This one is inspired a bit by the ~tribal markings~, as well as halloween, to an extent.

For some reason, this fellow's eyes are now yellow, but before, they were blue! Using the form below, try explaining your thoughts on how this piggle's eyes changed color! Prettying up is allowed, but not mandatory. This ends on the 23rd.

This name is used in Skulduggery Pleasant: Faceless Ones, however I feel this name suits this Piggle incredibly well.

How did their eyes change color?:
Batu's eyes changed colour because of a change in dimensions. He was 'shunted', so to speak; something went wrong, and he was blinded for two days. When he finally shunted back, he noticed he was not the same. Other Piggles looked at him oddly; like they recognised him ... but there was something different. And when he looked in a mirror, the eyes that stared back at him were not blue ... but yellow.

How did their eyes change color?: " Is she going to live? " I heard my mother's tender voice talk to somebody.
" She will be fine. Go Now! " A raspy voice replied.
" Okay, but i'll be back tomorrow to visit, ma'am. "
With this I heard the soft close of a door. I couldn't move, and my eyelids were swollen shut. Now I remember; I got a deathly illness and I was taken to the local shaaman. This was because my mom didn't hear what she wanted to from the doctors.
They said that I was going to die.
My sweet mother refused to believe them; Her sweet little Taura couldn't possibly die! I begged her not to go, just let me die in peace. But every time I saw her teary eyes, I just had to. For the past three days, i've been sitting in a wooden hut, my only company a cranky old witch. My condition's gotten worse, now I can't even stand, let alone sit up. I don't want to die in this filthy place all alone! But I can't retort, my throat can barely utter a groan.
" You'll be better soon. " The old shamaan said.
Can she read my mind? I wondered.
" Actually, I'd prefer converse through brain waves. " She replied in a matter-of-factly tone.
Oh, great. Now this sickness is spreading to my brain. I thought in annoyance.
" You should treat the woman who's about to save your life with more respect than that. "
On that remark, a loud clap was heard. Suddenly, a warm object was held to my lips. I reluctantly used all my strength to open my mouth and swallow it. Almost spitting it out, the concoction was easily the worst thing I had ever tasted. It was the consistency of spoiled milk, and tasted like feet with a hint of barf.
" Now rest. You're strength will return when you wake up. "
I frowned before drifting to sleep.

" Taura! " I heard my mom say my name, and I heard her sobs.
My eyes shot open, and a ran at her as fast as I could. I was cured and felt better for all I knew. Me and my mother embraced, but before long she let go and I saw the worry in her brows.
" Your... eyes...? "
" Sadly, that's one of the side affects. But her eyesight should be completely normal. " The shaaman replied assuringly.
" Taura, you can see for yourself if you like. " I took the mirror from the shaaman's withered hands, and looked at my reflection. My eyes had turned a brilliant yellow, though they were originally blue.
" It's okay, " I said. I jumped up and gave the old woman a hug. She was surprised at first, but soon joined in.
" Thank you, Vendetta. " My mother gave me a gentle smile, her fur blowing in the breeze. I looked at her, then back at Vendetta.
" Thank you for saving my life. I can never repay you. "
The old witch gave a smile, her cracked, yellow teeth seeming to illuminate my happiness.
" It's my pleasure, Taura. "
I walked out with my mother, the sun shining brightly through the clouds. I looked back to wave goodbye, but the house had disappeared. All that was left was a small box with a note in it.
