Guardian Foxes are a species of canine closely related to Fennec Foxes. Fully grown, they tend to be about the size of an adult German Shepherd or Great Dane. Kleeare (klee-are) are a species of nocturnal equine found on the island of Nocte. Most of the predators on the island are diurnal, hunting during the day and sleeping at night. In order to avoid the predators, Kleeare have evolved to do just the opposite, sleep during the day and be active at night. Due to this, Kleeare have whiskers and large ears to help them navigate in the dark. Though their most notable feature is their bioluminescent spots, made of bioluminescent cells and hollow, pigmentless hairs. They use these spots for communication, similar to a firefly.

What is a Trail Blazer?

Trail Blazers are spiritual entities that are guided by their tails. When born, Trail Blazers do not have a fiery tail, only the patch of gems on their shoulder. Depending on the gem color, the flames will retain that color as the form. That way, you can tell what color a TB's flame will be before it forms.
A Trail Blazer will wander the universe in the form of a figure of mist until it has found the person it was meant to be with. At birth, a TB is randomly paired with some human in the Galaxy. As they grow older, they start communicating over long distances to their human using telepathy, until they eventually grow their flame, which allows them to travel to their soulmate.
Trail Blazers treat their companion with respect and follow them around, acting like a scared-y cat around other humans. They only form a bond with that human, and will reject any other option of companionship, including a mate. After their companion passes, they travel the universe alone, refusing to grow close to anyone.

This will be an impress me contest. Prettying up and extras are allowed. Ends on August 1.

Edit: I'm looking for people to help me judge competitions, you get something cool if you do so! Please check out this post if you're interested.

And the first of the summer pallio designs is here! Meant to do this earlier but got caught up in other things, haha. I still need to draw up the other ones, so it may be a while before I put them up. Thought I'd put this one up first since this design seemed to be the most popular.

So, this pallio is somewhat smaller than most pallios. They have a short tail, fluffy ankles, and a strand of hair that sticks up for some reason, along with two-toned normal type cape. They are also seen often wearing flower leis, usually a red one, but they've been seen with other flowers.

Regarding the eyes, they can be whatever color you want, including heterochromia.

Scarfyz are normally thin and slender creatures meant for living in warm rocky areas. They have a tiny bit of smell, only good enough for smelling flowers when it's 2 inches from their rabbit like noses. So instead of smell, they have a sixth sense. This sense is a gift from their god, Atosethis. It was said Atosethis, God of scarfyz and their world, had pity on the species she created for having no smell. So she gave them the amazing ability to have extra eyes and be able to see their worlds as maps if they needed to. They have antennae that Atosethis placed on their head so they could tell what each other where thinking. The antennae read minds, but can never place a thought in there heads, which isn't that helpful. They are very intelligent animals, although the appearance of a dog and a rabbit. They normally wrap scarves around their necks to preserve warmth, for these creatures loose their heat very quickly. Scarfyz with extra fur can live up in the mountains and in snow fields and tundra. Female's scarfyz scarves are a little smaller than the male scarfyz scarves. (example: you have a male winter scarf and a female winter scarf. The female's scarf is smaller than the male's.)

A Cleud is a wolf that has some cloud fur around its neck, which makes it unique. Stars are also stuck to the fur of Cleuds, and cannot fall off unless pulled with force. Cleuds get extremely sensitive when anything attempts to shift their stars so don't get too close! The stars also glow brightly in the dark, which is useful sometimes. They come in different colours, any you could imagine! They make good companions, although at first they may be distrusting and timid. Their young are called pups, and usually come in litters of two - one is unusual. Their eye colour always match their stars in their cloud fluff.

A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious

What Does Her Design Remind You Of?
Well, when I first looked at her, I thought of fish scales. Upon further inspection, her design looks a little like the center of a flower. Right now looking at this lovely design, I think it resembles a microscopic look at Non-keratinized (moist) Stratifed Squamous Epithelium (cells in the human body), but it mostly resembles a microscopic look at human red blood cells. (Being in an Anatomy class where we deal with microscopic things on a bi-weekly basis, I am now reminded of the things we've been going over in class.

) Her design, whatever it may really be based upon, is absolutely gorgeous. I love how her design is just abstract enough to not be pinpointed, but not so abstract that it doesn't remind one of something. I love her entire color palette, as Autumn colors are some of my favorite colors, so I love reds, oranges, and yellows.

Personality:
If Atlanta is anything, it is full of life. Energetic and active, she loves to connect psychically with other Flox and chat with them in their own language. Atlanta feels more deeply than the average Floc, and no one really knows why this is. Her keyholder - that would be myself - adores the little one's affectionate nature. The Floc will often hover beside her keyholder, and will rarely leave her side. When she's not floating about, exploring anything she can stick her nose into, she is as clingy as a toddler. She will literally rest beside her keyholder, and will spend time with her keyholder doing nothing of great importance due to this clingy attitude. Her keyholder doesn't mind, though - she loves the little Floc, just as she knows the Floc loves her. When Atlanta makes a mistake or hurts another Floc's feelings, she will feel such great remorse that she may appear to deflate a bit. Because Atlanta feels so deeply, hurting another creature, even indirectly, will crush her to the very core. Having a tough past herself, she's done her best to better her behavior and become a better Floc. When she hurts others feelings, she feels as if she's not improved in the least and that's she's back to square-one - even if it's just a simple mistake or slip-up on her part. Ultimately, though, Atlanta's over-active feelings and emotions don't affect her negatively - they make her a better Floc; a more caring Floc; and a Floc who will give her all in whatever she decides to do beside her keyholder.
