if I can give a quick piece of critique?

-the bucket tool adds a white outline, so.. the drawing looks more unprofessional when its used, its good tho for filling large spaces and the going over and filling the white spots
-Layers! add one layer and make it your background, color your background on it. then add another layer, add your sun, clouds, and sky. add a third layer, draw the hills, this goes over the foreground but over the clouds and sun for a 3D looking effect. then your bird COLOR on layer 4, draw this AFTER layer 5, which is the birds OUTLINE. color the bird in with a plain color, click "lock alpha" and color on the bird color layer, this make it so you can color freely, and it auto-erases everything outside the lines.
-shading~ shade in natural places, do a bird study, go online and look up photos of birds, or take your own. even go online and search for a bird skeletal photo, find out where the joints are, the wingspan, talons too.
-Dodge tool~ this naturally highlights without the need to lighten your color, it does it for you as you color with it
