Dr. Disguise

It was 6:34 PM, and you were walking down the cobblestone road of a small town you were visiting for the weekend. Suddenly, a small creature walked up to you as you saw it crawl from an alleyway corner. It looked rather mismatched or deformed, like it was some sort of rogue taxidermy experiment where the taxidermist didn't know where they were going with this particular one. It looked up at you with its large eyes that didn't appear real (which made you start to really think it was a piece of taxidermy by now). "Hello," it whispered. Its voice was in between being male or female, which made your mind wander for a moment. But you'd better not question it right now. "My name is Dr. Disguise. You will never tell anyone you saw me, okay?"

Before you could even respond, the creature flew off.
Your mind was buzzing with questions about what in the world just happened, but thinking about it wouldn't do any good. You had a sinking feeling you would never meet the creature again in your life, so you continued walking like it was no big deal.
"What a strange fellow.." you sighed.
