Whether with a permanent mate or not each Sima can only breed every four weeks in our time. A
litter consists of one to four babies, or kits as they are called. The kits are known to be both furrier
and have shorter tails than the adults but will eventually with time grow into the more standard
shape of a sima. The kits can look more like either of the parents or even a mix of both. A kit's
gender is also determined when it is born and thus isn't something to be decided by the future owner.
A kit with horns are usually born with shorter and stubbier horn that later on grow to take the shape
intended for the sima. Kits often feed on soft food, due to their small teeth but will however grow to
eat harder foods as they grow.
PPS Simas is a very rare trait that causes a kit to never grow up and thus will stay look looking
forever young.
Mutations

Simas are unique in that they have the ability to gain a randomly generated trait when applicable.
These traits will never be anything extreme but comes with a great verity from something small or
common to something bigger and rarer. However these mutations are only available if the artist
accepts mutations rolls. In rare cases when an item allows it, you may choose the trait or have a
mutation be set to happen within the litter, but it is normally randomly generated.
Multiple clutches
Simas are capable of having up to four kits at once. When a pair receives more than the two standard
kits, a cover page will be created for the couple. Anything more than two kits is rare, however, so
you should not expect to see this as often. There will never be a way to influence having anything
more than two kits.
Soulmate perk
The soulmate perk is special bonus for those sima couples that has been together for a longer time
and has gone through all of their breeding slots together as a couple and is essentially an addition
breeding on top of the five they have already had together
Genetics
How often a trait will be passed down by a sima is limited in the way that the rarer traits amongst
simas will never be passed down to a multitude of kits of said sima which as the traits suggest is
because of their rarity. Even when the kit has the potential to inherit the trait from both parents,
there's no guarantee that the kit will get said trait.

★ You may only ever acquire 6 kits from the nursery a month.
★ Only post when an artist states they are open for tickets.
★ You MUST own at least one of the Simas and get permission from the owner of the other.
★ If you have recently caught a ticket slot you may not post for the next round of tickets that get opened.
> You only need to wait for one round of tickets to go through before you may post again
> This applies no matter who the artist is that opens the slots
★ You cannot pick the genders unless the artist states otherwise.
★ You are allowed to request for a lower amount of kits then what can be rolled for.
> For example you may state that you would only like a single kit even if more would have been rolled for.
> This request has to be stated in the Other section of the nursery ticket as it is given to the artist of choice
★ You can't choose the designs or color.
★ Each and every sima has a limit of 6 breedings outside of the soulmate perk and specific items.
> You are however only allowed to use 2 items for an additional breeding on each individual sima
> The items for completely resetting a simas limit on breedings are not counted by this.
★ You must have owned a sima for 2 weeks before you may breed it.
> Proof of this will have to be given in some form
★ You must wait 4 weeks before you can breed your Sima again after their last one got posted.
> Which means you can't post the couple to be bred by another artist until 4 weeks after their last batch was posted.
★ A kit grows up after 3 weeks but must wait a total of 6 weeks before being able to breeding
★ If two Simas are biologically related and are to be breed, they are at least 5 generations apart from one another.
(This being something to come from how this wouldn't be anything to cause any problems in genetic in simas with the low percentage of shared genes)
> One of the simas has to be at least 5 generations away from the shared root
> It is okay if the other isn't as long as they aren't the shared root themself
★ Don't whine or complain if you don't like the kit or kits.
★ Even though the parents have a specific trait doesn't mean the kit will get that trait.
★ Do not spam this thread with off topic things or complaining.
★ PPS Simas are not allowed to breed without a special item.
★ All the main staff rules applies
★ The jewel and eye color are always the same unless the kit inherits the dual trait
★ Artists may grow a kit after 3 weeks even if the owner doesn't want them too, a kit must be PPS to not grow.
★ Batches of a single kit will be more common than those with twins and a full batch for four will be very rare
> 1-60 - Single | 61-90 - twins | 91-98 - triplets | 99-100 - quads
★Mind the rarities of specific traits and the genetics of simas when rolling for traits
> The chance for a trait being passed down doubles if both parents has the same trait
> At most 3 kits can gain each specific legendary edit that one sima has in all their potential breedings
> For a permanent couple where both simas has the same legendary edit they may pass it on to 6 kits in total
★ Out of a roll of 50 rolling 1-2 would make a PPS kit
★ If it comes forth that a kit you have made have been inbred then you should act accordingly
> If the parents don't meet the guidelines and it is not realized before the kit is made, they will have the IB mark added to their reference and the parents cannot breed with each other anymore.

> Only exception is if either of the simas have had a single batch of kits with another sima BEFORE the change of rules and new additions to the nursery. Proof of such must be given in that case
> If the couple falls under the exception they also have to wait 4 months after their last breeding together instead of the standard 4 weeks before using the soulmate perk breeding
