What is the store?

In the store we have a wide selection of items and pets available for purchase with Chicken Dollars (C$). Some of the items are free, so look carefully to find a bargain... :). You even can see what the items will look like on pets by dragging them onto the model pets that are on display.

What are Chicken Dollars (C$)?

Chicken Dollars are site credits which you can buy with real-world money. They let you pay for special pets, items and other services on our website.

How do I get C$?

You can top up your account by buying Chicken Dollars. You can pay for the C$ using your PayPal account (if you have one), or if you don't have a PayPal account you can just pay with a regular credit card like Visa or Mastercard. You should receive your C$ almost instantly.

If you have a PayPal account, you can use the "eCheck" feature to pay directly from your bank account instead of using a credit card, although just like a regular check the payment will take about 5 days to clear. You will receive your Chicken Dollars once the check has cleared.

Can I mail you a check/cash through the post?

It's illegal to send cash through the post in most countries, including New Zealand where we are based. We are unable to cash checks from international banks. So, sorry, we cannot accept money through the post. We only accept payments through PayPal.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Sorry, no. We don't offer refunds for either account top-ups or for purchases from the Chicken Smoothie shop.

Help, my topup didn't work!

Normally your C$ should appear on your account within five minutes of topping up. If it still doesn't appear after an hour, please email us at payments@chickensmoothie.com and we'll sort it out for you. Please note that if you paid by eCheck, the payment will take around 5 days to complete as we wait for your bank to make the transfer.

I'm finding myself spending too much in the store...

Playing Chicken Smoothie is fun, but sometimes you can find yourself getting a little too carried away. If you're worried that you are topping up too much in the store, we can help. We can disable the topup page for your account for a while so that you can concentrate on other things... :).
