What is a Zephi?
Zephinas, or Zephis for short, are large feline-like creatures that roam large wooded areas and the tundra. They come in mostly un-natural colors and always have swirl-like patterns on the back legs and flank. Once or twice a month though, a rarer Zephi is found. This Zephi is natural with un-natural colored swirls. Zephinas can grow to the size of a large tiger, but more times than often, they never get larger than a mountain lion.

The Imperial Charger is a horse breed originating in Havenbridge. The breed's conformation resembles that of a light draft horse and Friesians, and Imperial Chargers are graceful and nimble for their size. Imperial Chargers are used as both showmanship horses and war horses. They get their distinctive collar when they turn a year of age. These collars contain a gem that matches their eye color and represents their temperament. They participate in many events including jousting, dressage, and showmanship. They are deeply loyal mounts and only bond to one or two individuals.

Welcome to the First Annual Yearling Training Event! This event is geared towards welcoming new people into the community and getting them set up with the basics of Imperial Chargers but all members are welcomed to participate. You will receive a year old Charger to take care of and train. You will have 3 months to complete these tasks gaining rewards along the way. When all tasks are completed you will have a Charger that is competition ready. If you do not complete all of the tasks in the 3 months you will still be able to keep your Charger however you will only gain the rewards for the tasks completed in full. The Chargers will be randomly assigned to participants and will come with 1 Skill and 1 Fear/Vice that you must work with during their training. Each Artist will also be creating one 'Expert' Charger. These are older Chargers that have been fully trained in their discipline of choice [one for each discipline] and can be used in stories or art as mentors or extras for your Yearling's training posts.

Sign Ups for the event start on July 1st and will run for two weeks. To sign up to enter the event please fill out the form below. If you do not sign up within the 2 week period I cannot guarantee that a Yearling will be created in time for you to complete the event as there will be no extensions. On July 15th official sign ups will be closed and all users will be paired with a Charger. From there the participants will have 3 months to complete the assigned tasks. If by the end of the event there are Yearlings who have gone unclaimed [No post on the thread, Unnamed, and no contact to the artist/staff about keeping them] they will be put up for readopting.

A wolfiecat is a big creature, with the size of a wolf, sense of smell like a wolf, hearing like a cat, and eyes like cats.
They have messy fur because they love to play around and hunt their pray every day and have no time to clean their fur in the morning. They have attributes of both a cat and a wolf. They are cute and cuddly to their owners only. To others, they will be protective of their owner.


If you adopt them, be careful with them because they are mean to you if you are mean to them. They will love you no matter what.

A Foxerfly is a fox-like creature that is rather small; about the size of a house cat. Their very unique feature is the pair of wings on their back that allows them to fly unlike any other four-legged being. There are three different types of wings of a Foxerfly that resemble wings of insects. Butterfly, Dragonfly, Bee, Moth and Wasp.

Their diet consists of everything a normal fox would eat; berries, eggs, small rodents, fruit, and they may chew on your veggie garden! They are shy and extremely secretive among creatures of different kinds, so they are not seen often.
They are super friendly and adorably lovable, so give them all your love and lots of cuddles!
Be nice to your Foxerfly; they will only choose the one right for them.

Welcome all you loyal and loving Foxerfly owners! Here is the wonderful place where your little love-birds can bring their newborn kits into the world. It's always an amazing feeling when somebody has a baby, so now your Foxerflies have a chance at doing just that! Step into the Nursery and plan your newborn welcome.

- Don't breed with a Foxerfly that isn't yours without permission

Physical Characteristics
A Siberian Purlhound is a sighthound originating from regions of Russia, but are now widely bred around the world. It is thought by some that the hounds originate from an ancient cross between a borzoi and a mixed breed dog, similar to a saluki. Although the curled "purl" tail (akin to a zebra or lion which is characteristic of these sighthounds) suggest that they have a common ancestor with the borzoi, rather than being a descendant of the breed.

Aside from their spitz-like curled tails, the other distinctive characteristic of the Purlhound is their silky fringe which even the smooth variety will show. This same soft hair makes up the downy manes of rough, maned smooth and feathered Purlhounds. These "manes" consist of a line of hair running alone the neck and underbelly of the dogs. Male Purlhounds are generally a lot larger than the females, although females are known for their swift movements and speed over the opposite gender. Purlhounds can exhibit any colour that a dog can be in theory but, similar to borzois, Purlhounds will always have some white on them. The percentage of their fur covered by the colour varies from simple white spotting to harlequin.

Purlhounds are separated into four groups.



Smooth



Smooth Purlhounds are one of the newest additions to the breed, the thick mane bred out of the hounds to make it more efficient in herding cattle and running through thick undergrowth. Sharing the quick speed and agility of its cousin the Borzoi, a lot of farmers prize a smooth Purlhound as the leader of their agricultural "pack".

Maned Smooth



Rarely used for hunting, these hounds have been specifically bred to keep their mane, but lose the thicker fur on the rest of their body. Commonly, they are shown, and there are numerous pedigree lines of maned smooths around the world.

Feathered



This variety of Purlhounds are what you could call the original ones. Before extensive selective breeding within the breed, the feathered Purlhound is what the dog looked like. Having a fairly mellow yet playful temprement, the feathered variety usually isn't shown or used in hunting but, in western countries especially, are used to make superb house pets.

Rough



Rough Purlhounds are the rarest form. There are very few distributed across the world and all are highly valued. Some of them are shown at high profile dog shows and are one of the only dogs that will win over a maned smooth Purlhound. However, when bred it is very rare that they will pass on the rough fur gene.
