Writing: Miles has a new-found project it seems. The other day, he approached me with a small shovel in paw and a bucket over his head as a helmet declaring "MAKE WAY! This is now an excavation site!"
So of course I had to ask just what he was doing. He eagerly told me about his new "scientific venture", and how he was going to dig up soil samples and test them for "strange and abnormal tastes". I gently reminded him not to eat dirt, and asked him why he felt this was neccessary.
Apparently, Shirl had mentioned that there was something different about the grass and soil... something "strange, unusual and new." I'm not sure what that means, but that Sprigon always seemed to have a sixth sense for these kinds of things. And if Miles was invested in this investigation, someone would need to make sure he didn't get carried away.
So this week Miles and I are going to do a little digging together. I even bought a few new "scientific" tools for us to play with. Even if nothing comes out of it, I know Miles will have a good time. He has invited some of the other yard critters to join him. So I'm about to have my hands full this week...

If there are any other sprigon friends in the deep depths? Bug and hare never saw any other element sprigons other than sky. "Do you think there would be someone new to play with us in the waters?" asked hare to bug. "I bet! maybe if i find the end of my tail we can use that as a fishing line" Bug jokingly said and giggled. Hare could only roll thir eyes and smile at bug. They both continued to hover over the waters to attemt to spot anything new!

“Oh, you know. Just waiting to see if one of those Veil cats decides to cross so we can show ‘em what for.” Deep Blue replied, giving a flick of his tail in an attempt to seem tough. This answer seemed to placate Trident, and the calico tom headed back toward the shipwreck they called camp.

Deep Blue didn’t exactly LIKE lying to his groupmates, but the real reason he was looking at the border was something else entirely - one he knew that Siren’s Gale would flay him for if she found out. (Or would she? Considering what she’d ordered to have done a moon or so ago…)
Lying within the territory of the Veil was the only elder within the island, Wilson - Deep Blue would never admit it to the Galleon, but he was always overjoyed when the old man offered to tell him about what was written in the book he had in his cozy little den. Very few of the island cats had the capability to understand human texts, with only two cats being capable of doing so (and one of them being.. Kind of weird, now that Deep Blue thought about it.), so any time he got to spend with the orange tabby was a real treat. He was happy to keep the elder company in exchange for this service, and he wouldn’t trade it for the world.

One day, Raynie was fishing in a river. She swam and ducked against the current of the water when she saw a familiar pattern. A VERY familiar pattern. She swam up to the large fish, who seemed undisturbed by her presence, and Raynie inspected the fish. Its colors and patterns were almost identical to her own. In shock, Raynie stopped moving and began to drift backwards, with the current. What did this mean? Was it always written in the stars that Raynie was meant to be a fisherwoman? Or was she some sort of mutant sprigon-fish hybrid who actively terrorized her own people? If she ever did eat fish, would she be a cannibal? Thinking on these things, Raynie forgot to watch where she was going. She hit her head against a rock, and all was dark for a few minutes. When she came to, Raynie had forgotten her encounter with the rainbow trout.

• Overo can be bred together in Range Trotters! If the rolled outcome is OO, the foal will not be made but the slots will not be used either. The two horses used will be placed on a three day cooldown, after which the request can be rerolled or it can be scratched altogether. Again, if rolled OO the breeding will not be completed, but the slots return to the requester!

• If twins are rolled in a double overo breeding, but one rolls OO only one foal will be made and the other foal deemed LWO. If both are rolled OO, please see the above rule to proceed.

• Rules are subject to addition, alteration or removal at any given time.


• Artists are encouraged to order breedings from others, but may create personal breedings so long as another staff member rolls the breeding, or it is seen being rolled via stream.

• Personal breedings are not required to be posted on this thread, you may simply have them rolled and begin working on them.

• Artists may make their own WDO breedings if they prefer. They are still limited at two, but they may create both per month if there is no one available to accept it, or if they prefer to create their own breedings.
