IMPORTANT NOTE:
We are making the image changes now.
Due to the popularity of the newborn and foal stages, all existing zebras will be "re-born", and will grow up again this one time. So your zebra will temporarily become a foal again. But it will be an adult again in about a month, on the new lines. Your zebra's age (in number of days) and birthdate won't be affected by this.
About the Christmas Zebras:
Although all Christmas zebras now look the same as newborns, they will soon grow back into their regular version. They will not have any chance of changing outcome, so you still have the same outcome that you always did. So if you had the one with large red/green striped patches, it'll grow up with large red/green striped patches, and if you had the one with alternating single green and red stripes, it'll still be that when it grows.
Hey everyone,
almost a year ago we discussed the fact that the zebra lines (along with all the other old horse/pony lines) would be updated. Almost all of the old horse and pony images have been replaced over the past 12 months, with just a couple of "litters" still being worked on. You can read the announcement here for more information about the change.
As we promised, the zebras will also be changed, and they will have their own special lineart
The new lines were all drawn by Yulynh and the adult lines were modified by Sorren Fey. They were all colored by Sorren Fey. We are now showing you what the new lines look like.
After a few weeks we will make these changes permanent, affecting all the zebras on the site. (Now permanent!)
We promised that we would do this; so here is your pre-warning, so that people may make trade decisions early or take a gamble on whether the new lines will be more or less popular than the old. so far all of our changes have been at least mildly controversial with some people preferring the old and some people preferring the new versions. So it's difficult to predict how their trade value will be affected. Note that the rarity will not be affected (yet), however with new lines we may consider releasing them as super rare outcomes in horse litters again the way we used to in the past. We hope that zebra owners will be happy with the new zebra lines!
The new lines will be shown in the posts following this one read on!
