Forest Run Arabians are a strain of the Arabian breed bred to what we believe is the Mustang. However, no one truly knows. They were found wild in the forests of a group of islands in South Eastern Alaska. FRA's can also be found in mountains in Northern Alaska, but it is very rare to find a herd there. They are the image of an Arabian but with a stockier build and less graceful movements.

Special Event!!
Our mascot, the horse on the front page, is a stallion named Algonquin and has unlimited breeding slots. Our staff has decided on adopting out some mares with a special bonus; they automatically get a breeding slot with Algonquin. In order to get these mares, however, you need to guess one of three possible foal outcomes the artist chooses. If you are the first one to get an outcome right, the mare is yours as well as the foal. Once you get the mare, that outcome you won with is the color of the foal.

Rules

Ω You may only own up to 2 mares.
Ω NO cheating, bribing, guilt tripping, or any of the sort. Any of this would result in an immediate ban from all special events.
Ω Other than that, have fun.

Note: All artists must use this Coat Calculator for both the 3 choices of colors and the contest in general. Algonquin is a Bay Appaloosa. Genetics are EE//Aa//nL.

how they got their scar: one day cerys was on a walk when
she tripped and stumbled down a set of stairs. she scraped her side,
but that's not the only reason why she has that scar- it was reasonably
faded a couple weeks after when she was clawed by an angry female.
the female thought cerys was flirting with her husband- alas, cerys
was not and gaped at the female before walking off and tending to it
at home. this scrape did not fare as well as when she first fell down
the stairs. she woke up the next morning and was disappointed to see
it not healing as well- and decided that she wouldn't try to fix it.
she leaves it there for all to see, and is not ashamed of the assumptions
of another stella. she avoids falling down stairs, however.

yep, not for adoption. this one's a custom for myself, based on my cat, shadow. he passed away a couple years back at age 19, and I like to think he'd have been happy enough to come back as a boo if he had the chance. ;w;

Sooo I was looking through the design suggestions thread and noticed a few requests for gecko based designs, so I looked up "geckos" and found one called a Day gecko. (google it, its cute). After deciding that I wanted to design a Lumi based on that, I happened to whisper to myself the words "green day gecko". And this happened. So Green Day/Day Gecko mashup!

Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a unique breed of pythons that have paint seeping from their tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly smaller than their close cousins, ball pythons, females being around 2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long. Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent, and PTP are no exception. PTP tend to be quite shy when first introduced to their owners, but will warm up quickly and soon become inseparable. PTP have exceptionally long lifespans, and have been known to live for upwards of 60 years.
