It was a day in the mid-winter. Snow was sprinkling down in the suburban neighborhood below as children darted back and forth in the white snow. The students had retreated back home for the holidays, taking a break off to spend time at home with their families to celebrate Christmas before returning back. Xylon and his usual 'friends' were out and causing mayhem and trouble once more, just as it was during the school year. Xy, leading his pack of 'friends' alongside him, ventured down to the frozen neighborhood lake, which was frozen over. The ice was soon getting thicker and thicker by the minute, due to the increasing downfall of the snow freezing over the thick, cold layer of ice. Scrambling down to the frozen body of water, the small group of bullies made their way down to the icy lake, slipping and sliding every which way before finally arriving down to the solid ground surrounding the lake. Slipping over, the group of 'friends' stepped onto the ice, skating over the icy surface, somewhat graceful and somewhat silly with all the flopping and falling once in a while. After a few hours of skating around on the frozen lake, the Vaikis jumped back on the frozen shore, laughing and joking around with each other as they played the simple, but mildly complex game, Truth or Dare. One of the another Vaikis started to nudge the leader of the group, Xy, as he started to point the direction of one of the trees, smirking as his mouth moved in the formation of words. The darker pelted Vaiki hesitantly nodded, but kept on a confident smirk as he stood up, making his way over to one of the frozen trees, but there was no confidence in his walk, at least not to him. At the base of the wintery trunk sat another Vaiki. A lighter pelted one, though this time, it seemed to be the complete opposite of the dark Vaiki, a sweet and innocent exterior, holding a small, hard cover book in his paws, the Vaiki was tanned, dappled with patches of brown and a small pattern of hearts on his cheek. This child was known as Percival, or Percy for short, and is known to be the 'Angel' of the school, sweet and innocent as an adorable puppy. Percival paid no mind to the oncoming 'Terror', but instead was wrapped up in his own world, where the adventures of a brave knight fought off waves of evil with his gallant sword. Taking the final step, Xylon stopped in front of the reading Vaiki, plastering a devious sneer onto his face as the Vaiki opened his mouth to speak his taunting words, which made that other male snap back into reality with a shocked frown. Percy opened his mouth in response, which only made the other grin. Beckoning over, he started to saunter away, half expecting the other to not follow, and his instincts were right. Percy stayed ridged in his seat and only gazed nervously on at the dark Vaiki. With a scoff, the heated air dispatched away a few seconds later in the air, one of the group members stepped forwards, throwing harsh words at the tan male. Slightly provoked by harsh words, Perc stepped forwards, shooting back a weak response, only powerful in his own mind, but clipped and silly in the others as they began laughing, mocking the poor Vaiki. Anger fuming out of his ears, Percival turned red from embarrassment and anger, ears fuming hotly and face bright red under his vanilla fur. Spitting back a few words, Percival stepped forwards, stamping onwards onto the cool surface of the ice, accepting the oncoming challenge the other Vaikis threw at him. With some prodding of his friends, Xylon stepped forwards, the same sneer present upon his face, spoke the few words that would soon give Percy his many fears in the near future; "I dare you to swing onto the middle of the ice!" of two business Vaikis, he was often neglected by his parents due to work. He was left alone, and dropped off at school in the morning, but he walks home in the afternoon, taking him at least 20 minutes to finally get back to the large 2 story house. Xy's parents don't particularly get along well at home, arguing and throwing things, Xy usually stays cooped up in his room, squeezing his ears shut with his small paws. One day, the arguments got too extreme for the red Vaiki, and so it spurred him to actually do something this time. Descending down the stairs, Xylon started to speak up for the first time, interrupting his parents' heated argument. Immediately turning on the smaller Vaiki, the two adults started to spit out harsh words at their son, blaming him for this broken family, and lashing out all their anger at the child. Xylon could only stand still and listen to all the fury his parents released before darting off to this room, eyes filled to the brim with hot tears streaming down his dark fur. Packing his most needed belongings, he snuck off from his room, and ran away from home, sneaking some food with him before he went off. Xylon spent a few days in the large city before he finally resided at his aunt's, a kind older Vaiki he took him in with welcome arms. Xy happily stayed there with her, but just as his parents, his aunt was also incredibly busy, though she still left a few minutes in the morning and night just for her 'precious little nephew!' Though most days, his aunt returned home stressed out and tired, the old Vaiki always had a soft spot for Xylon. On her own, his aunt had tried contacting his parents, informing them of the situation and that they immediately pick him up now, but they refused, spitting back "Good riddance!" as they were informed that her son was gone. The two other Vaikis had no concern for their son, and only 'explained' that he wasn't good enough to be the heir for the Yexe family, and that they were better off with a child that was more submissive and polite, much like that one child named Percival, as they heard often from Xy. Skipping on ahead a few years, Xy was sent to a public school, not too expensive and not too cheap, he received a good education, though he didn't have the 'best' choice of friends there at the school... Associating himself with the 'Rebels' at the school, Xy took on a more, bully-like role at the school, alongside a few other students that attended the same class as the dark colored Vaiki. Skipping a few years ahead, Xylon had already made his way up to the top of the chain, being the 'toughest' and 'baddest' kid in the school, the students currently attending there knew when to step aside for their 'leader' whenever he roamed the halls. All but one. And you can probably guess which one that was... Sweet little Percival. The two had their usual bickering and fights, but nonetheless, they avoided each other like the plague, leaving other puzzled at why the two won't get along. Most didn't understand what happened that fateful day. What events happened, or the things said, not many knew. But a few did, and they spoke nothing of it to this day. Those who knew, kept their mouths shut, and they didn't question the distrust between the two Vaikis. One day was a particularly bleak one, in this young vaiki's history, and that was the day he learned his parents true feelings about him. His parents, as spiteful as they are, both insisted that he knows they don't love him, and they never did, and that they don't care at all about his fate. They warned his aunt, his mother's sister, that if she did not make sure he knew this, they would, and it would not be pretty. Why would they care for him to know these things? Because Xylon was rather cocky in his last meeting with his parents, assuming that he was hurting them with the fact that he didn't want them. His prideful parents wanted the record set straight. This revelation, even softly by the hands of his aunt, effected the young vaiki greatly, but he would never trust anyone with this, and began to separate himself from his aunt, believing her to secretly be the same way. So Xy locked himself away, and stopped eating, becoming scrawnier and scrawnier. For a brief period of time, he was very quiet at school, sticking to the back of his posse, and hardly bothers anyone. One day, his body couldn't take the strain he was putting it under, and he broke down behind the school dumpsters, where he was seen by Percy. Nobody really knows what went on, what words were said, but Xylon came to regret how he had reacted. ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ;; ╭............................................╮
He tends to be more quiet and reserved by himself, shutting himself out from the rest of the world while he resides at home. He stays home alone most of the time or with his aunt, but staying in a large home all by yourself has its' cons. When Xy was younger, he had a more, pleasant personality, but as the years past, with the neglection of his parents, Xylon Yexe grew darker and foul, associating himself with the oppressors of the school. Turning from his delightful personality into a more despicable person, Xy changed into a more foul Vaiki, teasing and taunting the other students attending the school, he can be seen pulling pranks and various students, mocking the teachers, and even threatening students or other people if it meant it would keep a secret. But that's all just a big cover for the dark Vaiki. With large walls set up around his exterior, he may seem rash and cold from an outsiders' view, but from someone who knows him from the inside, he's just a big, cuddly teddy bear, though he still lets some emotions weld up sometimes, and the effect can be bad. Once you get to know the darker colored Vaiki, he starts to become more clingy, and emotionally attached to you, as if he was afraid of losing you, but even if you reassure him multiple times, that everything is fine, but the Vaiki will still seem hesitant about leaving you alone for awhile. Usually putting up too many walls, he sometimes forgets to take care of himself, putting on his facade for too long and keeping it up for show against other Vaikis, which finally results in him letting out all the stress and anger stored up inside. Hiding himself away from the rest of the world, he locks himself up in his room, starving and just crying out his eyes for the next few days. Xy doesn't speak much about it to anyone, as he doesn't have another being who he trusts enough to share these things with him, his trust issues the source of this. Back in his earlier years, he had gone out yet another Vaiki, one of the 'popular' girls as you would say. She was in everybody's eyes, including him. Not long after they went out, he found her going off after one of his 'best friends', in which she explained that she was only in it for the 'fame' and his friend. Torn apart from both of them, he retreated back to his quiet self, hiding away for a while before returning back to school, 'all fine and dandy', but something was off. He was more snarky, snappy, and all around more mocking, snapping at other students for no reason and being harsher than usual. A thought could be that he was trying to hide his pain by masking it with fear. Xylon Yexe is a complicated kid. He has his rough and tough exterior, hard as an elephant's skin, and his interior, which was as soft and cuddly as a small kitten. ╰............................................╯ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ʀᴇʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴsʜɪᴘs;; ╭..........................................................................╮
Pffht... Don't even get me started on that little wimp! He's just a big scaredy cat! He doesn't do anything fun and he always cries over little things! I mean seriously! Who cries over such a small thing as someone throwin' a small bug at them, eh? I was just havin' a bit of fun, but he just has to ruin it all, doesn't he? I mean, he's nice. too nice... I mean, who forgives someone when they forget thier part of the project? I wouldn't! It's their fault! Why make him suff- I mean, Why blame it on another err... you get the point! Besides. He's the 'perfect' child my parents always wanted. Posed and kind, he's too much of a Pet to be a real kid! I'm sure they would prefer a robot instead of a kid... But I do wonder sometimes... Why would Hiyake ever spend time with a brat like him?... I mean seriously? Why does he even waste his breath even talking to him, eh?... I can probably amuse Per- I mean, H-Hibiki better than he ever can... What does Hibiki even see in him as a friend anyway?... Besides. I have all the freedom I want! A good aunt! Great friends! What more could I ask for?... My parents' approval? Nah! Whatchu talkin' 'bout? I'm... My own person now... On my own... Alone... xᴀɪᴠᴇʀ;; Ah. That guy. He's pretty cool... I guess... I mean, he doesn't really judge me like the others... Though I don't think he thinks at all. But hey, he listens to me rant sometimes, I mean. I don't even know how we became 'friends', but I think it was because of Him... I think it was because he saw me bothering Him, so he stopped me and sat me down and made me 'spit it out' and he listened. He actually listened to what I have to say... I thought all adults were pretty bad, but I think Xaiver is rad as heck... Don't tell him that though, he may seem cool and all, but he's still snappish and rude most of the time... personal experience ᴍᴇᴇɴᴀ;; Meena?.. The blue one?... Ehh... I don't really have anything to say about her... She... Freaks me out a lot. The weird gleam in her eyes, I have no idea what it's about, I just go with the flow... Usually, I just avoid her, but she just bothers me a whole lot... I guess she grew on me now. N-not! I-I think she's annoying, and s-she should just l-leave me alone... and I do not get lonely whenever Mimi-, I MEAN MEENA, is not around... ʜɪʙɪᴋɪ;; Hiyake's a cool dude. He's pretty funny and likes to prank people with me sometimes, though not all the time. He's pretty nice, hangin' around with that one Vaiki named, Minty?.. Or Mitha... So I don't hang out with him all the time. Gonna wreck my rep with everybody... Though he has an obsession with ice cream, Hibiki has good taste in pranks and jokes, and his siblings are pretty cool too, though the one named... Ira? Can be a bit scary at times... But hanging around those 3 is pretty rad too, even with their weird obsessions with sweets... ᴍɪᴛʜᴀ;; Who?... Oh. You mean that minty girl... Yeah.. She's ok. I've only heard of her around school, though I've never talked to her, Hibiki mentions her once in a while, so I've heard things 'bout her. Other than that, I've never talked to her, she seems shy and scared of me, so it'd probably be better, since she seems like the Teacher's Pet, I'd get into more trouble than it's worth...

 Username: broken* Name: Birch Gender: Male Why all the stripes?: he was born in a birch tree forest. his father was a solid, dark brown and his mother was a pale, simple white. the fact that he came out bearing both colors was not surprising; his stripes, however, were. and yet they also weren't. because he blended in perfectly with the atmosphere in which he was born into and raised in; the birch trees blended in with his fur perfectly, like he was born with them in his genetics. the stripes helped him blend in with the forest and camouflage/protect himself, especially when he was younger. What's in the orb: the orb contains a special paste-like mixture. the mixture, when applied in even a slight amount, cause the user/wearer to be able to camouflage with the environment he/she is currently in. |

Much like other large dogs, like Irish Wolfhounds and Great Danes, Clifforde is a master of taking the BIGGEST naps. This lazy, but serene and loving nature that he has about him makes him, despite his large size, much more of a house pet then an active jogging companion or dog sport champ. 'Ford would much prefer to lounge the day away at your feet as you work at the computer or watch tv. He doesn't require much, other than petting and feeding, so taking care of him is by far the easiest of all the Kelpies at Csillagok Kutyák. Infact, his gentle giant nature is often put to good use around the kennel; "hanging out" with the newer or more nervous dogs, and ever more recently, therapy work! Favorite Activity: Ford's favorite activity by far, is the opporunities he is now recieving twice a week; his visits to the local psych ward. In real life, the facilities for the mentally ill are not barbaric and gothic, but much more like those of the regular urgent care or emergency hospital; busy, and full or energy, but also quite lonely and depressing. And that is where therapy dogs like Clifforde come in. Though he is just wrapping up basic training, his trainer and handler are already taking the hulking flame-ball of love and laziness to the hospital to brighten the days of every patient that they possibly can. Their seemingly endless stream of kisses, cuddles, and pets make the hospital everything Clifforde has ever wanted... that and the nurses are always more than willing to cut him his piece of that evenings dinner as a tasty snack. |

Before coming to Novigrad he was used exactly for that purpose. Novigrad's always prided itself on its hunting dogs, but noticed that the newest pup wasn't quite as hardy as the other hunters. He clashed with the preexisting hunting team and wasn't quite aggressive enough to hunt on his own. After a while of trying other events, he finally found his calling: lure coursing. |
