The March blue rats could be called the Van Gogh litter, and Sky VG, Starry Night VG, and Ocean VG respectively.
The February patterned rats could be called the Track litter, and Blue Tracks, Yellow Tire Tracks, Pink Tiger Track, and Green Thorn Tracks. Also, the grayish brown rats could be called the Dusty litter, pebble, and rock respectively.

I will add the 'Dusty Litter' to the suggestions, though I don't think pebble and rock are easy to differ on them since the dots are the same and there are both in both colors.
I won't add 'Tack Litter' and 'Van Gogh Litter' though. I can't really find a resemblance to Van Gogh on the blue rats and the only one of the february litter that looks like it has a track on it would be the yellow/blue one.


I'm thinking of naming the 'Water Litter' with these individual names:

River Rat ___________________ Lake Rat ________________ Ocean Rat

I'm basing this on the 'deepness' of the blue and the way the 'waves' look in these designs.

I'd distinguish between the water rats by their main color--so light blue, bright blue, and gray-blue xD
Or maybe dark-footed, bright-footed, and light-footed? The dark-footed one also has a spotted tail ^_^

the Kangaroo rat arent based on Kangaroos... they are based on desert rats or Gerbil... Kangaroos don't have hair on ends of their tails, gerbil does ... i cant find correct specie of each color but im 100% sure that they are Gerbils not Kangaroos....

But the first pic isn't gerbil either, it's a jerboa. Gerbil does have hair on their legs and tail, but not fluffly tail tips.
Still I agree that they shouldn't be call kangaroo rat, but it seems that's what most people call it (for some reason )

^^ I agree with the litter name for the blue march 2012 rats (Water Litter), but I thought a good name for the middle (ocean) rat would be the "Whirlpool Rat"
