I may swap my character ^^; I have another fishbowl head cat I was torn on using, I was toying with making two breedings but I don't want to add on to your workload so I'll only make one and will see at the time which character works best

(ive also got a question, if someone was to try out for an artist position do they need to write out the genptype or just have an understanding of the general pheno and how genes work? i know the basics of most dog genetics [like in beaumont collies], but looking at SFA genetic guide got me a bit jumbled)

You don't have to write out the genotype unless you want to just take a crack at it! Just be aware to be willing to learn some bits of genetics along the way as a designer ofc. But feel free just to put the pheno!

Hey! Tortoiseshell can only be an afab trait unless youre requesting specifically a kinefelter Male tortoiseshell (which would be infertile just so youre aware). Please either edit the trait/marking or the amab to afab before the form is valid to be claimed.

Hey just wanted to check as its a common misconception, Somali/Abyssinians are actually Black based tabbies with a high contrasting rufusing, causing the red color! Because this is a common point of confusion, i wanted to ask if you for sure wanted a Red/Ginger cat or just wanted the same high contrast seen in Somali/Abyssinians. If the latter, please change the base color to black and we'll be sure the rufusing is high contrast.

Oh interesting, I didn't know that! Admittedly I never did get a super solid grasp of house cat genetics during Rise haha. Yes I was picturing a ruddy red/ginger cat, whether or not it really has the Somali/Abyssinian traits is completely up to the artist

Oh no worries Rise honestly didnt have a lot of a genetic grasp. Just to be clear, youre okay if any tabby found on the cat is the ginger color rather than the black on somali/abyssinian (aka youre okay if theyre a ginger tabby rather than a black so long as theyre that somewhat darker ginger color)?

Hey! Just so you know countershading is not a trait we can technically remove due to it not being a gene/trait, however we can make sure to avoid something like the high contrast of urajiro!
