First Touch
In preparation for the foal I knew Sunspot was going to give birth to shortly, I'd moved her into a much larger stall. She'd need plenty of space, especially since there would be two creatures within the same enclosure. I'd also been extremely careful and thoroughly investigated said stall, fearing that if I had not the baby would injure itself somehow.

I had just finished feeding all of my Neras their supper, and decided that I'd stay with Sunspot just in case she gave birth; there were many things that could possibly go amiss, and I wasn't about to lose my foal to something silly. I dragged an old lawn chair out to the stable, along with a small towel and a blanket just in case the night grew cold- despite the daytime heat of summer, the nights could grow bitter and nippy in a flash.
The moment I saw Sunspot begin to pace anxiously about her pen, I knew she was close. I prepared myself to aid the mare, especially since this was her first foal- and mine, to be honest. But it took longer than I'd originally expected; it was around three hours before the baby was actually born. Thankfully, there were no difficulties, making it easy for both the mother and myself.
I entered the stall, blinking sleep from my eyes, patting my mare and offering her a carrot. I then moved to the baby.
She was stunningly beautiful, with markings bearing a striking resemblance to her father, Sonny. But she possessed something neither Sonny nor Sunspot had. Striking orange eye sockets. Her fingernails were also the same vibrant shade of tangerine, along with the fur lining her ears. Spots ran along her back, a deep mahogany. I gently ran my fingers along the baby's muzzle, admiring the stunningly unique design this girl had. "You're an awfully pretty girl," I told the Nera. Her ears pricked up at my words, and I could not help but smile. "You look like your father and mother, but at the same entirely different."
Since the night had ended up becoming very cold and bitter, I stayed with the newborn and mare until daybreak. I went in with them once more, to see if I could get the new baby used to me at a younger age than any of my other Neras and to make sure both mother and daughter were doing alright. Sunspot's stall was positioned in front of a pane of glass, though I hadn't truly wished it to be there. The first pale rays of dawn poked through the glass, illuminating the filly in a spotlight of sun. It was then that the name came to me.
I reached out once more to the filly. "Kira." I said.
"My little beam of light."

ahh! I thought I'd posted these, I must have deleted them on accident a while ago!! I'm soo sorry!!

The First Touch

"Alright, great! uhum... uhu... yea, I understand. Hmm, yea, I'm defiantly good with buying her, after all, she looks amazing from what I've seen, and she is rescued from Vashta. Can't wait for her foal! Okay, thanks, bye!" I hung up my cell phone, and gently slid it back into my back pocket. I had just gotten off the phone with the Agency. I was adopting a very expensive, but beautiful, one of a kind, rare mare. From the pictures I saw of her adoption profile, I saw she had large, furry, round, almost rat like ears, unlike any Neravontii ever seen before. Her tail was similar to Ferris and Franklin's, the tips of her tail were rounded. Her eyes were big and round, she looked very gentle, but I couldn't be sure just yet.

I bought her as soon as she went on to the market; without any hesitation I called for her. And with the help of some fellow Neravotnii owners, I already decided on her name, "Felicity." The agency said they should be here soon, as I lived fairly close to the Agency itself. I was told she transports well, so it shouldn't take too long to get her(and her foal) safe and settled in the trailer. I find myself pacing back and forth, wondering if I made the right decision about adopting her. I remembered how many people wanted her, and I'd assume she would be perfect, but something in me said other wise... I would have to wait until she arrived.

About an hour after I hung up the phone, I hear a familiar rumbling. I ran to my window, and slid on my two, old boots. Running out of the house, the front door closed in unison with the trucks engine. Outside, I shivered, realizing I had forgotten my jacket inside. It had been freezing for the past week or two, I'd lost count. But I wasn't going to run inside to get my jacket, this was a big, and I mean, big, moment for me.

From inside the trailer, I jumped, and was startled by what sounded like a dozen high pitch horse neighs, followed by Ferris copying the sound, his longer and deeper. I walked over to the back of the trailer, and shook the hand of a man I've never met before. He smiled at me, and placed a very high quality, soft lead line into my hand. "She's a great catch, luckily, she seems like she's going to a good home." His eyes went from the Neravontii, to my herd, who now, everyone was looking, their heads over the fence. Even Fara, my shy mare, who usually could care less about the commotion, looked interested in the new arrival. I got lost in my thoughts, "Have fun with this one" He told me in a very genuine voice. My eyes were down or on the oldish man's face the whole time. I looked up at the expensive Neravontii from Vashta, wondering how a wild Neravontii would react to my herd.

I faced forwards towards her, and "eyes" met, we were one in unison. Extending my hand out for her to sniff, her warm breath tickled my hand. Gradually moving my hand up, I stroked Felicity's large, soft ears."I still can't believe I bought you," I whispered into her round ears, "But I'm glad I did."

Fiachna nuzzled the little bunny held in his arms as he murmured to it. The one held in his arms was one
of many, many animals he had rescued. His house, if it could even be called that, was one huge self-run
animal sanctuary. Every part of it save his bed and about half of the bathroom had been adapted to suit
the needs of his friends. Some animals, the more domesticate ones lived in his house while the wild ones
roamed in large enclosed spaces on the back of his property.

It was warm. For some reason, that thought was bothering Fiachna. With a little
shake of his head, he tried to clear his thoughts. A few more seconds passed of the thought itching at the
edge of his mind, until he remembered. What had happened. His eyes flew open, and he saw two things, the
white of snow and a small gray fuzz ball on his nose. The more aware he became, the more he noticed more
fuzzy balls around him. With soft movements, he moved the first fuzz ball that had been on his nose down to
his paws for inspection, and it was then that he discovered he had found by a small warren of rabbits who had
chosen to take a group nap on him, and subsequently saved his life.

A Foxerfly is a fox-like creature that is rather small. They are about the size of the average house cat. Their very unique feature is the pair of wings on their back that allows them to fly unlike any other four-legged being. There are five different types of wings of a Foxerfly that resemble wings of insects.

Darkness.
It's the first thing I register when I open my eyes. For a moment, I'm disoriented, feeling unsure if my eyes are really open. I blink once, and then again for confirmation. It's certain--there's no light here anywhere. I decide to sit, just in case something tries to sweep my legs away from under me.
I know this is a dream. I've been in this situation before, so I'm not afraid. It's what's coming afterward that I fear.
Why, you ask?? Well, I don't know to be completely honest. It's just the change that I don't want. This dream changes every single time I imagine it. It makes me almost shiver in anticipation, uncertain whether I'm excited or afraid. As my body tremors, my mind registers another thought--"Another chance."
This thought makes me feel giddy all over again. Finally. Another chance to prove my worth.
I open my ears to the sounds around me. This time, there's a slow sort of song playing. I close my eyes, trying to recall the title.
"Beethoven," I think to myself, "Bagatelle, A-Minor."
The song mesmerizes me, so much so that I almost fall asleep right where I sit--that is, until I see light creeping in through my eyelids. Excited, I open my eyes.
I see I am presented by the same lord as last time. He is bathed in a light in the background, causing his face to be obscured in shadow. I dare not ask to see his face, and I feel small all of the sudden.
The lord's eyes meet mine, but my confidence didn't waver. Not this time, anyway. I knew what to expect.
But when he spoke, my courage would leave me immediately.
"Clarice Angelo...it's up to you. I'm certain I was not mistaken in my choosing."
I almost shivered as his voice rang throughout the air. The lord didn't speak in a normal voice. It was like the voices of everyone I knew combined into one sound. It really should have been beautiful, but to me, it was just terrifying.
It was like a symphony that everyone was playing perfectly in--only each instrument played in a different key.
I gave a weak little nod, unable to speak. He stood, and I resisted stepping back.
"I assume you know your mission. You must create a dance, new and intuitive. The Gods are getting tired of the same old routines. No more plain ballet or hip hop. It's your time to shine. Make something beautiful. I believe you can do it."
The lord sounded so confident in my abilities that I almost felt guilty, but regardless, I nodded.
"I will not disappoint you." I said. The ghastly symphony in his voice seemed to creep into my head, granting me newfound confidence. It was a feeling I craved and longed for since I first had this dream when I was young, and part of the reason I didn't want it to end.
He sat in silence for a few moments after my statement--perhaps he was smiling. Then, he extended his arms out, and in his hands was a glowing hourglass that appeared to be floating above his palms. Slowly, I reached out and took it from him. When the item touched my delicate fur, it seemed to warm them. I hadn't realized how cold and clammy my hands had turned.
"Present your new dance to me in three days time. When the finally grain of sand reaches the bottom of the glass, you will be summoned."
I nodded, and with a flick of his hand, he sent me tumbling into darkness again.
It was only then when I recalled the lord's statement.
"I assume you know your mission..."
Did that mean he already knew about the fact that I knew this dream from the past??

Favorite dream; Amalthea's favorite dream has always been the one she had when she was quite young and still had a functioning family. In the dream, Amalthea was flying with the spirits of the fairies in the forest, a place she was never allowed to venture forth. The dream started with her finally wandering into the forest, with no protection but her small, jagged claws. She had hesitated, images of her parents telling her not to go in there had rushed through her mind, telling her that it was dangerous to go any further. Her curiosity had given her enough courage to ignore it, though the guilt had weighed heavy in her heart that yearned for the freedom to adventure on.
Her little paws had wandered into the forest, anxiously going deeper and farther into the woods. Soon she found herself in the middle of a fairy ring, not knowing what it was.

A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.

What are Serrets?

Serrets are snake-like, limbless creature, but with the body of ferrets. The face are round and smooth, with no mouth visible. Their body can twist in many shapes/form and their body length can change temporary depending on their mood.
They don't have any gender, but can be called 'he' or 'she' as the owner desire.

There are currently three varieties of Serrets. The Masked Serrets are the larger, more diverse variety.
Almost all masked serrets have unique traits, such as horn shape, feathers, or even ribbon-like antennae.
Masked serrets aren't as common as their winged counterpart, as interbreeding between the two mostly results in winged hatchlings.

Winged Serrets are around half the size of masked serrets, typically fit in one hand when coiled up. Each of them posses a pair of shimmery 'wings' used for display, instead of flight, as all serrets can fly using their magical abilities.

The newest type of serret found is the shy PomPom Serrets. This type of serret is around the same size as winged serret, except shorter in length and significantly fluffier.
