First Touch
The Nera Training program had gone so well at my barn that I received two sponsors who decided to pay for me to train another one in their names. The young boy I was getting was a gelding named Mano, who was absolutely adorable. I was overjoyed to get one last chance to train a neravontii again. Mano was a brilliant green color that shone when he played in the water. The videos that the agency had of him made him seem like a fun soul to be around.

As soon as he first reached the barn, I could tell that he was a curious one. We released him into the paddock and let him meet up with my other Neravontiis: Prachi, Abraxas, Verna, Zelda, and Kimana. They all seemed very interested in his arrival, and together I watched as they would play together in the field. They resigned in the tree up above which held some old fish bones. The center said that Mano specifically ate fish, so I made sure to stock the troughs up with a variety of fish I purchased the day before.

I Walked out happily in my coat and waited for him to approach me. He naturally smelt the fish in my hand and came over to eat it. I tossed it out a few feet in front of me and let him come and pick it up with his hands. As soon as I was sure that he was eating, I gave him a few pats, and then let him sniff my hand. He reached out his tongue and gave me a wet lick across the arm and then trotted off to join his new companions in the pasture.

Her name meant protector. She was considered divine. She might have been a regular old equine, but she was considered a guardian to them all. She was a gift from the heavens themselves.

There was a village, a small colony of people, who'd made it their goal to create a greener, more earth-friendly environment. They made their homes from logs and wooden boards, they only used wind powered energy, and were sure to manage their waste in a more eco-friendly way. Never did they keep their animals in small enclosures, never did they let their materials go to waste. They were a good group of humans, determined to help save the planet.

And she loved them. For years she'd been searching for someone who'd do good, someone who wouldn't try to exploit her. And for years had she been proven wrong. She was more than happy when she'd found this little civilization which had since grown since she'd begun watching over them. They considered her a deity and worshipped her, often leaving offers in thanks for her. They would leave freshly grown fruit, and grains they'd harvested from their own fields.

Esme would always accept the gifts, and continue watching over them. It was a cycle, one that she would gladly consider following until the end of her days.

Backstory (4-6 Lines): I'm on my iPad so I'll do 15 and I don't know what that'll end up like on the computer.

Bloom grew up normally until the age of three. She pelted across the sky one night, jumping as she spread the yellow-green lights of the Aurora Borealis. (Did I mention that she didn't have the blossoms and vines patterened on?) She took a rest in a cloud, warming a tunnel through the frozen vapor with her light. She lay down and rested her head for a few seconds before, suddenly, she saw the others outside flee from the sky. She raised her head and peered around curiously before jumping up at the sound of a growl. A great shadow serpent-like beast rocketed through the cloud, just missing Bloom's leg. It gave a screech like icy claws and gracefully curved in the sky chasing after her. She let out a pitiful cry and ran, but her incredible speed was no match for the great horned serpent. It raced after her, turning its flat forehead to her. She tripped while racing through a small hail cloud. The serpent swiftly head butted her, to stun its prey. But Bloom, being young and small was slammed to the earth, lifeless. The serpent lost sight of her, and slithered away through the sky, leaving a dark trail. A few adults trotted down, dimming their light. Her light had faded away, she had been impaired by the serpent's horns, and was loosening her grip. Her mother sprinted through the crowd and huddled beside her daughter, 'Still, Why Still, Bloom?' She cooed, not seeing the attack. Her flowered mother stood up and tilted her head. Sheading a glowing tear her mother fell lightly on her. Instead of hitting her, they glowed and merged. Her mother gave up her light to save Bloom, a vine of pink flowers grew across the wound. She was healed, and called Still Bloom since.
