ride home. "Okay fine, here you go." I tore off part of a chicken thigh and tossed it into his stall. I went to the tack room and grabbed a full chicken and put it in a closed bucket in the arena. Then, I lead Apache out to the center of the ring. "I am going to try something different with you boy. You seem special."
I tried to load him onto the treadmill made for large animals and attached the chicken to a string. I started it up at a cantering pace. It was a large treadmill, so it would take a bit of more effort for him to get it. He tried different methods, such as reaching his head and neck out or leaping out for it. None of the methods worked. So I slowed the tread down to a trot and he snatched up the chicken in just seconds, and I was able to pet him. "Good boy. Let's get you back to your stall so you can rest for the rest of the day."

First Saddle-
Apache has been working all week and has gotten a lot better about other stallions and geldings, but he still hated them. After a week or two of work on the treadmill, I tried to lounge him. Apache tried nipping at me, but learned his lesson quickly; if Apache bites, then he doesn't get a treat. Finally, he warmed up to the idea of being lounged and letting me touch him without nipping. I let him have a day to himself in the paddock to rest and be ready for the saddle. I put the saddle on the railing of his paddock fence and let him sniff it. He tugged at the saddle pad and got a piece of it in his mouth. "Apache! Don't eat that!"
A day later, I put Apache in to the cross ties. I showed him the saddle pad and he let me put it on just fine. Then, I showed him the saddle and he bit it and through it across the isle way. "Apache," I said. "You aren't supposed to do that! It is supposed to go on your back." I started laughing as I went to achieve the saddle. As I came back, Apache allowed me to put the saddle on and the girth. I gave him a whole rabbit's leg for doing well. "Job well done boy. I think I might try you out in the ring."

First Touch
It was a rather chilly summer morning, faint patches of fog clinging to the humid air. There had been a violent rainstorm the previous night before, and considerably large mud puddles were scattered throughout. Despite the frigid air, I'd decided to take Arathorn out for a ride along my property.
I urged my gelding into a quick-paced trot, enjoying the feeling of the wind in my face. Suddenly, I pulled him to a stop and rode down a fairly large hill, humming tunelessly while Arathorn picked his way along. Even though it was cold, it was still gorgeous out here, I noted to myself, gazing at the sparkling dewdrops that clung to the grass surrounding us.
"Come on boy!" I exclaimed, touching my heels to Arathorn's sides. He sprang into a gallop, seeming to enjoy the fresh air, tail streaming along behind him. We rode along for several minutes before I asked Arathorn to halt. I slid from the Neravontii's back, dismounting atop an ancient tree stump; if I were to attempt to dismount him on empty ground, I feared I'd hurt myself due to my short height. I gently grabbed his bridle in my hand, leading him over to a gorgeous cottonwood tree.
No sooner had I released the headpiece then I realized my Nera's attention was elsewhere.
I followed his "gaze", quickly noticing the spotted figured in the distance; another Nera. I was aghast. There hadn't ever been a wild Neravontii on my property before. I scrambled to the tree stump and hauled myself over Arathorn's saddle, asking him to canter. He shook his head and snorted wildly, refusing to move forward. "Please Arathorn." I begged. "Please. I want to see if that Neravontii is owned or not; if it is I need to return it." Reluctantly he loped forward. When we were just feet away from the magnificent creature I halted him, vaulting ungracefully from his back. I hit the ground hard, unharmed, but in doing so I'd grabbed the attention of the mysterious alien.
She approached me shyly, her footsteps silent against the damp grass. Her nostrils quivered curiously, taking in the scent of my gelding and myself. She reached me with three long strides, her reluctance obvious within her hesitation. The female Neravontii lowered her great head, ears pricked. I expected her to go berserk or something ridiculous like that, but to my surprise she only nuzzled my face gently, stepping back.
Slowly I clambered to my feet, careful not to frighten her. It was evident she was not owned by anyone, though she was not skinny or malnourished in any way. My hands flew to the straps of my backpack, slowly slipping them from my shoulders. I set it warily on the ground where I removed Arathorn's halter.
I walked up to the spotted Neravontii, careful as ever to make sure she knew I meant her no harm.
"Hey girl." I whispered. "Will you please come home with me? There's more Neras for you to be friends with." I gently stroked her muzzle, smiling when she gently nuzzled me back. I quickly slid the halter on her, fastening the claps rapidly.
She didn't struggle at all as I did so. Maybe she was wild, but she'd seen other Neras wear a halter and knew its purpose?
I would never know, but I was wildly ecstatic when she followed behind my gelding.
I whooped and cheered as we made our way home.

First Saddle
It had been several days since I had brought home the Neravontii. I had had her for a mere 3 hours before I'd come up with the perfect name for her: Sunspot.
She'd settled in nicely with my herd. Her and Andromeda had become instant friends; I had a feeling that it was because of their calm and mellow personalities.
Since she had adjusted so quickly, I decided to start her training. Today was the first thing on the list: get the saddle on her. I'd dealt with one as stubborn as Wendell, and I knew somehow that she would be far more obedient then the gelding had been.

I strode over to the gate that led to the pasture, sighing as I spotted several specks on the horizon. Of course, my Neras had decided to go as far as they could. I sighed in faint annoyance before I whistled loudly, my irritation fading immediately when all of my Neras began to compete in a "race", so to speak. Arathorn was in the lead like he usually was, eagerly tossing his head. Much to my shocked amazement, Sunspot was trying her hardest to pass the gelding, sides heaving, feet hammering the grassy earth. Sunspot suddenly let out a surprised squeal, losing her footing and staggering. By then Arathorn had reached the gate, slamming to a halt.
They knew I had wanted Sunspot to come, but for whatever reason all of the Neras had decided to venture along.
I unfastened the silver gate, stepping inside with the enormous creatures that could kill me with a single move. "Hi guys," I greeted, offering them some baby carrots I'd purchased specifically for this reason. I gave all of them a pat before I haltered Sunspot and led her away, a slight spring in my step.

I brushed down my girl, talking to her whilst I did so. "Today I'm gonna put a saddle on you." I said. Several minutes later I told her, "You ready for this, girl?"
Once I had finished with brushing Sunspot, I returned the brushes to their original spot, trading them for riding tack. It was the same Neravontii training saddle that I'd used with nearly all of my other Neras, the same saddle pad that'd been used for similar purposes.
I perched the saddle and the pad atop the fence I'd looped her lead to, allowing her to investigate these foreign objects. She nudged all of them carefully with her nose, only slightly wary about these objects. When she seemed okay with them, I offered her a slice of apple. Sunspot eagerly accepted it, munching the piece of fruit eagerly. I patted her neck gently before I seized the pad, tossing it over her shoulders. Quietly, she turned her head and nibbled at the corner of the fabric. Seconds later, however, she turned her head away and rested her chin against the post. "That's a good girl." I praised, adding the saddle atop the cloth. She remained calm as I cinched up the saddle and fastened clasps. I grabbed the saddle horn and put weight in the left stirrup, repeating this process several times so that she was okay with it. I then copied what I'd done on the left side on the right side, proud of Sunspot when she seemed perfectly fine with it. I figured that I might as well get her used to the basics.
I drew myself up over the left side, wiggling about in the leather of the saddle for several seconds before I dismounted, doing so on both sides multiple times. The only time she ever really reacted was when I lost my footing.
As I slipped from the saddle, she moved quickly, spinning her head about to break my fall. I grinned broadly at the Neravontii. "That's enough for now." I told her, removing all of the tack and placing it in its rightful spot. I untied her lead rope from the fencepost, leading her away where I turned her loose in the pasture once more. Before she left, however, I drew Sunspot into a hug. "I'm so proud of you." I whispered.

Scarfyz are normally thin and slender creatures meant for living in warm rocky areas. They have a tiny bit of smell, only good enough for smelling flowers when it's 2 inches from their rabbit like noses. So instead of smell, they have a sixth sense. This sense is a gift from their god, Atosethis. It was said Atosethis, God of scarfyz and their world, had pity on the species she created for having no smell. So she gave them the amazing ability to have extra eyes and be able to see their worlds as maps if they needed to. They have antennae that Atosethis placed on their head so they could tell what each other where thinking. The antennae read minds, but can never place a thought in there heads, which isn't that helpful. They are very intelligent animals, although the appearance of a dog and a rabbit. They normally wrap scarves around their necks to preserve warmth, for these creatures loose their heat very quickly. Scarfyz with extra fur can live up in the mountains and in snow fields and tundra. Female's scarfyz scarves are a little smaller than the male scarfyz scarves. (example: you have a male winter scarf and a female winter scarf. The female's scarf is smaller than the male's.)

Tall, lean frame, round ears, and bright eyes, Xholis are diurnal, hierarchal, and intelligent species that wield the forces of nature. Xholis are social animals that can be recognized into 2 different clans. The ones that hunt at dusk, and those that hunt at dawn. Their pelt reflects their environment as the Dusk hunters tend to have darker palette while the Dawn hunters are significantly lighter. Between those two clans, the species are once again split into more diverse and specialized packs. Fire, Earth and Water are the most common forces of nature that each Xholi wields. The gem they are born with determines their attribute, which is effected by the parent's gems. Every Xholi is given a role befitting their status in the pack, and the leader of the each pack is expected to keep the peace.

General Info
Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.
