Barn Name - Skoúren. Derived from the greek word skoúra, meaning "dark one".

Halter - Like a traditional greek warhorse's halter, it would be a dark black tone, with the thinnest possible pale silver trim. It should also have small, pale silver diamonds, the same shade as the trim, on all of the straps in a symmetric pattern like this. It should also have silver clasps. I would also like to have a small halter charm added, in the shape of a small, greek-style sword, made entirely of silver, the same pale shade as the diamonds on his halter, hanging from a silver chain.

Best Day:
Rosemaree is a vengeful spirit, having her own love taken from her she vowed to take others. Those who summon her think she's a friend, one to say if your relationship with last. She emerged from the shadows, charging at the couple.

His ears rang with their terrified screams, and before he could think Zeth had ran in front of them and taken the mare's wrath. The couple had ran, while he struggled to keep RoseMaree distracted. He took every kick, every nip, every bruise until he knew they were safe. She had no reason to kill him, so when her victims were gone she left; vanishing into the void again. He left, but before he got to far Zeth collapsed form his injuries. He woke to a gentle touch, the same woman from before had come back just to make sure he was alright. They tended to his wounds, bringing him food and water. They continued to do this every day, until he followed them back home.

Best Day: Vladimir's best day ever was when I took him to the Medieval Faire. It was hard to decide what to go as so I got his opinion, by showing him two pictures, one with a horse in armour and the other a unicorn, and you'll never guess what this big, red, brute chose.
Vladimir trotted into the arena, his newly attached black horn gleaming in the bright light of the sun, he didn't want to look to nice and friendly. I wore my own costume, covered in blacks and reds, my makeup dark. We rode to cheers and boos, we were bad but our costumes were stunning.
Vladimir, turned at the sound of trumpets, this was to be his opponent, the only thing standing between him and the title of champion, then out trotted the most beautiful white mare, her mane flowing, and her blue eyes sparkling, her rider was a gallant prince. She nickered softly as we stood beside each other, telling him how she liked his look. Then she wished him good luck and trotted off to her starting position. Vlad shook his head, he couldn't let her beauty get in the way, he had to focus on the obstacles ahead.
The Trumpet blew and they were off, twisting, jumping, turning, and dodging everything that came their way, all while keeping up a decent speed. The end was drawing near, and Vladimir had a significant lead, he was pushing hard when he notice the mare was a slower than him, so instead of heading to the finish like every level headed stallion would have, he turned and re did two of the obstacles, he knew his rider was frustrated but now he was neck and neck with the mare. So much so that when they passed the finish line it was declared a tie!
Now you may think "how could this be his best day?" but the answer is simply, not only did he get the title of champion, he also got the girl.

The Day I Met Sunny
My best day ever was the day I met Sunny, my best friend. I was one year-old. I was playing in the pasture with my mom, when a new mom and baby came into the pasture. I whinnied to the foal, and she walked toward me. I wasn't sure what to think at first, but after a few hours, I got a little more comfortable. I walked around her, making sure she wasn't going to hurt me, she was friendly. She said her name was Sunny. Then the humans came with their brushes. They set the boxes of brushes down, and Sunny darted for a brush. A foal like me. She took a brush and threw it to me. I knew then, this was only the beginning of our adventures.

What is a Sima?
Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.

The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.

Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.

The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.

A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

This was at the redneck Olympics I took this a while ago in 2014 and because I think the horse would make a good redneck I think this would go good. Because of the pig head and where it was taken. And the horse Likes dirty water to play in so there was a pool with dirt it's a "redneck pool" lol I will change this picture when a recent one is taken but that won't be till the end of july/August

The dawn of his life was... well, not very dawn-like. Garth came into this world blind, a premature colt in the heart of winter. Before he could even see, he was taken from his mother and put in a place with... well he couldn't tell you what it looked like, but he knows for sure it was uncomfortable, the smells burned his nose, and every so often there would be a sharp prick at his coat.

But he kept on living. What else could he do?

He stayed in this place for what seemed like forever, but for humans it was only a month. A month and a day, and he began to see. He didn't know what colors were, but he knew what he saw hurt. Bright everywhere, what humans would call white, everything was clean, and there were tubes everywhere.

With his vision, came movement. Unsteady attempts at getting to his hooves. This... felt natural, he was meant to be doing it. Within minutes, he was up and steady. And still he was kept in this unnatural place, this white-walled prison.

And still, he kept on living. He was too far now to do anything else.

Days past, and finally he was allowed to go outside. The sky was vast, a huge expanse of blue stretching so high over his head he didn't think he could ever jump high enough to reach it. And the ground was covered in something white, and though the color sickened him by now, he couldn't help but roll in the cold stuff as soon as he was let out of the arms holding him. There was a sound, a neigh, and he perked his ears. He knew his mother's voice anywhere.

Another neigh pulled him to his feet, nearly colliding head-first with a solid, warm chest. His mother! He pranced around her, eventually going to suckle, as his instincts told him to. But... he found no milk. Instead, he was given a sharp knock to the head, and a shrill warning from his mother.

But he still pushed on, determined not to give up now.

Days, months, a year passed, and he grew into a strong yearling, and was sold. His new family was a lovely one, a young girl and her parents, and all three very obviously loved each other. He and the girl became fast friends, though as the days went on... a strange smell grew about her. He tried to tell her, to tell her parents, but the stupid humans wouldn't listen, and there came a day when... there were no more rides, no more cubes of sweet oats and molasses in the morning, no more weight of a saddle. The couple couldn't bare the sight of him, and sent him away to be sold.

Now, he almost wanted to give up. But he had to go to the end, see if things got better.

And they did! He was bought by his birth home, reunited with his mother, and started under training for cutting. And things were great for a long time! But... he started to notice the number of horses grow smaller, until even his mother was loaded in a shiny white trailer, and he never saw her again. This cemented his hatred of the color white, and that made it even harder when it came his turn to be sold, thrown once more into auction as if his life meant nothing.

Reluctantly, he kept moving forward, though it was hard.

Finally, it got better. He was bought by a lovely woman, and he was taken to a place far away, and arrived at a little island that housed a large equestrian center named Songbird Acres. There, he became fast friends with the horses, and finished his cutting training.

Now, he was glad he kept on living, saw it to the best years of life. He was happy, finally.

First Autumn:
When Dahlia was a child her mother told her how she'd gotten her name. They walked among a maelstrom of leaves, all turned this way and that by the wind, flashing red then brown then orange then green. Some had collected in her mother's mane and lay tangled in her hair like ornaments.

"I named you Dahlia for my favorite flower," her mother said suddenly, looking askance at her foal. Dahlia pranced in the grass, her tiny hooves crushing the dead patches into a fine powder. The wind picked that up too, whisking it from the ground and along a complicated system of currents. "There's a bed of them down here."

"Really?" Dahlia asked, ears pricking forward. She half-ran while her mother walked, galloping circles around her, mimicking the wild movements of the wind and leaves. "How do you know?"

Her mother smiled. "It was my favorite place as a child," she said demurely, "And I would like it to be yours too."

The wind had a slight bite to it, a chill that wound fingers in Dahlia's thin coat and laid kisses of frostbite across her flanks. She shivered as if to clear them and canted her head at her dam. "What do dahlias look like?"

"They're red," her mother said, pressing her whiskery nose to Dahlia's neck, "Like you."

Dahlia's excitement grew. As they walked her mother explained to her that while there were many kinds of dahlias, her favorite were the red ones that grew during autumn and winter. "'It's nice to see color," her mother said, "When everything is turning brown." She told Dahlia that she'd first noticed the flowers when she was her age, and had loved them ever since. They grew wild, ignored by the ranch hands, and her mother admired them for that.

As they crested a stout hill and Dahlia kicked leaves that flew up between her spindly legs her mother said, "Ah, there they are. Just as I remember." Dahlia lifted her head and peered at the swatch of red that had caught her mother's eye, a great gash in the earth caused by erosion or lightning or something Dahlia was too young to fathom, and full to the brim with enormous red flowers. They crowned short stalks and leaned towards the soil as the wind tugged on their petals. Dahlia ran to better see them and marveled at how close their colors were, at how right her mother had been.

"I first saw them when you were still very small," her mother said, coming up behind Dahlia. "You were too young to know them and then the season was over and they were gone. I'm glad they're back this year."

Dahlia wandered among the flowers, the heavy blossoms tickling her sides. She was small enough that she did not disrupt the flower bed, only left tiny crescent moons in her wake. "When you leave here," her mother began slowly, wanting to impress upon her child the importance of this but not burden her with it; she took a deep breath and went on. "When you live somewhere else I want you to remember these flowers, Dahlia. They are important."

Dahlia stared at her mother and nodded. "Yes mommy."

Her mother touched their noses together and lipped at Dahlia's fine ears. "Remember that when things are hard and cold and seem hopeless, there is color somewhere. There is life growing even under the snow. Do you understand?"

Dahlia looked back down at the flowers, fallen leaves crowding their stems and soil. She squared her shoulders and nodded once more, firmer this time. "Yes, mother," she said. "I understand."

First Autumn: Fall's first autumn began with a sneeze. The little colt skittered along next to his dam into the pasture on the crisp, cloudy day. His confusion intensified when he saw the trees were orange. He bolted about, leaping and stumbling while his dam looked on with mild amusement.

"Momma! The trees are weird!!" The colt bleated once he had skidded back to her side

"Yes, Fall, when the leaves change that means summer is over."

Fall's ears perked, "So summer left?" He queried. His dam responded with a gentle yes, and the colt leapt about with excitement, "What's the time that comes after summer called?"

"Autumn, little one, also known as Fall. Because the leaves are falling."

"So like me?"

The dam chuckled and nodded before laying down in the shade of an old oak, on a pillow of the orange leaves. Fall soon joined her side and folded his spindly legs to snuggle against her flank. The older mare groomed her son, her final foal, while she rested in the shadow of the ancient tree. She couldn't help but be amused by his peppy curiosity, something she hadn't seen in so long. It brought a softness to her face that wasn't very common anymore. She watched over him as he fell asleep against her flank, bending in with the orange and red of the leaves they laid on.

Falli's First Autumn

I stood in my stall looking out the stall window, I saw different colored leaves Fall from massive tree's. The leaves where from Brown, Orange, Yellow and they where so beautiful I winning as I wanted to go play in the leaves. My owner came and led.me out into the autumn day and put me in the paddock and there where leaves in it. I winnied and played around in the leaves, I loved them. This was the best day of my life. But I had to clear the leaves to eat the green grass. I winning with joy as I witnessed my first autumn.

I skipped to my dam and she winnied to me"How do you love the leaves?"she asked"they are amazing!"I answered with joy. I got down and rolled in the leaves and I was happy. I winnied and winnied, till we had to go in. But I stood my ground as o wanted to play with the leaves more. I winnied and winnied but they won and I had to go in. Well that was fun, I said to myself as I snorted I wanted to go back out but I couldn't as the crisp night took over I had to wait till tomorrow
I sighed as I tucked my legs under my body and I drifted off to sleep and dreamed of the autumn leaves.
