Special Event!!
Our mascot, the horse on the front page, is a stallion named Algonquin and has unlimited breeding slots. Our staff has decided on adopting out some mares with a special bonus; they automatically get a breeding slot with Algonquin. In order to get these mares, however, you need to guess one of three possible foal outcomes the artist chooses. If you are the first one to get an outcome right, the mare is yours as well as the foal. Once you get the mare, that outcome you won with is the color of the foal.

Rules

Ω You may only own up to 2 mares.
Ω NO cheating, bribing, guilt tripping, or any of the sort. Any of this would result in an immediate ban from all special events.
Ω Other than that, have fun.

Note: All artists must use this Coat Calculator for both the 3 choices of colors and the contest in general. Algonquin is a Bay Appaloosa. Genetics are EE//Aa//nL.

Canis Concolor, otherwise known as Zvers, are an alien species that were discovered aboard a crashed space ship. Initially believed to be too vicious to tame, humans have begun to form bonds with these strange beasts, despite warnings from government agents who want them rounded up and exterminated. What is a Sima?

Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.

The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.

Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.

The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.

A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

Why;; Cyrus never wants to grow up. No one actually know why Cyrus is PPS, When Vysing Found him, he was just tiny and little and no one knew that he would be PPS. Cyrus actually Really Enjoys Being PPS because he gets spoiled and his Siblings all Take care of him. Cyrus could never really imagine not being PPS, because he likes being small. he uses it to his advantage to climb into small hiding places, and to get into really cool spots that his siblings can't get too. Personality: Cyrus is very very spunky and playful, he loves to just run around and play all day long, His adoptive mother get very tired chasing him around all day. Why ;; Diagnosed late in life, she didn't know it was going to happen until the day it did. Generally speaking, kits are told what's going on when they are recognized as PPS, though Siren didn't demonstrate any characteristics in youth... She was still growing, so everything was completely on track! That is, until the day she just... stopped. None of her family members understood this sudden stunted growth, as it wasn't shown on either side genetically. It turns out that in her teenage years she was out exploring the area near her house when she noticed an open mouthed cave. Curiously she entered, and when she did so, she came into contact with a rare gemstone that induced PPS upon her. Had she known what stone had done it to her, she could reverse the process, though obliviously she hasn't a clue. She took one gemstone with her from the cave and wears it on her person at all times... perhaps that's it? She will never know, nor would she ever think to question it because she holds the gemstone to be an important part of her past, unknowingly tying herself back to it.
Thoughts On PPS ;; Siren despises being small. She has a small frame, and light build... not to mention now that she can't grow any larger or stronger, she gets quite easily annoyed with this being pointed out. She hates when people underestimate her ability just because she's a bit littler than they are, and absolutely hates being referred to as 'kid' or 'squirt', especially considering she's older than most of the people who'd be giving her trouble! Siren loathes being looked down on, and is particularly feisty when it comes to people thinking little of her abilities and efforts, so she strives to be great and strong so people will stop thinking less of her.

First Touch -

I sighed as I sat on the fence, watching Eko greedily devour his bucket of food. Once he was finished, he started stalking around it, grumbling and growling any time a crow came too close. He laid by the bucket, wrapping around it protectively. I hopped off the fence and hit the ground with a small thud. His ears twitched, but he showed no other sign of noticing me. I walked to him slowly, hand held out. "Hey Eko... You haven't been here long, I know, but its okay. You're okay." I spoke softly as I knelt beside him. He uncurled from around the bucket, revealing the damage he'd done, crushing in the sides of it. He sat up, turning his head to face me. He sniffed my hair before plopping his handyfoot on my head. I glanced up, looking at him curiously, trying not to move my head. We sat like that for awhile before he got up and wandered off to do whatever it is he likes to do. He's still a mystery to me.

First Saddle-

What a pig. He stole my apple, just to toss it in the dirt and guard it. He wasn't even eating it! I hissed in annoyance and walked into the arena. Eko grabbed the apple in his teeth and growled at me. I pointed at the saddle, glaring at him. "You stole my apple, now I'm going to saddle you. The crime fits the punishment, so hold still and you can keep the apple." I said to him as I grabbed the saddle off the fence and plopped it on his back. He tightly held the apple in his mouth, still not eating it but refusing to let it go. I fastened the saddle and slipped a halter on him, ignoring his growl of protest to me being too close to "his" apple. I led him around the arena, proud that he was willing to work so easily. After awhile we stopped and I unsaddled him and let him go back to his pasture. He darted in excitedly, running off to bury his prize. I chuckled to myself as I put the saddle and halter away.

First Ride

Eko stood patiently with his saddle on his back. I walked to him and patted his side as he grumbled at me. I kissed his nose and whispered "Shhhh. No rumblie grumblies." to him. He snorted and stood still as I climbed into his saddle. I shifted a bit, getting comfortable in the saddle. "Walk on, Eko." I said as he began to walk around. I pressed my left boot against his side and was pleasantly surprised when he began to turn. "Woah." I said, leaning back abit and giving the reins a gentle tug. He stopped, obediently, though I could hear him start to grumble again. I chuckled as I nudged his sides and said "Walk on." His grumbles quieted as we began to walk again. We worked for an hour before someone showed up and we had to stop.

What are Wilx?
The Wilx (singular: Wilx) are a vaguely canid species found high up in mountainous areas in the wild. As a result, they have evolved to have several physical adaptations for their climates, including thick fur, large lungs, long flexible bodies and tails, heightened senses and their most noticeable feature, their humanoid front paws for better climbing. Wilx have awful vision though, and depend on the thick patches of whisker-like fur on their cheeks to judge distance. Domesticated Wilx come in a great variety of colors and sizes, and are popular for companionship, hunting, home protection due to their heightened physical senses and strong tendency to bond with their human owners. Wilx are about as intelligent as a well trained border collie, and respond very well to human commands.
Wilx are scavengers, and will eat just about everything that they can get their paws on! Wilx owners should watch out for clams, rhubarb and some apple species, which seem to be very common allergens with Wilx.

The rarity of a Wilx is mainly determined by their pupil shape and genetic traits. Common pupils are round, uncommon cat's eyes and rare are horizontal. A round pupiled wilx may be uncommon based on the severity of their line edits and how common those edits may be.

INTRODUCTION
When the blood moon streaked the sky's of the lions home world...many became wary of what was to follow. The civil war was already taxing the lions, but now new unknowns were going to crash land into their lives. Untold powers were inevitable and their intentions beyond unclear. It would nice to say the lions looked forward to the moons gifts....but that would be a fable.
However, their time of worry came and went as the moon began to flash and writhe with power. The moon pulsed with flickering red lights, until it released its untold power. From the rays, 6 pillars fell towards their land. Plummeting faster than light itself and accompanied with a terrible presence. The columns of light crashed down upon the planets surface, screeching loud to announce the presence of a new being...six to be exact. Smoke rose from the point of touch to the planet and the red light began to pulse in rings around the newly seen forms. One by one these lions emerged....and their planet will never be the same.

From the smoke and the light came two shadowy figures, their coats unseen from the blaring glow from the pillars around. The two continued to move forward until their bodies became clear to sight. Twins. Both red and white like the blood of the moon itself. One walked proudly and confident where the other was more cautious and confined. Seemingly contradictory in behavior, but both undeniably beautiful...and deadly.

why?; honestly. I googled quirky boy names. I was going through all of these lists, and when I saw this name I just stopped. for some reason, I saw it as a perfect fit for him. then I rememberd the moves like jagger song by maroon five and that's when i figured out his personality; he is cocky, self-confident, and a total heartbreaker.

I''ve been trying to catch up with Steven Universe, so have a slightly Lion-like Wilx on the new offsite lines!
He'll be the first of a few fandom-related Wilx I'll be doing over the next month or so.

He can store very small objects in his mane, with a limit of seven at any time. If someone tries to stick big things into his mane for storage, they tend to stick out tbh >w>
He is a domesticated wilx, and is very big compared to other domesticated Wilx!
(if you watch SU, He's about Lion-sized, so yea!)

: Morning :
Li loves the morning. Strangely enough, Li picked up some characteristics from cats, such as purring and kneading. Even though he is larger than a regular sized Wilx, and much larger than a cat, every morning he curls up with his cat, Checkers. When they both finally get up, Li makes a breakfast of salmon and biscuits, which Checkers and him share.

: Afternoon :
Let's eat! Wow, Li sure does love fish! For lunch, he usually opens up a couple of tuna cans. Yum! After lunch, Lion goes out to do his tasks, such as shopping and greeting other Wilx's. When he gets back, he curls up in bed with his cat and takes a simple cat nap!

: Night :
Eating. Again. Fish. Again! Yup, Li and Checkers love their fish! This time, they usually eat tilapia. As for dessert, he indulges in his favorite chocolate covered honeycomb! Yum! After dessert, Li washes down and curls into bed. Usually around 11:00 PM, Checkers joins him in peaceful sleep.

: Best Friend :
Li's best friend is Penna. They have been friends since they were little kids and they both have gone through good and bad times. Penna is one of the only people that Li trusts, and the only creature who knows his story!

: Companion :
Lion's companion is his cat Checkers. Checkers is a American Fold-short hair mix, with cute folded ears, a black pelt, and white nose and lips!

ooh thank you! x3 i don't like the flat colored mane and tail without shadeing so i at least want to make strands in it (shadeing every mane and tail would take tooo long) ^^ the trick behind it is actually very easy xD but i like the outcome x3 and i'm happy if others like the look of it too =)

Ferretstep is a feisty cat, knowing quite well that she has something to prove. She's a hairless ex-kittypet who can't hunt well and requires around-the-clock cuddle partners for warmth in winter, and knowing this leaves her in constant fear of being rejected by her beloved clan. Because of this, she tends to overwork herself for simple tasks. As an apprentice, Ferretstep would spend twice as much time sparring and three times as many hours hunting than a typical, clan-born apprentice would do.

This little cat tries her best to be friendly, but she's very sensitive and doesn't take kindly to jabs at her heritage and 'disabilities.' If someone set out to mock her, Ferretstep would first turn to her friends for protection. If that failed, she tends to go into attack mode. Nonviolent solutions are scarce after her friends grow tired of the same arguments day after day, as Ferretstep does not have a lot of self-control. After a fight, she tends to get out of camp and hunt alone for a while, and tends to apologize a few days after a scuffle or argument.

Without a clan, loneliness would hit Ferretstep hard. She has a constant, nagging desire to be around others, which was what caused her to leave her twolegs as a kitten. She has no need to feel accepted, values, or anything more than despised, but without at least one other cat in the den, she'll get very nervous. This hasn't branched out into full-fledged monophobia yet, and has luckily been getting better.

this contest will be an impress me, so make your own form! go all out! go wild! i don't care as long as you follow these guidelines.

guidelines & stuff
- you can change his gender if you'd like! but, yes, his assigned gender is male. i'd prefer the name to stay the same but you can do anything i guess.
- you must include family relationships in your form, but feel free to put in any other relationships.
- feel free to pretty up your form to any extent!
- add anything you want, but as a warning: i have an extremely short attention span and walls of text/stories/large paragraphs aren't my thing at all - i'll probably skip over them.
- if you'd like, you can make your form on a different thread/offsite, but don't make the layout too complicated/hard to follow.

Reaction: She wouldn't approach a human until she had a very great read on them. At first she would watch them for hours, just waiting to see how they act and analyzing how she should approach them. Then, she'd carefully walk up to them quietly sniffing the air and almost stalking them. She'd stop about 6 feet away from the human. If they move too quickly, she will jump back a few feet, they need to extend their hand, and she'll step forward and sniff them, either deciding to trust them or keep her distance. If she decides to trust you she may stand a while longer, but you need to make slow movements and not threaten her in any way. She doesn't like to have something binding her freedom, as she is quite the wild spirit, so she might follow the human for a little while, but if they tried to put a rope or halter on her, she would probably leave and not return. They must earn her trust, it is not freely given.

Potato birbs are related to the ground owl so they live in burrows in the ground, they mostly use their wings to glide and have long tails to wrap themselves with when cold but sometimes they use it for balance because they have fat pudgy bodies shaped like potatoes which is where they mostly get their name, no one is quite sure why, but these birbs always have spots/freckles somewhere on their body there will never be a potato birb without them. A potato birb's natural diet is potatoes, potato chips, potato fries, anything with potatoes in them, they also love all sorts of other foods but potatoes are their main diet and overall they eat a lot. Want to cuddle one in your arms forever?
