General Rules

- Do not steal this species, or claim it as your own.
- Do not complain or whine.
- Respect all staff and members.
- Please do not spam the thread.
- No bribing artists.
- Follow all CS rules.
- If you are added to a bread cat you won, you may only change the background and add accessories. No line edits or design changes.
- Do not insult any artists creations.
- You may gift/trade a bread cat you have won, but please post it somewhere so people know.
- Have fun. <3

Artist Rules
- All artists may create a custom for themselves.
- Artists may still enter to win other artists bread cats.
- Keep your designs appropriate.
- Please correctly number the adopts.
- Not too blinding of colors for the main body, accents are ok.
- Minor line changes are fine.
- If you create a baby/child bread cat for adoption, and the person who won it wants you to grow it (after the certain number of days), you need to do it for them. [unless pps] If you don't have enough time to do it, ask another artist if they could.
- For the most part, keep more natural-looking bread. Like white bread, whole wheat, raisin bread, adding jam, that kind of thing. Colored bread is perfectly fine to do, just not constantly.

Thread rules:
- No spamming, swearing, begging or guilt trips
- Do not steal a horse or pony that doesn't belong to you
- You are not allowed to sell these horses in any way

Breeding rules:
- Every horse or pony has 10 breeding slots
- You cannot cross-breed; the parents must be of the same breed
- If you want to breed with another member's horse or pony, you must get their permission first
- Guilt trips for extra breeding slots won't get you anywhere

Adoption rules:
- Once you adopt a horse or pony, you cannot give it back or gift it to someone
- Do not beg for a horse or pony, I will just give you a strike
- Don't be mad if you don't win a horse or pony, the winner is chosen with a generator
- No reservations, you must fill in your adoption form straight away
- Incomplete forums will not be counted
- You must be a member before adopting
- Horses who have a background have been adopted

Kulvexes are large, wolf-fox-like creatures adapted to suit the mountain and coastal range they called their home.
The Alpine Kulvexes are easily recognizable by their long, spiky mane that grows in the opposite direction as their body fur would.
Unlike their cousin, they mainly rely on their speed, rather than flight, to feed themselves.
The Coastal Kulvex are very similar to the alpines, except for their long dragon like bodies and the lack of manes.
They are very agile in the air and rarely land on the ground except when they need some rest.
Every Kulvex possesses a unique set of horns, though it is not uncommon to see an individual without one.
Although they aren't easily tamed, once they form a bond with their handlers, they can be very protective and loyal.

• what is a mallow dog?
Mallow dogs are really just chubby, over-glorified, poofy dogs with stubby legs. Nothing more really.

• origin of mallow dogs
A woman and her daughter were out camping in the woods when they heard a rustling in the bushes. Out came a tiny, but fluffy, puppy-like creature - not something you'd really expect lurking deep in the woods. It came over to the campers and used its adorable charm and floof to convince them to give it all of their food. Once the food was gone, the creature disappeared without a trace. The daughter told the story to her classmates and dubbed the creature a " mah-'mallow doggie" after its puffy marshmallow-like fur (and the fact that it scarfed down all the marshmallows her mother brought). Thus, the mallow dog was born.

Mallow dogs are short, chubby, and tiny - but they have an insatiable appetite. Their size is about the same as the average puppy; it is unknown if they ever grow any larger or smaller. They have soft, puffy fur around the neck and chest area as well as a poofy tail that curls upward slightly. Their ears are slightly drooped and their eyes are small and bright. Mallow dogs move by making quick little jumps due to their incredibly short and stubby legs.

Not much is known about mallow dogs' behavior, however one thing is evident: they absolutely love to eat. They will eat all the food they can find. Strangely enough, they never gain more than their standard weight despite how much food they eat in one sitting. It is believed that their favorite food is marshmallows. They are often found stealing food from unsuspecting campers and should be treated as a threat greater than bears or mountain lions.

Hamicorns are the size of dwarf hamsters! Hamircorns are extremely small and can fit in the palm of a person's hand!

✰ What colors do they come in?
Hamicorns can come in any color! However, they most commonly come in bright, light colors!

✰ Personality
Hamicorns' personalities range. They are usually friendly, curious, and cheery little guys, but it isn't uncommon to come across a grumpy little one.

✰ Wings
Some hamicorns have wings, while others do not.

✰ Mane
All hamicorns have mane!

✰ Horns
Some hamicorns have horns, while others do not.

✰ Breeding
Hamicorns can have one or two pups per litter. Hamicorn pups are not born with horns; if a hamicorn has a horn, it will grow and show during its adult stage. One hamicorn of any gender and another hamicorn of any gender can breed together!

Hamicorns are completely vegetarians! They eat fruit, greens, and vegetables!

What are Avixian Wolves?

Avixian Wolves (Avixes for short) are special type of wolf, only found in deep forests. They are mixture of a wolf, fox, and an unknown animal that is believed to have several variants. They are the size of a wolf and have a sleek and skinny build that allows them to run very fast.

Rules are subject to change~

-At the moment, you can't request customs. Please do not ask for one.

-If you don't want your Avix anymore, please PM me!

-Going along with the statement above, selling and/or trading Avixes are not allowed.

-Chicaa and I will try to make sure that you know if your Avix has the same name as another one.
If you want to name your Avix a name that another one already has, you'll need to get it okay'd
by the person who owns the other Avix.

-You may own 8 Avixian Wolves for now. Staff may own 9.

-If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

It's not incredibly hard to fix, but I will have to make a new thread. It should be up sometime this week, and we'll continue making Avixes where we left off. The fanclub and acrchives will stay the same, and the current designs will of course, stay. The new thread will have the same lines so there is no need for them to be recolored on the new thread.

There will be one last design on this thread, the one I made on the cover.

Avixes will be on hold for a bit until I get things fixed.

So, what are Shinos, exactly?
Shinos were very recently discovered by explorers in Verkhoyansk, Russia. They were found in a forest, far away from any civilization. When they explorers saw the Shinos, they thought that they were some kind of cat. When they came closer, however, they found out that they were something much, much, different.
They had the build and pointed ears of a cat, the back legs of a small dog, along with antlers and the nose of a reindeer. They stood about 3 feet tall at the shoulder. That's not all, though. Around their necks, all of the Shinos had a necklace with a bottle on it, which always seemed to hold some sort of strange, bright coloured liquid. Their tails had a glowing aura around them which always matched the colour of the liquid in their necklace, and it seemed as if they couldn't live without their necklaces.
Research proved that fact was true. Scientists found out that, somehow, the colourful liquid gave the Shinos life. The aura around their tail was caused by the liquid, making the aura another sign that the Shino was alive. Over time, as the scientists found out, the liquid would slowly drain, and the aura would get dimmer, signaling that the Shino's time would come soon.
It has been found that the Shinos make great pets, and are great friends to have. Since they were discovered, they've been breeding more, which caused them to somewhat overpopulate. They're being sent out to special adoption agencies all over the world, and this is one of the many. You can own your very own Shino today, just fill out an adoption form, and you have a chance to get one!

All Shinos have different rarities. Here is how to tell how rare your Shino is.

Very Common;; Long tails, regular sized ears, natural colours, orange or purple liquid in their bottle, small antlers.

Common;; Medium sized tails, bright coloured fur, speckled fur, freckles, yellow or green liquid in their bottle.

Uncommon;; Large ears, unnatural coloured fur, red, blue, or turquoise liquid in the bottle, medium sized antlers.

Rare;; Small ears, very unnatural coloured fur, any neon coloured liquid in the bottle, horns.

Very Rare;; Stub tails, large antlers, white fur, mixed coloured liquid in their bottle.

When Shinos breed, they are mates for life. Any two genders of Shinos can breed. A pair of Shinos can breed once every two months, and they can breed four times max. A litter of baby Shinos, or Shis, will consist of one to three kits. To breed your Shino, please go to the nursery and fill out a form, and the staff will get started on a litter right away. If you would like to breed your Shino with someone else's Shino, you must PM them to have their permission. Once you do, please forward the PMs to madness, to assure that you have permission, and then you may breed the Shinos together. Have fun breeding!

The horses in Zodiac Stables eat hay (mostly alfalfa), oats with a mixture of beet-pulp. Other than that, theses horses must get star dust. A substance that is like calcium to them. Makes their bones nice and strong because they are actually weak without it.

These horses have naturally occurring coat colors {EX: Black, bay, grey} BUT naturally occurring patterns and markings are seen every once and while for these horses can have any pattern and marking on their pelt.
Each horse also has a symbol for their zodiac.
{EX: A Scorpio horse has ♏ on it}

A horse's mane and tail is made out of the same fiber as your finger nails and your own hair, but the horses in this stable, their manes and tails are made of gases compacted to together. Almost like a nebula forming a planet. That is why their hair is so shinny!
It is every uncommon for a horse to have a mane and tail to stay in a gas form.

There are different types of rarities! Normal, Common, Rare, and Royalty.

Any hair style excluding gas hair.
No horns, no wings.
Takes the appearance of a "Real life horse". No traits, but will still have their zodiac marking.

Any hair style excluding gas hair.
They can have any type of horn, and they may have wings.
They will have their traits and will have their zodiac markings.

Any hair style including gas hair.
Can have any type of horn, including custom. Wings are always on rares.
They will have their traits and their zodiac markings.

Any hair style including gas hair and custom hair.
Can have any type of horn, including custom. Wings are always on Royalty.
They will have their traits, but more advanced and they may have several different zodiacs located on the body.

They are the "Lesser" type of horse on Zodiac Stables. They normally are half of another animal. Sub type can range from any other species and they can be mixed with up to 5 different animals. Sub type will not have any Zodiac traits and no horns and wings, unless they are mixed with something that does! Rarities do not apply to Sub type.

They are considered "Lesser" because Chimeras in Greek Mythology are strong, deadly foes.

Though these beautiful creatures look like felines they are closely related to wolves. They hunt and travel through there snowy home in packs and can make quite the foe. Their beautiful feathers are used for identification and to help others in their pack to locate them in they're mountain home.

100 unique, one of a kind adopts

hello, and welcome to the pier.
i wanted to make some adopts, but don't want to be restrained with one species. thus, the pier was born.

here, you can get "boats" (adopts). each boat has a unique "model" (species) and design. sometimes there will be "ships" (multiple adopts in one post.) sometimes you can only buy boats, but most here are free.
right now, there will only be 100 boats released from the dock, but if the pier becomes popular, i might add more.

i'm planning on being the only artist, but it would be really helpful to get a mod and an archivist. i may open guest artist positions up in the future.

Hello and welcome to Pine Forest Stables. Here we rescue horses and put them up for adoption! You can breed your horses, buy accessories for you horses and enter competitions to win free horses and items! Which horse will be right for you?

Horse Breeds

We have many breeds here including the: Boer Pony, Curly, Mustang, Clydesdale, Arabian, Spanish, Paint Horse, Thoroughbred and the Akhal - Teke. Let's not forget the bouncing foals and the very rare Fjords too!

Breeding

You can breed your horses, but there are a few things to take note of when breeding:

1) No cross - breeding horse breeds
2) Only breed your horse once a week
3) It is optional if you want your foals to grow. Once you've bred your horses and I've designed the foal, just tell me if you would like it to grow into an adult. It takes a week for foals to grow.
4) You can breed your own horses. If you want to breed with someone else's you must ask them first.
5) Breeding is free.

Take note before adopting:

1) Adopting a horse is totally free, but you can buy them items from the store if you wish.
2) You must be a member before adopting.
3) Only adopt 2 horses a day. That does not count for a mare and foal. If a mare is with a foal, that counts as 1.
4) Be kind if you don't win the horse you wanted, they'll be a second chance.

Store

This is the store. Here you can buy things for your horses in exchange for Hoof Prints. Hoof Prints are gained by CS pets. This is optional, if you don't want to buy anything, then look out in the competition page to make sure you don't miss a chance to get any free items / horses.

WHAT IS A WOLFIECAT?
A wolfiecat is a big creature, with the size of a wolf, sense of smell like a wolf, hearing like a cat, and eyes like cats.
They have messy fur because they love to play around and hunt their pray every day and have no time to clean their fur in the morning. They have attributes of both a cat and a wolf. They are cute and cuddly to their owners only. To others, they will be protective of their owner.

If you adopt them, be careful with them because they are mean to you if you are mean to them. They will love you no matter what.

Our History

We fought for our land. Some too hard,but all losing everything. After our numbers started crashing, we all ran to the valley, and hid like cowards. But... it was like we knew we were waiting for something. Something to save our home, some glimmer of hope somewhere from the dark. Then... He came. "Hahaha~ Hello there friend!" He didn't look like any of the lions we knew. But something told us we would never be the same after meeting him. He handed us a vial of his voodoo and told us "If you really wish to save your home, you all should partake in this, but I warn. Once you drink it, there is no going back. But there is only new beginning.~" Though his appearance was unsettling. What position could we really have to say no. We were hunted down to despicable numbers. So we took part in the ritual. When we came to in the morning. We felt stronger, more capable. And more alive. The Doctor's howling roar echoed over the valley. It felt as powerful as we felt and full of the same vigor. We roared and howled as well. We will keep fighting. And spreading this power for the good of our land. The Juymara Pride will grow and save our fellow beasts. And we will conquer the destroyers. Our planet depends on it.. On us.

Rules

This is a closed species you are not allowed to: recreate the species, make your own, sell the species, trade the species, or claim this as your own species.
If you own a Juymara Pride member, you can only trade them with other people who own one. And you must let us know when you plan to trade them so we can keep track in the archives.
You are not allowed to breed your own Juymara. You are not allowed to use the designs on other animals. Only use it on the Juymara you own.
You are not allowed to change the design. This includes: add things such as wings, extra horns, fur tuffs, or changing the colors, design of the fur, and ect.
Listen to the mods. If you are unsure about anything, ask on the page.
If you take your character off site you must link back here and credit me.
IF YOU BREAK THE RULES YOU WILL BE PUT ON PROBATION. IF YOU BREAK THEM TWICE YOU WILL BE BANNED AND YOUR JUYMARA TAKEN.

Akita Dragons started as scientific vision, but quickly grew into a species of their own. Taking genes from Akitas, and dragons they were born. They're the size of a large dog, but their diet consists of meat and vegetables, though some will eat dog food. The females can be identified with flowers on their horn, but the males have dust flying around their horns. They are very untrusting creatures, could you win their trust?

Akita dragons tend to lurk in the woods, staying close to their group. They usually live in groups until they find a mate, once they have found a mate they go off on their own to begin their own group and the circle continues. Often male Akita Dragons fight for females, leaving some wounded, or even dead. Female Akita Dragons let their flower petals fall to the ground when they are ready for a mate, usually once they find a mate they stay with them for life, unless something happens.

A Jekinto, or commonly called a Kinto, is a small wolf like creature.
Jekinto's have long dragon like tails, large amounts of fluff, long
ears and a long muzzle. The strangest aspect of a Jekinto is the fiery bubbles that burst
from small holes in their back. Jekinto's are cold blooded, and this helps to keep them
warm. Like a Jekinto's fur, these fiery bubbles can come in many different colours...
sometimes even sizes. Jekinto's are most commonly found sleeping in fires. It
is heard that fire is the Jekinto's elemental haven. Jekintos mate for life and
are capable of reproducing regardless of gender. They can have all sorts of mutations
and that adds to the mystery of them. Jekinto's are naturally suspicious of humans,
but once you let one sleep in your fireplace, you're friends for life.

1. Do not steal someone else's Jekinto.

2. No whining to or begging to staff for a Kinto.

3. Please be respectful to staff, and other members of the community.

4. Please do not ask for a staff position as we will get to those sort of things later.

5. You may own up to 4 Kintos for now, permanent staff may own 5.
[Permanent staff are allowed 2 customs of any rarity for themselves for now,
guest artists are allowed 1 uncommon/common custom.]

6. You may of course gift, trade, or put your Kinto up for readoption,
just contact the artist beforehand.

7. Please try not to spam this thread/the fanclub.

8. Do not remove the signatures or claim the species as your own.
[The lineart sketch was made by the ever so lovely Sorai and
species concept and lineart was made by calypso..]

9. Please do not create your own Jekinto as they are a closed species,
with that said, do not hassle staff to make more if there are none available.

10. Anyone found breaking these rules will be issued strikes

Common
Common Kintos have no edits whatsoever. Their fire
bubbles are average size, they have regular vents, ect.

Uncommon
Uncommon Kintos have minor edits such as hair or horns plus they
have fire bubble edits. These fire edits can be larger/smaller fireballs
or streaks/glows to their fire.

Rare
Rare Kintos have oddly shaped fireballs such as hearts, stars, ect.

Very Rare
Very rare kintos are normally going to be '100' Kintos. They can
have massive lineart edits and their fireballs/vents and you will probably know
when you see one.

Quick question! What's a guest artist?
A guest artist is a temporary artist that has the potential to become a full time Jekinto artist. Not everyone will get a GA spot, and not all GAs are promised a full time artist spot. GA applications will open at random intervals depending on how fast new adopts are being put out, if we need more artists at a time we'll call in more. GAs are not permanent staff. Feel free to ask any other questions.
