this is going to be a choose your own price shop,
taking c$ only currently, as i need some more c:
all commissions will be sketchy to some degree, and more
detailed or less detailed depending on your payment. at a minimum
i would like 30-40 c$, but the more you add the better quality you

Hello there. I'm retroz and this is my free commissions shop thing. I've been working hard to improve my art but have very little experience actually working on commissions so I figure I'd take some free requests to get in some practice. I do all of my art on here on an older laptop with a mouse and keyboard at the moment so certain things take a lot longer for me to get to look right, so be patient with me.

I'm willing to draw just about anything, as long as it follows the rules of Chicken Smoothie as a whole. Though, I should state that my actually skill level with art is very hit or miss and topic dependant. If you want examples of my art there are a few in my Oekaki gallery.

Please read my rules before requesting any art. Other than that... Shoot me a message, or comment on here, if you have any questions or concerns about what I'm offering. I hope you all have a wonderful day/night.

NOTE: Be as detailed as you would like to be with your form when you fill it out. Less detail gives me more creative freedom, more detail gives you a bit more control. You may request I make edits to the finished piece and I will gladly do them if I have the time.

What do I consider a simple BG?
Something with minor details. (fire, a field, day time, night time, sunset, sunrise, single gradient, random patterning grass, etc)

What do I consider a complex BG?
Anything that requires more detail or lineart outside of just the character, and/or perspective. (A city scape, inside a cathedral, a stair way leading to a temple with a waterfall + different plants, etc)

hello small doodle shop!
doodles will look something similar to the drawing above, rough coloring and lining and a bit experimental since i want to try and experiment with my style. There will be color but it wont be the exact colors, js something of similar shade

All the information you need for ordering is above. the blue numbers represent the cost, in $c, for each option. The ones on the left are for no shading, and the ones on the right are for shading!

tips n tricks:
- humans/humanoids are more likely to be drawn but i can draw just abt anything
- probably wont do everyone, just the ocs that pique my interest, so linking a folder or your artfight/TH profile with alot of options will increase the likelihood i draw one of your blorbos
- if you want lmk if i can draw your OCs w/ mine :eyes: not required tho lol
- itd be helpful if your characters have bios or if you provide a lil personality blurb but its not required, ill just work off vibes if not lol
- credit my TH in my sig if reuploading my art

1. I am much, and I mean a whole lot better at traditional paper/pen art. So just to let you know if you put "I don't mind" or "I don't care" in the "Do you want traditional or digital art" It will be traditional (Ill have some examples of my traditional art added later)

2. I'm only going to work on three at a time.

3. So um. Yes this is a free art shop, which means don't pay me please, I don't know how well or bad I'll do, therefore I don't want stuff for it cuz you may not like it and then you gotta pay me for it and that ain't fair.

4. This character must already have been drawn or a character real similar because I'm not too good with making things from description. sorry (I might pm you to ask about extra details just to make sure I draw them correctly)

5. You will get no more, and no less then what you ask for. (Unless you allow traditional art, you may get a bit more, it depends)

6. You can do up to three characters at a time, as long as three slots are open (: keep in mind if I cannot draw them, I just can't. So I apologize for that but I am allowed to decline.)

7. If I don't have it done by like a week, which is still a stretch, pm the heck outta me, lol, if nothing else you'll make me feel bad and I'll do it XD

8: animalistic humans are alright, but I'd like a bit more practice with animals before I start excepting them. So only humans.
(Ears, tail, or animal characteristics is fine. But fluff and animal faces (longer snout or muzzle or whatever it's called) I can't do) and, as bad as it sounds, I can only draw female or feminine characters. Males are a HUGE struggle for me.

Random questions

1. How long will it take?
About 3-4 days. Depends how complex the design is

2. What is the little Red and orange blotch at the bottom left corner of my drawing?
Probably my SIG. Lololol. I don't remember to add it half the time tho sooo ._. anyways...

3. do you do a head portrait or a full body?
Matters how it's going along. Traditional art will probably be full body, whereas digital it matters how well I'm able to do with your character

4. How do I credit you?
You can either credit my Chickensmoothie or my Toyhouse

5. Can I request more than one drawing of one character?
If there's enough slots open, then yes! (Though, like any other, I can turn it down)

only taking eucs+, eucs and rares will get you a head/shoulder shot, a handful of rares or vr/ers will get you a full body! the current store pets will get you a more shaded headshot! the more the merrier :]!

just post the pet/oc/character you want drawn and what you'll trade me, I'll accept once the image is posted and done!

As the title states, it is pwyw. If you dont know what that means, it means that you name the price!

Doodles are uncolored busts by default, however, depending onhow generous your price it, you may get the following instead:
