Recently, an old friend of mine lost her mom to stage 5 brain cancer. I had moved away earlier that year and wasn't able to come down and console her. Hopefully, this art will help her cheer up a teeny bit. I will not mention her username, because she currently doesn't want to talk to users (no offense) and wants to try and deal with this period herself. If you have any recommendations of your own to try and help her feel better, pm me, since you won't be able to tell her yourself. If you really are a sweetheart, and condolences on this thread would be a sight for sore eyes but you don't have to. Thank you for reading.

I can't even imagine, and won't try to pretend to know how they feel. I really hope things get better for them.

I don't have much experience with loss of loved ones, not even pets, but I just found this thread and wanted to say something. Now I'm not good at saying anything, because that's just how my life is (I'm very antisocial and shy), but I am so, so sorry that this happened and that I really hope things cheer up soon. I would say more but I seriously am bad at comforting people and saying nice things so I'm going to go before I say something stupid or useless. (More so than I already have anyway) Toaster is out.
