✿ PODs hatch from apples; although they grow in the ground, not in a tree. This is where their name comes from, Pomme meaning 'apple' in french.
✿ They sometimes do not grow to adult stage. When they are stuck in a stage, they are called NGUS (Never growing up syndrome).
✿ Pomme Deer are most commonly found in soft colors; bright ones are rare, because they are the easiest spotted, and hunters have many uses for these deer.
✿ 2 colored PODs are slightly rare, since they haven't developed their fur color fully.
✿ Pomme deer ALWAYS have 4 colors on their fur (Different shades of one color are accepted, as long as they are very similar), plus their eye color (may be more than one color).
✿ Their tails are very wide; they are about as wide as a human arm, from shoulder to the tip of the fingers.
✿ Their antennas start developing at teen stage.

Why I Chose That Name
I chose the name peaches because of her peachy colored fur. He light colored fur is very pretty and goes well with her. Peaches are also fuzzy and sweet. P.O.D.s are very fluffy and fuzzy. This girl is very sweet and always demands attention.

My username is Milk. . Pretty simple, right?

Behind the Name

What is this POD's name?
I would name this gorgeous girl Karamele, but just Kara for short.

What does Karamele mean?
The name Karamele means candy in Albanian.

Why did you choose this name?
I chose this name since her coloring reminds me of a
butterscotch candy and toffee, and her active nature
just seems to fit the simple name. I've also loved the
name for a while and she just had the perfect image to
match.

How old is she?
She is nineteen years old, meaning she is a mature teenager.

What general size is she?
She is around the size of a slender Terrier, but still a good height for her age.

What is Karamele's personality like?
Kara is very ambitious and courageous compared to most although her shy appearance seems to show another side of her. True, she can be timid when she is around unknown PODS or in a weird scenario. Although, when she has her mind set on something, it will take everything to keep her from getting what she wants. Determination is key for her, but she is also very observant when it comes to looking over a situation. She won't run head first into something without a plan since she knows what will happen when that occurs. A big, big mess. She can be a flirt around some males since she loves the attention, and her beautiful coat does pretty well at grabbing the attention she wants.

What is her favorite thing in the world?
Her favorite thing ever would have to be her stuffed carrot that she was given as a pup. Although everyone knew she had the carrot, not one of them knew she still had the carrot. Every night she will sleep with the carrot and won't even let her mother take it away.

What kinds of food is she interested in?
She adores strawberries and will eat them like they are going out of style sometimes if you give her enough. She will eat any berry given to her, unless it is deadly, of course. She also enjoys finding candy from the humans that were camping out earlier, and has been keeping her candy stash a secret from her peers and family.
