When she is looking for a new artist, Tess will invite someone whose art she has noticed and has the potential to be beneficial to the team. There usually isn't any form or application and you can not ask to be an artist.

You've put lots of time and effort into the site, and we should all thank you. Lots of you have missed out on real life things such as school and hanging out with your friends, just to be with us. When Tess decides the site needs more staff, she'll open applications. Anyone can apply, though only a few people end up being picked. With all the GH retirements, I wouldn't be surprised if GH apps open sometime in the next few months.

Anyone can apply to be a GH, but to be any type of mod you are are required to be 18+ except an Oekaki moderator which you have to be 16+.
