Nala
► Age
We adopted Nala on May 5th 2004. My family and I believe she should be about 8 years-old right now. The people at the animal shelter we adopted her from predict she was about 9 months-old when he adopted her, which would be about August as her date of birth. So we put her birthday as August 10th, right between my parent's birthdays.
► Breed
Nala is a Labrador Retriever mixed with some sort of either shepherd or terrier because of her adorable ears.
► Temperament
She is very timid, but she will bark and people who come near our house. She's a total sweetheart and is (for the most part) a very good listener. She loves kids, but she has a problem around strange men. We think men abused her with some sort of weapon, because our poor baby flinches whenever we pick up something like a TV remote or a rolled up newspaper around her and tries to slink away.
► Other
Nala seems to have an issue with rubber toys. She never liked them, even when she was a puppy. She prefers the soft toys with the squeakers in them. She loves chewing them open to get at the little plastic noise maker inside. She's terrified of thunder storms, and her favorite dog food brand is Moist and Meaty. Nala hates baths, getting her nail's trimmed and getting her mouth sprayed with Plague Attack.
