This girl here is my own "Experiment", Mossfire.
So please don't steal her, because she don't need more than one person to take care of her.

Just look what the guys from the Lab mixed together!
They said this came out by accident
as they explored an unknown life form.
But what to do with these guys now?
I took 'em home with me but I can't take care of all!
So would you help me and take one or two to your home?
Until I found a good name for them
let's call these pets "Lab. Experiments", okay?

~A few Facts about Lab. Experiments~
(still "wip")

• Lab. Experiments were created by accident in a secret Lab somewhere in the world.

• Genes from different animals were mixed together.

• Lab. Experiments are normally loner but are able to live in small goups.

• All but costum-made and Special ones have green eyes and purple/pink ears.

• Their claws are really sharp, so better watch out if you wanna play with 'em.

• Sad but true: They can't fly with their wings.

• They are not bigger than a large dog.

• No one knows how the winged Lab. Exp. communicate...

• The ones with Goat horns and -tee communicate in goat-noises.

• Oh, and if they quarrel over a female they'll ramming each other with their heads (+horns).

• The Experiments without horns are just fighting like cats.

• If you are a lucky one you can get an albino if you breed two Lab. Experiments.

~Rules~

• Do not claim the Line-Art and species as your own.
• Don't change or edit anything on/to your Experiment without permission.
• Please don't steal someone elses Lab. Experiment.
• Everything is free at the moment, but tips are always welcomed.
• You may not trade your Experiment for CS pets/items, if you don't want yours anymore send it back to me and I'll put it up for adoption, again.
• Please keep spam to a minimum. If you have any questions or something else feel free to ask/post them in our Lab. Exp. Chat or PM me!
• You can gift one of your Experiments (except a costum-made one) to an other user.
• If you want to use it on an other page please link back to this thread.
• There is no adoption limit for common and uncommon Experiments.
• You are allowed to own up to 5 rare Experiments.
• You can only order one Custom made Lab. Experiment. (can change later)
• Please use the form I made if you want to adopt/order an Experiment.
• You can only try to get one Experiment at the same time.
• When you've adopted an Experiment you have to wait one to two days until you can adopt another one. !New!
• It would be safer if you save the picture on your own, because I can't promise that deviantArt will not delete them.

~Sizes~

You can choose how large the image of your adoptable should be.
The normal size - how I draw them - is 440x301 pixels (except the uc-lines, they are 514x307 pixels), but you can get yours smaler if you like.
If you want a smaler size of your Experiment I'll upload them with tinypic again, the smaler sizes are 320x240 pixels and 160x120 pixels.
Just write it in the "Extra" part if you would like a smaler image!

How can I adopt a Lab. Experiment?

You can find Lab. Experiments which are currently up for adoption here.
Below you can find a form you just need to fill out and the Lab. Experiment is yours

Can I get a Lab. Experiment really for free?

Yup. I do not demand payment for those creatures.
Neither for official/event Adoptables nor for custom-made ones.

How many Lab. Experiments can I adopt at a time?
And how many in general?

You are allowed to adopt one Experiment at a time but altogether you can adopt as much Experiments as you wish!

What exactly do you mean with "you can adopt just one at a time"?

This means that you are just allowed to post one adoption for one of the Experiments which are currently up for adoption. If you want to adopt another one you have to wait at least two days.
This helps me to avoid the situation that one person adopts all the Experiments at once.

Can I put my Experiment into my signature and/or use it on an other website?

Yes, you can! However, you have to credit me somewhere or link to this thread.
Do not claim it as your own!

What is "Plasma"?
When will they come out and how can I get one?

Plasma is a tiny species we just discovered. I'll write a little information about it later here.
Plasma will be a special species you only can get once and just during some special events. They won't be freely up for adoption like the normal Experients, but you can win them in Raffles or other little "actions".

For artists

I want to become an artist! What should I do?

If you'd like to become an artist of Lab. Experiments you have to fill out the form you can find here and send it to me via PM.
When you've sent to me I'll PM you back~

Which art-programm should I use?
Which one do you use?

I draw all those Adoptables with Gimp, but that does not mean that you need Gimp, too.
Art-programms, where you can draw on different levels and not just on one, are the prefered ones. This makes it easier with the shade, the color-in, etc. "Paint" is one of those art-programms I'd not advise.

What am I supposed to do as an artist?
Can I do customs, too?

Since most of the customs need line-edits I'd prefer it to do them all by myself.
But that does not mean that artists "have no job"; artists would do normal (or even event) Adoptables. I'll send you the lines and you can color them in.
When you are finished with your Adoptable send it via PM to me and I'll put it up for adoption in this thread. Of course, I'll credit you as artist.
