oof I haven't drawn deer in who knows how long. here's a sketch that I may or may not finish

decided to go off my own sketch rather than your redline, I hope that's okay ovo

wasn't sure of some anatomy details, it would be great if you could clear these up for me;
-I'm aware the males are much less fluffy than the females, but are they hairless, or are they short-haired?
-I didn't have much to go off of other than "deer," so I pretty much just drew a deer but it seems like you might thinking of a different head shape?
-did I draw the tail too long?
-any other anatomy details you notice with my lineart?
-does the species have a name?
I think there are some anatomy mistakes here, need to let it sit for a while and come back to it

I love this sketch and I really hope you finish!!

I'm going to answer the questions in the order you wrote them to save space <3

- The males have short hair, and they don't have the tuft of fur on their tails
- I don't really mind much regarding the head shape! As long as it flows with the design and the style of the artist it can definitely be changed from entry to entry. It just makes things a bit more fun ;^ I talk about it more in the 2nd to last bullet
- The tail is perfect! It looks great with the rest of the sketch
- The only thing I would change is possibly making the head a bit "rounder" near the snout? Deer have rather flat snouts from the side, but you don't need to change it if you don't want to! Most of this is all up to the artist
- The species currently does not have a name, but now that I have a decent amount of entries I'll be changing that soon
