...I want the shiny cheese!

*Cough* See, this is what happened:

You're walking through a yard, the grass is long and it tickles your belly as you walk over it, making you giggle and swat at it with annoyed hands. The small path you are walking on takes a tight turn to the left, but you continue along, twisting the grass in your fingers.

After walking for a while, you come across a border of trees, vines dangle thickly from the limbs, swinging in the breeze, as if beckoning you over. Out of curiosity you run to this border, looking around to see if you can find an opening through the trees. Unfortunately, there is no opening to be seen so you think of something else; wedging through. You are delighted by this idea and wedge your nose through two trees, clearly proud to come up with such a wonderful thought.

You sniff around at the other side, taking in the scent of pine and wild flowers. It seems like a wonderland on the other side and you just must get through to see what it looks like. As thoughts of meadows and rolling hills lined with trees cross your mind, you clearly have no idea what awaits you. You become excited and try to push your head through the trees as well, heaving and sighing. After about five minutes of pushing, a strange popping noise fills your ears and you fall forward, to be greeted by soft soil. Your eyes grow wide as you look around you, there are butterfly's dancing and flowers everywhere, a small magical path with a slight blue glow stands in front of you.

Something catches your eye further up the path and you quickly get up, wiping dirt off of yourself and letting your eyes trail up the strange path. A large creature is standing in the path, looking at you with a worried expression. Suddenly a lovely voice yells at you in your head, although fear is clear in the voice you close your eyes and listen to such a wonderful thing.

"You're far from your home strange one! One shouldn't love such a wonderful place!" It screams.

You are unsure how to respond, you're still deciding whether you're going crazy since you are after all, hearing voices in your head. You open your mouth for a second, getting ready to come back with something witty, but thinking against it. You bite your lip nervously, the voice continues in your head.

"With all wonderful things comes a price. You aren't meant to be here young one." The voice yells again, laughing with such a calm and soothing tone that you are slightly disturbed.

You begin playing with your fingers, but something hits you! You got it, it's the creature in the path talking to you! You look up at it with a big, goofy smile but only darkness says hello. You look up at the sky, a crescent moon and a few stars dot the sky. What do you do next...?

Why ever should Carolous be concerned with some silly night time spooky? Glaring suspiciously around, he turns back to the shiny thingy in the sky, it's bright, white, glowing so...beautifully. It has dark spaces in it...kind of like, no, could it really be?! Cheese!
