What was I doing here? The thought repeated through Conner's head as he nipped on his lip, he knew it had been a bad idea to sign up for this. Well, originally he had thought it was a great dare, a challenge which Danny had given him. Now as he watched the Icelandic tolters running circles around the pen he was left to take in a deep breath while waiting for his number to be called. 'Two thousand and forty one, In pen Six!' The announcers voice came along the line. It was now or never. With another stablehand from Tilting Tolter Ranch, Conner made his way over, spotting the mare who had wild, frightened eyes. With the man telling them to hurry up Conner leaned up just enough to get the wide lasso around the mares head, the others around them clearing the space. "You ready?" Rebekah asked, getting a single nod from Conner before she released the hatch. Surprisingly, for a horse in the mares feral state, she didn't barge out or buck, rather more like side stepped, shying from the loud sound of the announcer. Maybe this won't be so hard afterall...
The thought had no sooner crossed through Conner's head than when the mare let out a loud whinny, charging forward and all but dragging Conner after her at the unexpected movement, only thanks to the help of Mud, their mudi dog and his experience with herding were they even able to get her out into the more quiet area. Even with looking around at others struggling to trailer the horses it made Conner nervous for this, taking a deep breath. "Alright Bec's. You want to handle this one?" He joked, running a nervous hand through his hair, looking from the trailer to the frightened mare. "She's all yours Conner, You thought of a name for this baby yet?" Only shaking his head in reply Conner moved to stand by the door of the trailer. "Needa hand?" Danny asked from the front, the other boys big goofy grin on his lips, clearly finding Conner's situation amusing already, "Just wait till you have to get on her." The other continued, definitely not helping. "Yeah... Why did we even bring you." Conner grumbled, handing one of the ropes to Danny while Rebekah kept ahold of the other one.
While Rebekah and Danny pulled at the rope Conner used a series of whistles for Mud, the dog barking and dodging the occasional kick which the horse give. After what was only five minutes, but seemed oh so much longer the mare was finally contained within the trailer, whether she was happy about it or not. "This is going to be a nightmare." Conner complained, burying his head in his hands as Mud licked his face with a bark, the dog clearly excited over all the adventure today. "Told you you would back out." Danny said in a sing song voice, grinning from ear to ear at his friend already being defeated. Rebekah, on the other hand, wasn't quite so over the moon by Conner's words, even reaching forward to slap the back of his head, "She's a good mare, look at those lot, they are still struggling to get the horses in, she went in easy and didn't give us that much bother. Just think of her running across the field, listening to ev-" Being cut of my Danny's laughter the girl shot a glare at the other man, "Yeah Becca, you know this isn't a fairytale, right? The fairy ain't going to come magically tame the horse." He said in amusement, steering the vehicle around the others and back onto the road, "If the Vikings could tame the icelandics, then so can we." Rebekah said defiantly, Conner just looking between the two, "I think I know what I am going to call her now..." Glancing out the back window in thought he smiled a little at the other two in the cars raised eyebrows, "Vikings Fae. Because your right, the Fairy's aren't going to help us and the Vikings, well we should take a sheet from their book." Conner finished with a light shrug, "That, is a terri-" It was Rebekah's turn to roughly elbow Danny in the ribs, "Perfect name for a soon to be, perfect horse." The girl finished with a smile, reaching forward to turn the radio on before Danny could say anything else.

The first day of bringing Fae home they had discovered one thing about the mare very quickly, she hated to be alone. For this reason they placed her in with Pearls Desire, the other Smoky Cream Appaloosa proving to have a similar personality to the one Vikings Fae had been showing. From her more gentle approach to things, to her seemingly sensitive nature the mares seemed to hit it off instantly. To ensure the mare settled in with as much ease as possible and since by the time they had made it home it had been night already the pair had been left, under the watchful eyes of the staff, who continued with their usual nightly routine of checking on each horse.
Now it was the next morning, Conner being awoken by the sound of talking from beneath his hayloft room which he shared with Danny, opening a eye it was no surprise to see the other boy still fast asleep on his own makeshift bed, groaning at having to get up by himself. In record timing Conner was up, washed, dressed and down in the yard ready for his day of work, only today when he went to lift the bucket the owner of the ranch, Trigen put a hand on his shoulder. "My boy, you should be out taming that new mare of yours, not in here filling buckets." The man said with a surprising amount of ease. Well, considering Conner -with the thanks of Danny of course- had gotten the horse in Tilting Tolter ranches name without even asking the boss first, he had expected at least a bit of yelling. Infact, even now he just stood there, waiting for the man to tell him the catch. It came, as it was supposed to. "Afterall, we want to see you riding her out on the trails with us in two weeks time, would hate for you to miss our camping trip." Conner was sure his jaw hit the floor as he tried to find the words, tried to find an excuse or anything to get himself out of it. He failed, and therefore was just left walking towards where Fae and Pearl stood, Pearl at the fence with Fae standing more wearily behind the mare who was of a similar age. "Hey girls." Conner murmured in a gentle tone, digging in his pocket for the remains of some sugar cubes, holding them out to Pearl who didn't hesitate to lick his hand clean as Fae watched, the new mare nudging into Pearl's rump. The second Conner leaned over the fence further though she took off across the field, flicking her tail and only stopping once at the far fence, even then trotting the length of it in the search of a way out.

An hour or so passed of Conner approaching and backing away from Fae, each time setting down a small handful of oats which the mare took only when he was away. Eventually though, while standing facing Pearl Conner felt a nudge to his back, a slight grin pulling on his lips as very slowly he turned around, the mare backstepping with a toss of her mane, clearly on debate of if the oats being offered were worth it or not... Without missing a beat, Vikings Fae leaned over to take them from his hand, and even if she did move away again afterwards, it still made Conner smile at knowing they were already making progress together. There was a lot more which still needed done but for now he was happy to leave her for a few hours before introducing her to a halter.

Zayn is as dark in his soul as he is on the exterior. He doesn't care for your 'sins are bad' speeches, they mean nothing to this guy, for he's too far gone in the sinful world it's not funny. Now, naturally other Plumerians will be wary around him just from his look, but it's actually smart of them to feel that way. Zayn is untrustworthy as anyone could be, better not tell your secrets or lean your life on this one here, it won't end well for you. But those aren't the only attributes he has. In his sprouts of good moods, he is arrogant and often acts haughty. He looks down on other plumerians with a cold look in his eye, as if he was the superior of superiors.

To most others, he is unloving and a void of any soft feelings. Zayn is selfish, pairing along with his arrogance and untrustworthiness, so don't expect much 'I won't let you go' attitude from him! This brute is strong in both a mental sense and a physical one. He has an extreme barrier in his mind to block out weak feelings such as guilt and fear. But what about love? It has in fact bombarded its way through his barrier as a child, twice now actually. Anyway, Zayn's physical endurance, strength and size is ramped up, more than the average Plumerian. So picking a fight will not be so wise. So now it's fairly obvious this fellow has quite the fiery attitude on him, though fierce might just be an understatement...and god knows you better plug your ears. 'Morals' don't exist in his world. So if you don't want to hear the amount of swear and curse that will spill from his mouth. You better get a wriggle on~

In his bad moods, it is a highly good idea in your own best interest to avoid him, simply because of the anger he might have. He gets downright bloodthirsty. Terminating anything in path...including the unsuspecting souls of his own kind. However, there is also a different side to Zayn. Somewhere under the arrogant and cold shields is a core of loneliness. He doesn't know how to stop who or the way he is, but he just wishes there was someone who could understand him. A lover even... As much as he yearns for a significant other, he seems to not have enough patience for it. For any patience he might have will just wear thin and snap... Just like your neck.

halter; I don't know how to explain this, but could you do something dark and foreboding with a dark red and black-ish (#121212)? His personality is going to be something a tad unstable like my boy Asura's, something that just is completely off considering his parents' personalities.

It seems to her that everyone is always asking her to do some pointless, time-wasting task she doesn't care about, therefore, she tries to work alone whenever she can.
Why she loves water:
Abyssine loves water because not only does it cool her off when she's angry, but it makes her feel like she's a different, more peaceful and gentle, entity. She also feels that being in water will help her connect more to her job as a marine biologist, and that it helps her relieve stress by separating herself from the world above.

Ennui (Hypnos) is insanely clever, especially when it comes to machines. That's not saying much, since all of his race enjoy machines, but Ennui prefers getting up and close to the human contraptions and tearing them apart, piece by piece. He doesn't dare venture out too far from his home territory, only doing such when a human gets too close for his liking. That can serve as a problem, as he's picked his home to be a run-down factory on the outskirts of a growing forest.

Ennui enjoys observing the humans almost as much as he likes tricking them, yet this can be a tricky task for him. He's avoided complete detection so far, however there is a rumor going around that there's a green, glowing energy haunting his factory! Don't fret, as this is the only part of him that's ever been glimpsed - his tail.

How did he come upon his new home?:
Ennui used to travel with a female Enerro, a truly brilliant girl. She was respected by the few who were lucky enough to know her. Clever and tricky even among the Enerro, Ennui was her closest friend. He had a certain fondness for her that she would never admit. She was a leader of a pack of sorts, her being the only female. There's a reason Enerro don't form packs, and theirs was a prime example of it. They spent all their time playing pranks on each other, and among the males, aggression and spite began to grow. They had settled in a long abandoned human city, which may not have been as abandonded as they had originally thought. Between the fighting, pranking, and everything else the humans had become aware of their presence. Painfuly so. Ennui was among the worst of the males, and (without going too much into detail) it nearly got his best friend killed. They never saw eye to eye after that, so when she left, it didn't come much to a surprise to him. The rest of the males slowly dispersed, but Ennui could never bring himself to leave his home.

Parrapups, or Parras, are an omnivorous, aviary quadrupedal species that originated from tropical areas, but after they were domesticated, they gained more levels of fur and different beaks. All parras spend a lot of time cleaning themselves, and preening their feathers if they have wings. Parras come with a variety of tails and beaks, but good luck finding one that does! Having a large gene pool Parras also have the chance to show some mutations. They come in a large variety of colors including bright neons and dull greys. All parras are a very social in some way and love to whistle, sing, and chatter to others- Parra or not!

Our First encounter;;

This is told from the perspective of Ariel, a horse expert working at Snowfall stables

I stood outside the paddock. Inside was a beautiful Palomino mare. She was a wild tolter the owner of the stables had recently purchased, and it was my job to help tame her. I've only been working here for a few months, but I've worked with horses all my life. I'm confident I'll be able to tame her, but it’s definitely going to take some work. She looks quite spirited, trotting around the pasture. I watch as she takes notice of me for the first time and cautiously begins to come in my direction. She seems quite curious, which is a good sign. She stops a few yards away from the fence and stares at me. “Nice to meet you" I whisper quietly. "What's your name pretty lady?”. I've been told I get to name her, as taming her is my responsibility. She snorts as if she is answering me. "What about something with moon in it?" I murmur, trying not to startle her. She is starting to wander away now, losing interest in me. I watch as she heads to the other side of the paddock. "Moony" I say, smiling after her. "I'm going to call you Moony".
