Goldie, my sweet little chicken.
Today my sister found her almost dead, with the stick the chickens use to roost, fallen on her neck.
She was bleeding terribly, and wasn't moving.
I wasn't there, I was at home, sick.
But when mom brought her home, when I saw her,
I started crying really hard.
Her sweet little face was all swollen and her beak looked so small
My poor bay was hurt and I was nearly dying, seeing her like that.
Mom sprayed silver spray on her wounds, the kind of spray you use to heal animal wounds.
My precious Goldie is still alive, and I pray she stays alive.
If she died, I would die too, I wouldn't be able to handle losing her.
On February 8th, the day after my birthday, I found my one chicken dead in the garage where she had been staying. 2 Weeks earlier, my darling Trumpet died. If Goldie dies, I will probably die as well.
I won't be able to take it.
