It won't hurt just this once...
Saphira had told Selena, every time before she went hunting, she would say, "Selena, don't you leave the cave. I'll be back soon." Now, Selena didn't know why this rule was in place, and so one day, against her better judgement she decided to go see what the moon looked like. She climbed up to the highest rock, and saw it. The moon was beautiful, and she realized that she had been harboring a secret resentement against her mother this whole time. She felt the breeze on her face and decided that she would stay there forever. Saphira's threats were not for no reason thouhg. Unbeknownst to Selena, a feral tribe of Pnalties were hiding in the bushes, ready to strike. Around that time, Saphira was returning home with supper, but she returned to an empty cave. "Selena!" she cried, but no one answered. Racking her brains, Saphira realized that the most likely place Selena would be was at the top of the rock. She stealthily made her way up and saw not only her daughter, but a Pnalty creeping behind. Saphira pounced on Selena, rolling her donw the hill till they came to a stop at the cave. There is no need to go in detail, but Selena was punished. |

Moon-high patrols in Leaf-bare
Palespot was new to the relatively new to the clan, but things seemed to be going well. He glanced around the clans camp before leaning down to lap up some water. Cool snow crunched as the sound of pawsteps made their way closer to the tri-colored tom's position. Looking up the green-eyed tom blinked in surprise as he saw Cinderstorm padding towards him with purpose. The other tom hadn't been as welcoming as the rest when he joined a little over two moons ago. So having Cinderstorm approach him without a harsh or civil look either meant that something had changed, or the other tom had gotten better at hiding his dislike. "Hello Palespot," Cinderstorm started, swallowing roughly. "Dawnstream wanted us to go on a patrol, at moon-high." Blinking owlishly the tom nodded then mewed," Okay, should I bring Robinpaw?" A look flashed across the grey tom's face before he nodded, and turned to pad away only saying a "See you later." over his shoulder as a goodbye. Palespot blinked then turned his gaze to Splashsong, his mate who had been padding toward him from the other side of the stream. Smiling the pale calico nuzzled her mate after hopping across the stream. Later that night, Palespot stood in front of the snow-covered apprentice's den, sticking his front half in to rouse the young apprentice. "Come on Robinpaw, we got a patrol to get to." He whispered, giving her a shake with one paw. The apprenticed was quickly roused and the duo made their way over to the camp's entrance where Cinderstorm was waiting. The two toms nodding a silent greeting to each other, before starting to head out. Before leaving camp, Palespot turned to look over camp once more, a smile flickering across his jaws. Life was good. Notes: Robinpaw was originally mentored by Snowleap, but she fell pregnant and eventually had Ashkit. For some reason, Robinpaw wasn't given a new mentor until Palespot and Splashsong joined the clan.

The First Meeting/ First Gathering
Multiple sets of eyes pierced through the dense forest, the full moon shining brightly on the cats below. In front of Goldenstar were seven strangers, each carrying a scent she didn't recognize. The seven felines were hidden by the shadows of the moon and trees, so the blue-eyed feline could only make out the general shapes of the cats. That soon changed when Jackalpelt, a warrior of her clan stepped forward hissing angrily and fur on end. "Who goes there? Show yourselves you mangy curs!" The black-furred she-cat bit out tail lashing. Before the Goldenstar could act, one of the strangers stepped forward. Just able to keep a strangled gasp from escaping Goldenstar didn't allow her to surprise her to show, the stranger had no fur! Pale pink skin and bright blue eyes adorned the strange cat, who was obviously angry. "We're no mangy curs you unsophisticated mongrel!" A soft feminine voice hissed back, a voice which came from the blue-eyed stranger. Another voice cut in, "Hemlockeye, calm down, these cats obviously don't know good breeding when they see it." A cultured masculine voice spoke, as another furless cat stepped out of the shadows flanked by two others. The masculine voice belonged to a furless grey-hued tom-cat with green eyes. To his right was a Ginger and white tom, and two his left was a calico she-cat. The nameless tom glanced over Goldenstar's clan-mates before speaking once more. "My name is Asterstar, leader of Foxclan."

He was being watched
As Draco touched down on the clearing, he had the unrationable feeling that he was being watched, but he heard nothing, and saw nothing. He slowly, carefully, walked towards the door to the temple, when he realized that there was a hamster sitting in front of it!!! Suddenly, Draco realized, that this was no ordinary temple. Nay, this was the temple of the Hamsters. As quick as he could he flew away, hoping to never make that mistake again. |
