Welcome to the Irish Elk Chibi's (also known as ICE's) Tabs going to archives, fan club, and ask.fm for questions needing to be asked will be added when made. Also please be wary of the stags as they are very aggressive when defending their territories and the does as they protect their fawns.

Their history can be traced back to the ice age some thought to be extinct about 7000 years ago. Until recently many didn't think they could be brought back but with the help of using horse DNA and the red deer as well as American elk DNA together they were able to get both size and design close to the original with some help of the DNA strands recovered from dig sites. The name came from the first discoveries in Ireland even though they had been found to have roam much of Europe.

The Irish Elks roam the highlands and mountains in spring and summer traveling to lower regions when the temperature cools as they were made to have less fur then when they might have had during the ice age. They are grazers and thus on the move much like horses they graze on both grasses and plants. Males sport great antlers and much heavier coats then their female counter points and the females though made of a slighter build still have enough bulk to cause damage.

1. Don't beg (meaning I or the artists making will get to the design if it takes longer then normal message me and I will look into it)

2. Closed species so don't make any that aren't yours to make (no fakes those are for artist contests only)

3. Limit will be 10 doesn't include fawns (customs may or may not fall under this depending on how out of control it might get) This is to allow artists to not get burned out and will change when more have been added to the team.

4. Can only win two a day.

5.Please do not spam, be rude to staff or others, or argue. What I say or those I ask to mod say goes if I think something is unfair I will step in. If I don't catch it you more then welcome to send a me a note but don't harass people in the public forums

6.There is only six slots for breeding allowed so choose wisely in the future there may be more but until then only six.

7. You may not sell your ICE's and trading must be brought to my attention along with said artist after I have given the go ahead for it. If you are not sure you may let us choose who it gets readopted out too. Also, there may in the future to keep with store some readoption events so keep a look out.

8. Don't beg for slots from the group's herd (they will have more slots yes, but they are more as gifts for those that earn it)

9. Before it gets lost, please keep requests for breeding slots to ims/fanclub/ and possibly streams (last one iffy) and to go with this one after being made whether a starter or breeding will take up to two weeks before being allowed to breed.

10. they may be breed two weeks after being made this applies to both starters and fawns

Sherpis are playful, light hearted creatures. Despite being friendly its very rare to be approached by one, preferring to hide in their environment. They have hollow bones making them quite light and able to glide or float from one tree to another. This makes rumors of them being to fly very common but very few can. They have a flat large bone in there tail to help propel and balance them while gliding. The horns on their heads may resemable ears at first glance but they are not. Their ears are similar to owls and are hidden under their fur. Horns are used in nonverbal communication. Expressing intense feelings such as sadness, excitment, or anger, by glowing. It is very difficult for a sherpi to control their horns glow. The normal form of communication is chirping, purring, chittering, although when stressed some sherpis lose the ability to make noise. Size varies incredibly for sherpies the smallest being the size of a squirrel to reports of some as long as twenty feet! The average size is around three to six feet though. They live all around the world so keep an eye out. Remember sherpis are quite shy so if you want to meet one you'll have to look around!

Hello, and welcome to Liyena Adoptions!

Basic Description of the Liyena

The Liyena is built like a lion and hyena. It has the shoulders like the hyena, and neck is slanted down slightly. It has a mane that starts between its shoulder blades and it turns into a hair lock, like a horses forelock, Look here if you don't understand this. Its tail is a lions tail, with the normal tuff on it, and when it gets angry, the tuff and mane will turn into a flame, but not a normal fire color, very rarely. Its claws can unsheath and sheath like a cats. Its jaws are long but thick.

Diet of the Liyena

Well, since Lions and Hyenas both are Carnivores, the Liyena is a carnivore. They are found in Africa, where they eat the normal dietraies of the mix of animals.
They mostly feast on Grazelle, Zebras, and Wildebeats

Colors of the Liyena

The Liyena base color is always a natural color, from white to brown to black and tan. It may be something between to colors. Then the Liyena has it's own distictive markings, to tell them apart. The markings can be any color, from white, to rainbow. There are rarely a Liyena without markings, they are thought to be the abnormal. Then you come to their mane and flame. Their mane is a darker shane of their base color, and their flame is any color. Their eyes are any colors.

Breeding of the Liyena

Liyenas are never mates for life, they usually have 1-6 cubs. It takes six months from breed to birth(which is 6 days irl).

Sherpis are playful, light hearted creatures. Despite being friendly its very rare to be approached by one, preferring to hide in their environment. They have hollow bones making them quite light and able to glide or float from one tree to another. This makes rumors of them being to fly very common but very few can. They have a flat large bone in there tail to help propel and balance them while gliding. The horns on their heads may resemable ears at first glance but they are not. Their ears are similar to owls and are hidden under their fur. Horns are used in nonverbal communication. Expressing intense feelings such as sadness, excitment, or anger, by glowing. It is very difficult for a sherpi to control their horns glow. The normal form of communication is chirping, purring, chittering, although when stressed some sherpis lose the ability to make noise. Size varies incredibly for sherpies the smallest being the size of a squirrel to reports of some as long as twenty feet! The average size is around three to six feet though. They live all around the world so keep an eye out. Remember sherpis are quite shy so if you want to meet one you'll have to look around!

Q: Can I buy MYO tickets / edits / stardust with tokens?
A: If there is an announcement made stating this, then yes, you may buy Stars currency/items with CS event tokens in place of C$ during events! The token to C$ conversion can be found in the announcement. Different tokens may have different conversion rates, and prices may change throughout the duration of the event, but neither of these are guaranteed. Purchases generally stop some time before the end of the event to allow for trade-in time.

Q: Does my Common MYO (C MYO) get unlimited common edits?
A: Yes!

Q: Does my Uncommon MYO (UC MYO) get unlimited common edits? Does my Rare MYO (R MYO) get unlimited uncommon and common edits?
A: Yes to both of these! All MYO tickets get unlimited edits of the rarities below the ticket rarity. For example, an uncommon MYO ticket gets unlimited common and NR edits.

Q: Can I add another edit to my cat after it's already been approved?
A: After a cat has been approved, you may not edit the design without purchasing the proper rarity edit from the MYO store or shop located on the main page. Once this is done you should let us know that you've used an edit on one of your cats here. All edits to existing approved cats must be applied via color-in and receive approval again.

Q: How do I apply a StarClan lines edit (Star's Greetings item)?
A: Here are our guidelines for how to apply a StarClan or Dark Forest edit to your cat! Just like any edit item, please make sure to apply the edit via color-in (do not edit the original reference), get the edit approved, and post a "used item" form on the archives.

ＧＲＯＷＴＨＳ

Q: Can MYOs be kits/apprentices?
A: Yes! You will be responsible for their growths, and the date that they can grow will be given when they're approved.

Q: What should I do if I want to add an edit that will only appear on my reference once my cat is grown?
A: You should list every edit your cat, once grown, will have when posting the original kitten/apprentice reference for approval. If you do not list this edit we will only be able to assume that your cat will have the default lines, and you will need to apply edit items for any new edits shown.

Q: When can my MYO grow?
A: Your MYO can grow from kit to apprentice 3 weeks after the MYO was posted, and apprentice to warrior after an additional 3 weeks! If you skip the apprentice growth, your kit will still take 6 weeks to grow to a warrior. These growth dates go by the time your cat was posted, not the time they were approved. Growths cannot be approved until the day they are scheduled to grow.

Q: Can I post my MYO's growths in advance / during the approval process?
A: Yes! You're welcome to post all three (or two) growths at the same time, to ensure all their markings and edits are accurate and won't require future editing or use of edit items later down the line. However, your cat's growths cannot be approved until the date(s) they're scheduled to grow, and you may not use their growths until the growths are approved!

Light Collectors (LC) are tiny flying creatures who absorb energy from lightbulbs through special glands on their paw pads. The brighter a Light Collector's horn and tail glow, the healthier and more full of energy that LC is. LC's favorite light to absorb usually is any light the same color as their own glow. While this energy is what a LC needs in order to survive, they can also enjoy other foods such as fruits, veggies, and even candies!

Disabilities:
First off these are ofcourse non rarity but i do have some rules. ALL Sherpis are born with at least 3 pairs of legs, if youd like you can give them birth defects, injurys, and whatnot. You can remove up to the elbow(?) with leg injuries. A sherpies tail is very important to them and their survival and most would instantly die without it so i request no serious injuries or birth defects to the tail. You can add scars and signs of injury to the tail but it has to be in very mostly intact. A sherpi would die with complete loss of a horn but in some cases i dont mind letting horn injuries pass, just make sure at least one of the horn endings is completely intact. Sherpis can be blind/deaf or anything else really my main thing was just with the limbs<3

What is a Plate Dragon?

A Plate Dragon is a subspecies of dragon! They have "Plates" on the side of their cheeks and on their butts! They also have scales around their bodies such as on their faces, legs, and tail! Another unique feature are the "spikes" on the end of their tails and horns that can range in many different shapes and sizes that are used for protection and battle. They usually live in jungles or forests but can be found anywhere. They are extremely venomous, and can projectile their venom when in danger! They use this tactic when feeling threatened or scared so as long as you have good intentions they wont hurt you! They are feisty but you'll be lucky to have one as your friend if it gives you its trust!

●︎ Do not make you own Plate Dragon without a MYO ticket or special permission
●︎ MYOs may be purchased via the shop, events, or staff members
●︎ You may sell/gift/ and trade Plate Dragon
●︎ Plate Dragons cannot be co-owned!
●︎ Users banned from the species can not earn more Plate Dragons through trades, sales, gifts, or other means. They can not use, sell, or trade any MYOs they've received for free or through events. Banned users can transfer, gift, or sell the Plate Dragons they already own, but cannot trade for other Plate Dragons, or earn more Plate Dragons they already have at the time of banning.
●︎ Please make sure you are following all species guidelines including all rules and traits!
●︎ You may not transfer a Plate Dragon design out of the species without permission from a staff member
●︎ There is no limit to how many Plate Dragons you may own! <3
●︎ Plate Dragons can be any gender and or sexual orientation and may still breed! Though Plate Dragons related to each other may not breed! So please keep track of your Plate Dragon family tree!
●︎ Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated!

Creating a Plate Dragon: (MYOs)

●︎ Plate Dragons cannot be based off of copyrighted characters of any kind! Slight inspiration is fine but must be different enough to not resemble any copyrighted character. (Colors, Design, Features)
●︎ Credit the source material of PDs you inspired on existing characters/designs on approval page and on the pages you store them on like Toyhouse. It’s also not allowed to sell designs inspired on any copyrighted media for real currency.
●︎ All designs must be original and created by you or another user.
●︎ Stealing designs can result in strikes or being banned!
●︎ Designs must be appropriate and cannot contain any offensive imagery or words!
●︎ Selling any design gotten through a free adopt or a free nursery slot for real currency is prohibited. It’s possible only if you obtained or made extra art worth of either writing work of at least 600 words or a half body colored sketch.
●︎ It’s not allowed to sell USD adopts either unless for the exact same or lower price it was gotten for (so if you bought it for 5 USD, you can sell it only for 5 or less USD), virtual currencies like C$ or traded for another design. The price also can go up only if extra art got involved, on same rules as in rule 1.
●︎ After adopting any free PD (either won in a discord giveaway, adopt or a nursery slot), there’s a cooldown of 14 days before you can trade or sell it. Only time that’s an exception is gifting another user a free PD, asking the artist for a permission or starting a giveaway.
●︎ No begging for free items, art or designs is allowed. It’s understandable that a wait can be frustrating, but staff members also have their lives like anyone else! It’s not allowed to push and repeatedly ask the same question or send the same messages towards any staff member that owes you anything and you haven’t had to pay for it. Always go by rule of the thumb and remember that the artist probably remembers your thing but is occupied by their chores and other things to be done in specie. If you waited really long (ex. Longer than a month or two) it’s okay to ask or speak to an admin/mod about it and possibly discuss of a refund if it’d be impossible to get done, but otherwise, do not spam the public chats and DMs.
●︎ If the artist has blocked you, do not enter their adopts, giveaways and refrain from getting their designs through user trades.

Staff Rules:

●︎ Staff are encouraged to make as many Plate Dragons as possible though the minimum requirement to keep status is to make at least 1 Plate Dragon every 2 weeks!
●︎ Please dont add rare and above traits to Plate Dragons adopts unless given permission
●︎ Artist must make at least 1 free adopt every 2 weeks
●︎ Plate Dragons may be sold for any type of currency and at any amount
●︎ Milestone Plate Dragons should be discussed before creation
●︎ Staff may hand out MYOs at ones discretion

Staff Payments:

●︎ All staff will receive 50% off all shop items!
●︎ Staff will receive 1 MYO with unlimited traits up to rare every 2 weeks theyre active
●︎ Other payments will be grated to those who are especially active (ie: More MYOs/Items/etc)
●︎ Staff may make 1 free breedings for themselves once a month (does not count towards 1 free MYO)
●︎ Staff may Swap a MYO for any item in the shop
●︎ Staff may trade and giveaway staff MYOs

Ultimate Pass:

An Ultimate Pass is an unlimited MYO pass that grants permission to these user to make as many Plate Dragons as they like with any traits! They are non transferable and you cannot make Plate Dragons for anyone other than yourself!

What’s a Sprigon?
Sprigons are magical creatures that exist undiscovered in the remote reaches of modern day Earth. From the upper atmosphere to the darkest depths of the oceans, these creatures have adapted to hide and survive in nearly any environment. In fact, not only do they survive, but they seem to be able to manipulate their habitat magically in order to do so. Sky Sprigons, for instance, have the power to influence the weather, while Water Sprigons have sway over currents and tides.
Their most notable feature is certainly their tail, which can reach lengths of up to 6x that of their body. While moving they are often mistaken for long-bodied creatures like serpents or dragons, when in fact their actual body is quite stocky and square. The Sprigon’s tail is the source of its magic and is used in nearly every aspect of its life; so far, Sprigons have been noted to fly, swim at great speeds, and even tunnel into the ground.
These creatures are still considered Cryptids by the general public, and even the Cryptozoologists who study them know very little. It is suspected that Sprigons of different elements may breed to create new elements, so the number of different Sprigon elements is entirely unknown.

V .2 is here!
V.2 brings new lineart, the Water and Earth Elements, new traits, and soon the nursery and breeding!
-The linearts are all now more user friendly and more easily editable! There are lots of folders to navigate and some erasing may be required for best coloring results, but overall I think its a big improvement over the old lines!
-The Earth and Water Elements now have lineart and their own unique traits! New unique traits have also been added for the Sky Element. I'm still working on batch lineart for Earth and Water.
-Nursery lineart has been added, and the nursery will open after I figure out how I'd like to run it!

Getting Started

How do I get a Sprigon?
Getting your first Sprigon is easy! You may choose to create your own starter Sprigon by following the steps below, or you can try out for any adopts that are posted by staff.

To claim your Starter MYO Ticket, simply complete the following steps;

Create a personal archive for your Sprigons! To create an archive, just create a space where you can keep track of all the Sprigons you own; this could simply be a Toyhou.se folder, a thread in the character storage forum, or your personal character storage website. You don't have to currently own a Sprigon in order to create an archive.
Fill out the 'Personal Archive' form in the Sprigons 'Archive' thread
Create your Starter MYO! Starter MYOs are Standard tier, meaning that only NR trait edits may be added. You may, however, use add-on items to add common or above traits to your starter!
Fill out the 'Claiming my Starter MYO!' form in the Sprigons 'MYO' thread.

All rules are to be followed not only here on CS, but on any platform concerning Sprigons. These rules are in place to ensure that Sprigons remains a friendly and safe community for everyone. Failure to follow these rules will result in up to three warnings and eventually a complete ban from the community and species.

General Rules

Please keep all discussions and general behavior clean and PG13.

Bullying, harassment, begging/guilt tripping, hateful rhetoric and unnecessary aggression will not be tolerated.

Keep discussions related to the species unless in a designated forum or chat. Not Sprigon-related discourse must still follow the above rules.

Adding to the above, any non-Sprigon chat must be kept lighthearted - heavy and uncomfortable real life topics should not be brought up or discussed in public chat.

Be kind and respectful to others, including staff.

If you have had an incident you need to report, please follow the guidelines for reporting listed below.

Do not mini-mod; allow staff to handle questions and incidents.

Species/Design Rules

Sprigons is a closed species; only staff members may create official adoptables.

Because Sprigons is a closed species, users may not use the base in order to create pre-made designs; however, they may commission MYO designs for other users.

Sprigon ownership is tracked via the archive; do not attempt to claim a Sprigon that you do not own.

Sprigons may be transferred between owners via trades, gifting, and purchase via on or off-site currency; any sort of transfer must be reported with the appropriate form on the archive thread, and then approved by staff.

Sprigons may not be sold for more than they were purchased for, and Sprigons purchased with virtual currency may not be sold for real currency.

Sprigons that were acquired for free may not be sold, but may be traded or gifted freely.

There is currently no limit on the number of Sprigons that may be owned.

You may use copyrighted characters or popular culture as inspiration for a Sprigon design, but it must be a unique and original design.

Once the Off-Oekaki base and thread are running, you may create and own off-Oekaki Sprigons as long as they are documented properly and the official base is used.

Staff Rules

✧Guest Artists

Guest artists can create up to 3 adoptables per month.

Guest artists may make one Uncommon adopt; the rest may be at rarity Common or below.

Guest artists must make their first 2 adopts free, and may charge for the 3rd as long as the rules for paid adopts below are followed.

Artists may make any number of adoptables per month, but at least 2 must be free.

Artists may charge whatever they would like for paid adoptables, but MUST accept CS currency (pets or C$, your choice) as an option for payment as long as the adoptable is posted in the CS Oekaki.

Sales involving real currency must be discussed offsite, per CS rules.

Rare tier adoptables are limited to 1 per month, and Mythical/Special tier adoptables must be discussed before posting.

Artists are not required to set an 'autobuy' for any auction/OTA (offer-to-adopt).

All staff members are still subject to all general rules of the species.

Any full-time staff member may request to host an event as long as it is discussed with Kitteh.

So as you guys may have noticed this species has become more or less dead >.< I don't want the species to die out so I was thinking about making them an open species or maybe co-owning them with someone? I need someone else to keep me motivated with species it seems.

Selling them is also an option but I don't really want to completely give up on them like that since this species means a lot to me, so I'm after opinions. Should I open them? Would anyone be interested in co-owning them with me? Taking them off here and onto another site is also an option but I fear I would run into the same issue if I did it solo (Skygold has given permission for me to take the lines off of here)

Sooo.. any ideas?

I would co-own but I crashed my own closed species I’m just tempted to make them open and leave them as is. But mine is also too important to me. So I feel that as well. Maybe I could bring them back here and we could co-own eachothers? Maybe us both having a species to part manage would make burn out less likely? Just an option. What are Wolterns?
Wolterns are a special wolf. They are known to be warriors of Ukir. They are a wolf with Eastern dragon tributes: The whiskers, Nose plates, horns, and some have leg furs.

What are the Wolterns' fur pattern?
They are unique with mostly natural colors, sometimes they won't, but that is rare.

Note to Artist: The armor lines are for the younger wolves.

nursery guidelines;;

➸ Your Sima may not breed if it existed before the 2018 hiatus and hasn't been added to our new archives. PM corviidae or another archivist.

➸ Sima parents, after breeding, have a 4-week cooldown before they can breed again.

★ With the cooldown being counted from the time the ticket was posted to the new ticket being posted

★ the cooldown only applies for accepted tickets

➸ Sima kits can age after 3 weeks of being created, but cannot breed until 6 weeks after they are created as they grow through adolescence.

➸ Unlike dwarfs, teacups have a time-sensitive window where you can remove the gene if you do not want the kit to have it.

★ Which requires a dwarfism removal item and if used before 6 weeks has passed allows the sima to grow to a full adult.

★ At 6 weeks, you can still remove the gene with an item, but they can only grow to the size of a normal dwarf.

★ After 9 weeks, you cannot remove the teacup gene.

➸ Once you obtain a Sima, you may breed the Sima after a 2-week cooldown.

➸ After you post a ticket, you have to wait for one round as a cooldown before you may post another ticket. (Ex; if Glispa opens a slot, you grab it. Then, pyromaniacal opens a slot. You can't post for that one. Afterward, if another artist posts, you may grab that ticket. )

➸ Simas must have an adult reference to be able to breed. Even if your kit is 'of age', they must've been actually aged.

➸ As of now teacup and dwarf simas cannot breed.

➸ A Sima, in it's lifetime, can have up to 5 clutches of kits- 6 if they are 'soulmates', or more with the appropriate items.

★ A 'Soulmate' couple is defined as Simas who bred with no other Sima but each other for their 5 breedings. In this case, they are capable of one additional breeding only with one another.

★ Your Sima can only get +2 extra breedings, and no more than that unless an Eternal Enchantment Potion is used.

★ if your Sima has infinite breedings, the breeding cooldown increases to 6 weeks after the initial 5 breedings (unless they have a soulmate perk breeding, then it's after the initial 6 breedings)

➸ Items that guarantees a specific percentage roll will be used before any rolls are made.

★ Items cannot be made to be used only IF a specific roll is not made.

★ For example if a twin item is added to a ticket the item will be used no matter what, however 3 or more kits can still be rolled for. You cannot add a twin item to your ticket and expect it only to be used if a single kit is rolled for.

➸ Artists are only required to apply nursery specific items to a ticket any other items will be left up to the artist whether they want to apply them or not.

★ With nursery specific edits being items that alter the standard nursery rolls such as altering the chance to roll for specific edits, mutations or number of kits.

★ Eternal Enchantment potions and other additional breeding items should be included in the ticket of the first additional clutch

★ Must be approved by the artist and an archivist must be notified.

➸ You can keep a maximum of 10 kits from the nursery per month.

➸ You must own at least one of the parents and have the other owner's permission to breed if applicable.

➸ You may not ask nursery artists to add certain edits to kits, as that can only be rolled for with only two exceptions.

★ Legendary edits can be added per the artist's choice if requested by the user only if it is the 4th-5th (or 6th, if soulmates) breeding for the sima or couple as long as it has not already passed down 2-3 times already in the simas lifespan.

★ If the sima has infinite breeding, the legendary edit pass limit will reset every 5 breedings but the sima will be exempt from the above rule of being allowed to request legendary edits.

★ Mythical edits can be added per the artist's choice if requested by the user but may only be passed down once in a simas lifetime, no matter what items are used.

★ The mythical edits [Metal skeleton], [No jewelguard] and [Infinite breedings] are exempt from the above rule and cannot be passed down at all.

➸ Community members have a right to notify a species owner if someone suspects that a nursery artist is skirting the edit rolling system, and will be kept anonymous.

➸ Simas may not be inbred, but due to the fact that we have such large untracked families, the kit will not be sterile if this accidentally happens and the two parents are at least 5 generations away from one another. Otherwise, this case would make your kit sterile and unable to breed.

nursery artist / guest nursery artist guidelines;;

➸ Nursery Artists have a right to decline tickets if they do not meet our guidelines, or under private circumstances which must be discussed with one of the species owners. Keep in mind the number of times legendary edits/rare edits have been passed by a parent(s) before you roll for it/add it. If you open raffle tickets, do not do it multiple times in a row.

➸ You may only open 3 breeding slots at a time.

➸ It is recommended to mention whether items that are not nursery specific is allowed in the tickets you accept.

★ You are still required to use any and all nursery specific items added to the ticket

➸ All breedings must include an edit list for each kit that is created, and the edits' rarities.

★ The edits that are rolled for should be included on the post where you advertised for the ticket/s

★ For a limited time any rolls for triplets/quadruplets as well as legendary rolls require a screenshot for proof

➸ Screensharing is allowed during breedings, but all tickets-including personal tickets- must be kept public. PM tickets are no longer allowed.

★ Personal tickets occur only 1 time for every 4 tickets you take on and complete. If another user is involved with one of your couples, they still have to wait to post the ticket if you want to do it yourself.

★ Personal tickets should be posted in the nursery as if any other user would post theirs, just mention it's a personal ticket on the top or bottom of your form.

➸ You are not obligated to 'redo' the ticket if the owner(s) of the parents dislike the kit. However, avoid rushing the ticket. Take your time with designing, even if it ends up simple.

➸ Number of Kits: ☆

★ 1-60 - Single | 61-90 - twins | 91-98 - triplets | 99-100 - quadruplets

➸ Dwarfism: ☆

★ 1-50 || 1-8 = Dwarfism Gene

○After a successful dwarf roll: 1-150 || 40-50 = Teacup gene
○Only the dwarfism roll is a required roll, the teacup gene being optional

➸ Mutation Chance:

★ 1-100 || 1-30 = no mutation

then, if successful roll:

★ 1-100 || 1-60 common | 61-90 uncommon | 91-98 rare | 99-100 legendary

○1 added colour: Uncommon | 2-3 added colours: Rare | 4+ added colours: Legendary
○1-25% new design: Uncommon | 26-50% new design: Rare | 51-100% new design: Legendary

➸ Edit & Jewel Inheritance:

★ (edits) | 0-25 fail | 26-100 - common | 61-100 - uncommon | 91-100 - rare | 99-100 - legendary

○ If all parents have a matching common edit: guaranteed pass
○ If multiple parents have a matching unc/rare/legendary edit: roll twice/thrice.

○ 'Fail' variants of an edit can be added to a kit if an uncommon+ edit does not roll within the rarity range for the edit, but rolls for something lower rarity which is the same type of edit. This only applies if there's a common or lower rarity version of that edit. (ex; failed roll for legendary wings, but rolled for nonfunctional R chibi wings)
○ [NEW] An example of the above would be for a roll for legendary wings resulting in 92 which is within the rare range. As such the kit would get the rae fail variant of the legendary wings edit (nonfuncitonal R chibi wings)
○ [NEW] Any edit roll resulting in a number between 0-25 will not pass the edit in any way, fail variants or not

★ (jewels) | 1-100 - common | 61-100 - uncommon | 91-100 - rare | 99-100 - legendary

○ If multiple parents have the same jewel rarity, roll twice/thrice. If they fail, kit will have the standard jewel type.
○ Also note, if you roll for a custom jewel, the shape must match the parent's custom jewel shape.
○ Limited jewels roll as a rare jewel.

○ The jewel glow can be passed down with standard rates even without the reaper/ghoul gene, however the transparency cannot

➸ Peppermint Spice: ☆

★ 1-100 || 63-66 = peppermint spice gene (if all parents pep spice outside of season)

○ One/two peppermint parent x one normal Sima cannot pass the gene at all outside of the season.
○ Peppermint Spice gene passing rates raise in the Winter season from Dec. 25th-March 1st.

★ 1-100 || 1-5 = peppermint spice gene (if neither parent is pep spice in season)

○ if one parens is a Peppermint Spice, 1-40 = peppermint spice gene.
○ if all parents are Peppermint Spice, inheritance raises to 100%.
○ The peppermint spice season lasts Dec. 25th-March 1st.

○ The curly neck and tail fur, striped jewel and sparkles can pass at standard rates without the peppermint spice gene. The curled tail cannot

★ 1-100 || 1-100 = primal (if all parents are primals and in season)
Primal jewel roll:
★ 1-100 || 1-55 - Novice | 56-80 Warrior | 81-100 Alpha

○ The primal gene can only pass during Migration season from May 1st-August 31.
○ One/two primal parent x one normal Sima cannot pass the gene even in season.
○ Any edits outside of the jewel, be it the primal specific fur, muzzle, nose, teeth and claws or additional edits are able to pass down at standard rates regardless of the season

➸ Galaxy Simas: ☆

★ 1-100 || 1-2 Full-blooded galaxy sima
★ 1-100 || 1-50 = Half-blooded Galaxy gene

○ Only full-blooded simas gets the galaxy hair whilst both full-blooded and half-blooded gets the jewel color and shape
○ Half-blooded simas cannot pass down the gene
○ A legendary auto pass can be used to pass the full-blooded gene but a mutation cannot

○ Jewel shape and hair of a different substance can be passed down with standard rates, the jewel color cannot

➸ Jewel Eaters: ☆

★ Breeding Season: September 1st - December 15th

○ gene may not pass outside of season

○ Legendary Autopasses or Mutations or Items may not pass the gene.
○ Gene must be rolled for by these approved users: Ravemn, FluffyTheUnicorn, Corviidae, Glispa, Koegami.

○ Starsong Simas are retired and cannot pass the gene. However, 1 out of every 3 kits in a Starsong's lifetime can inherit their floppy ear edits. Roll as if you would a rare edit.

➸ Subspecies Crossbreeding:

○ The PRIMAL subspecies may not be crossbred with any other subspecies. Too far separated in evolution to do so.
○ The JEWEL EATER subspecies may be crossbred with: Reapers, Ghouls, Masquerades*, Peppermint Spices; and Galaxy Simas.
○ The PEPPERMINT SPICE subspecies may be crossbred with: Jewel Eaters, Reapers and Ghouls.
○ The REAPER/GHOUL subspecies may be crossbred with: Jewel Eaters and Peppermint Spices; and Galaxy Simas.
○ The MASQERADE subspecies may be crossbred* with: Jewel Eaters and Galaxy Simas.

MUTATO
mutato - singular | mutatoes - plural

in a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, mutatoes take to the sky.
these creatures, affectionately dubbed mutatoes,
are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
they live in the sky and consume uv radiation. they are the new era of superman.

mutatoes are typically the size of a potato, but the largest can grow to around the size of a basketball.
generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
the mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
these gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air–-enabling them to fly.
they can stay in the air for a maximum of twenty hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
though, when they can't be in the air, mutatoes pace... a lot.

--- mutatoes are a closed species created and owned by akami-chan and managed by allinian.

--GENERAL

- you may not make your own mutato without permission.

- please be aware of and understand all of cs' rules.
- please do not spam, harass other players, whine, guilt trip, or beg for mutatoes.
- be kind and respectful to all members of the community. discrimination will not be tolerated.

- there is no limit to how many mutatoes you may own. mutato mayhem!

- mutatoes may not be co-owned.
- do not claim a mutato that is not yours. this includes using images that do not belong to you in your signature.

- do not under any circumstance edit the mutato animation.
- do not copy/trace/heavily reference the mutato lines.

- requests for free myos and customs will be ignored (outside of starter 'tatoes).
- requests to join the staff will be ignored.

- you must wait for me, allinian, to reserve the second post in each mutato thread before posting.

--CREDITING

- feel free to feature your mutato in your signature and/or upload it to character sites.
- if you do either of the above, you must link it back to either the main thread or its original adoption page.
- if uploading to toyhou.se, assign credit to the main thread (or original adoption page) and the designer.
- - for image credits, credit akami-chan for the lines/base and the respective artist for the design.

--SELLING / TRADING / GIFTING

- a user must own their mutato for at least fourteen days before it can be resold, traded, or gifted.

- a mutato obtained through free adoption cannot be sold under any circumstance.
- a free mutato can only be traded for other mutatoes. three-way mutato trades are allowed.
- - if a free mutato is traded for a paid one, the paid one looses its value and becomes free.

- mutatoes can only be sold for cs pets, items, c$, and/or art.
- mutatoes cannot and will never be sold for any kind of real currency.
- - they also cannot be sold/traded for any non-mutato characters or off-site currencies.

- you may only sell your mutato for how much it was bought for.
- - art, pets, and items can be converted to c$ to calculate overall value.

- all ownership changes must be approved by me or a staff member in the archive updates thread.

--STRIKES / BANS

- deliberate rule abuse will have consequences.
- rule-breakers will be given one strike per offense. on the third offense, they will be banned.
- if the staff feel anyone has severely broken the rules, they will be banned immediately.
- art thieves and plagiarists will automatically be banned with no warning.
- a situation does not have to be explicitly stated in the rules to result in a strike or ban.

in the case of a ban,
-- the user can still keep their mutatoes, but they can no longer participate in anything related to the species. this includes breeding/selling/trading/gifting their mutatoes, participating in events, interacting with any threads/adopts, etc.
-- if the user no longer wants their mutatoes, they will be readopted. these readoptions can only be held by the staff.

STAFF COMPENSATION

ALL STAFF MEMBERS earn a custom/myo upon initial hire, flametail only.

afterwards, permanent staff earn a custom/myo for every month active, either flametail or bubbletail.
- these customs/myos can be gifted to friends, but cannot be sold.
- two months worth of compensation can be exchanged for a statictail.
- - five months worth can be exchanged for a heaventail.

A. no, this is only for the winner's use.

Q. am i allowed to add accessories to my mutato?
A. yes, on your own separate reference, but do not under any circumstance edit the mutato animation.

Q. do mutatoes have genders?
A. this is up to the owner. gender is not an important part of this species.

Q. are mutatoes an intelligent species?
A. mutatoes behave like any pet. they have conscious, deliberate thought, and personality quirks.

Q. can mutatoes read? do they have their own language?
A. some can read, but mutatoes don't have a special written or spoken language. instead, they mostly communicate through motion and gestures.

Q. can my mutato be friends with/the pet of my floc?
A. certainly! but.. since both do not have a spoken language.. it might be a bit difficult. the floc can communicate telepathically to the mutato... but it probably wont understand much (similar to human/dog communication).

Experience is awarded based on how many words you write, and/or the content of your art. All entries will receive experience (as long as you follow the art/writing only rules)!

Here is our writing exp scale, and here is our art exp scale. The writing exp scale is the same as the one used in explore. The art exp scale may be subject to change in the future.

ＳＴＡＲＤＵＳＴ

If you earn at least 60 exp total from all of your quest responses in a round, then you're eligible to receive stardust as a prize as well! You don't need 60+ exp from each quest; just 60 overall (i.e. 30 from quest one, 20 from quest two, 10 from quest three).

Your exp will be converted to stardust as follows: 1 exp = 2 stardust
Don't worry, you'll still receive experience as well! The stardust is just an additional, bonus prize.

While exploring, you have a chance to find food/herbs, encounter some friendly faces, and even find rare items! However, remember this is a survival game! Your cats may get sick, engage in battles with predators, fight in border skirmishes, or receive random injuries. Your cats will not die in explore unless you opt-in to death. Everything you do in explore will earn you experience (EXP / XP), which is used to level-up and earn cool rewards (below)!

Here are some pointers to help you get started!
1. To begin, fill out the explore code provided below! You may pretty the code up, but please keep all the information from the base coding clearly visible in the post itself (not linked somewhere offsite/on another thread). Here is a handy checklist to ensure you have all the required info.

2. When you first start out, you’ll receive three free posts. These are given out per user, not per clan and provides your cats time to gather food and herbs! Your cats will gain no hunger for your first three posts. They also won’t encounter any predators or border skirmishes, fall ill, or receive any random injuries.

3. Max of six cats (adults/apprentices) on patrol, please! Additional cats can be included in your writing, but they won't count towards the rolls and shouldn't be linked in the "cats on patrol" sections. Kits cannot be added to the patrol list!

4. HP = health; HUP = hunger! All of your cats will start at 0% HUP (hunger) and 100% HP (health). Find out more information about HUP in “hunger & custom prey” and on HP in “health & healing”.

5. (Optional) If you’d like, you may customize your prey/predator list and/or opt-in for death! Just fill out the forms, post them on the explore thread + link them in your future explore post(s)!

6. Explore writing can be about anything, but should ideally end with / connect to a patrol! It’s a good idea to leave your explore post open for writers to jump-in, because the writer who responds will be writing about any prey/herbs found and any mini-scenarios encountered. Alternatively, you're welcome to send a patrol out without any writing as well.

7. After you've posted your explore post, wait for a writer to reply to your post before writing another one! Writing a quality explore reply can take time, so please be patient. Writers have one month (from the time they claimed your post) to get a response out to players, though it typically won't take that long. Your post wasn't skipped; we have multiple writers claiming different posts, and some might finish their replies sooner than others. For ease, you may also check if your post has been claimed and find all your prior posts and replies on our explore log!

8. When a writer responds, you may (or may not) receive a mini-scenario! If you’re still on your three free posts, you’ll encounter one of our friendly npcs! Read more about npc tasks and other mini-scenarios here!

ＬＥＶＥＬＳ

To level up, you'll need to earn experience (EXP / XP) through exploring, participating in prompts, or sometimes even events! You'll earn +10XP for every explore post posted, as well as additional experience for writing, participating in battles, finding herbs/food, etc. Every time you level up, you get a reward!

When you level up, your previous experience is "spent" on the level up and will not roll over to your new level. For example, if you have 135XP and are level 0, you'll level up to level 1 and have 35XP left. You cannot skip levels.

All users start at level zero! Experience listed is how much is required to reach that level (+ here is another way to visualize this).

To survive, your cats require food! Food points (FP) can be found randomly on patrols. The amount of food you find varies by season and number of cats on patrol. During some seasons, your cats may receive a bountiful hunt — this doubles the FP they find!

Your cats will gain +10% HUP (hunger) per patrol. This hunger gain only applies to the cats sent on that patrol. For your first three explore posts, none of your cats will gain any hunger. If a cat reaches 60% hunger or above, they will lose -10% health every patrol they go on, until they're fed enough FP to lower their hunger below 60%.

If you are running dangerously low on FP, you can purchase or swap for some from Mousespeck. If you have some spare FP, you can also trade those to Mousespeck for stardust, which can be used to buy cool items from Starclan’s shop!

ＦＥＥＤＩＮＧ　ＹＯＵＲ　ＣＡＴＳ

Each FP you feed a cat removes 10% hunger (1FP = -10% hunger)! When feeding your cats, remove the prey items from your inventory and place them in the “inventory items used” box of your explore post! Make sure to also update your patrollers’ hunger accordingly in your explore post.

You can choose to split a larger prey item with multiple cats! For example, you can feed three cats with a 3FP piece of prey and each cat will lose 10% hunger. Or you could split it between two cats, and remove 20% hunger from one, and 10% hunger from another. As an additional note, you cannot split a 1FP prey between two cats (removing -5% health for each one). Each FP can only remove -10% hunger (nothing more and nothing less)!

ＤＥＦＡＵＬＴ　 & 　ＣＵＳＴＯＭ　ＰＲＥＤＡＴＯＲ／ＰＲＥＹ　ＬＩＳＴ

(Optional) To make your explores more personalized, you’re welcome to pick what prey and/or predators will appear in your territory! This is completely optional, but if you’re interested just fill out the form below (in the code block)! Otherwise, writers will use the default list for prey and predators when replying to your posts!

Default Prey List:
1 FP = scraps, bugs
2 FP = mouse, vole, shrew, small fish
3 FP = minnow, squirrel, frog
4 FP = rabbit, bird, owl, falcon
5 FP = hawk, eagle, vulture

Default Predator List:
badger, fox, bird of prey, dog, snake

Form Reminders:
1. Make sure to link your custom prey/predator list in every explore post!
2. Your prey list should have at least 1 item for each FP value! 2-3 items per FP value is ideal
3. Lists can be specific or general (i.e. mouse or small rodent)
4. Fantasy prey is allowed, but please keep your lists realistic size-wise (i.e. a bear shouldn't be prey, an eagle shouldn't be worth 1FP, etc.)
5. Your predator list should have at least 1 predator! These shouldn’t include cats (you’ll encounter these in border skirmishes)

Lemaire Channel Arabians; a subspecies of Arabian unlike any other. Compared to their hot-blooded, desert dwelling ancestors, this unique type is cold-blooded and arctic dwelling. Founded in 1976, the Lemaire Arabian was first discovered by an explorer by the name of Levi H. Kavairi, who had been trekking across the unforgiving Antarctic terrain for eight months in search of signs of any new species. He was shocked to find a herd of wild horses wandering around an expanse of frigid water that was nicknamed the Kodak Gap. The explorer was especially surprised however, when he looked closer and saw the herd was in fact a group of Arabians. Considering his exploits of multiple deserts showed that the breed thrived primarily in the hot weather, this was unsual.

He reported his findings to the committee, and from there the Lemaire Channel Arabian Foundation (LCAF) was founded. To preserve this brilliant breed, a group of skilled professionals came together in hopes to assist the breed in becoming globally recognized and to expand the population. They succeeded, and now the Lemaire Channel Arabian makes a wonderful companion to any barn. Eye-catching, level-headed, intelligent, and incredibly hardy, the Lemaire Arabian is the perfect all-rounder breed. Capable of competing in any known discipline, they have excellent potential for anything and are an eager to please, easily trainable breed. The breed sports a long, flowing mane and tail that requires consistent maintenance, a coat that, depending on the climate, can range anywhere from thick and wooly to short and glossy. Their strong, hardy hooves make them exceptional mounts for braving the wilderness. Overall, the Lemaire Arabian is a great addition. ─ Lemaire Channel Arabians cannot be sold for any type of currency. They can be gifted for free, or traded for other LCAs
─ If you are trading/gifting a horse, both the new and old owners must post on the horse's page confirming the transfer. Additionally, the new owner should contact the archivist to inform them of the change
─ As a closed species, creating your own LCA is not permitted. Changing the coat design, color, or adding things to an LCA you own is also not allowed without the original designer's explicit permission
─ You cannot claim designs that you do not own. Likewise, plagiarizing backstories or personalities is not permitted
─ LCAs can be taken offsite. Websites like Weebly, Toyhouse, Wix, or custom websites are permitted for character storage
─ Users who are banned from CS are considered banned from LCA. Banned users cannot claim their adopts under another account, unless they have proof of ownership. Revoked LCAs will be adopted back out into the community
─ Once owned, LCAs are to be given a halter and have their background removed as soon as possible
