Rats seem to be unloved on CS, but not here! My cake is a brown and white rat inspired by some of the 08 Advent rats. I baked the cake in a pudding steamer, cut it to shape with a knife, then iced and decorated him. I made his nose bigger by icing over a marshmallow. If you count the spots on each side of his back, the flowers, and the green M&Ms at the front of the cake, you will notice that they are all three. Rats are subtle members of CS, so this Rat Cake is a subtle tribute to the 3rd Birthday of the website. He's also very tasty! He's a butter cake in case you were wondering, I just heaped the ingredients into the mixing bowl and the beater turned them into cake batter.
