Pet's name: Changing his name. It is now Acaris
Why you want this pet- My goodness. Why would I not want this pet? He is beautiful, he looks kinda lost though
That makes me sad. I really want to help him find his way! I have a lot of friends for him, even if he would rather be alone, I think some friends would be good for him :3
What are you going to do with the pet?- He is going in my sig, and is a runner up for my other fursona. He reminds me of the real me. Kinda lost, kinda lonely, but always there when you need him.
Art(opt.)- I...can't do art unless I request it, or spend an hour editing an editable oekaki, something I can't do right now thanks to my lack of mouse.....
Story(opt.)- (In this story, I use the words Mecha and Mech interchangeably) Acaris licked his lips as he worked, hunched over his workbench in a position he often adopted while he worked. He had been told by his master to finish the Mech's left shoulder by the next morning, or he wouldn't be fed for three days. Since he was already emaciated enough, Acaris chose the lesser of two evils, staying up all night.
An Alchamech wasn't easy to come by, so when Acaris' master had found the young pup on the slave market, he had been quickly snatched up to make Master Taar the perfect, winning Mecha for this years Mech-Comp. Master Taar had always loved the sight of large Mechas fighting, and had long dreamed of an Alcamech to work and fight a Mech that he owned. Acaris couldn't really complain, being an Alchamech, creating a Mech to bond to was a key part of their life. Even if it meant slavery, at least Acaris could continue with his people's lifestyle of building, repair, and fighting gigantic robots.
Acaris turned off the welder and rolled his shoulders, before removing his mask and bending his back. Wearily, he turned and looked at the clock that blinked the numbers 2:25 a.m. in red. Running his paw through his hair, Acaris shook himself a little and took a sip of his coffee that Marina had brought him an hour earlier. She had put it in a thermos, so the is was still warm. Shivering from the bitter flavor, Acaris decided that, since he would be pulling an all-nighter to finish up the shoulder, he would at least go and admire his handiwork thus far to inspire him. He had already finished the head, most of the chest piece, and had also started the left foot.
Acaris entered the large extension of the garage he was working in. How exactly someone was able to afford such a large garage was still above him, but Taar had spared no expense in the formation of his prize mech and, in return, his slave Alchamech. The garage was over five stories high, and had three levels to it. By the end of the Mecha's construction, it would be able to stand upright, a luxury most Alchamechs weren't able to afford.
With a curios, limping gate that had been apart of his walk since his puphood, Acaris walked over to the chest piece that he had finished the month before. It was fifteen feet high, and 13 feet long at its widest point. Most of the chest piece's metal parts were hidden under a beautiful titanium exterior, but parts of said chest piece had extra protection in the form of black-dyed titanium/tungsten alloy that protected the mech from powerful blows.
To the far left of the chest piece, near the area where the shoulder would connect, The Taar family crest was emblazoned onto the black, with the words God Victor Mark V: Chronal next to it."That's my Mecha,"
Acaris thought as he pressed his hand against the silver, plated lower abdomen section. He could feel the magical energy running through it's copper veins, and seemed to recognize it's master and maker. Acaris couldn't help but feel a small sense of maternal pride as he backed up slowly to look at the other parts of his beautiful master piece.
"You have done well, thus far, Acaris," The deep, reverberating voice of Taar was not hard to mistake, and Acaris turned around to bow to his master, suddenly fearing the shock collar around his neck. The bow was so low, it wasn't even possible to make out the shoes Taar was wearing.
"Thank you Master, but without you, this wouldn't have been possible," Acaris said. His voice was far higher than Taar's and far softer. The vocal mark of slave. Submission.
"Why have you stopped your work?" Taar asked cooly, putting his hand on Acaris' back as a sign to rise.
"Forgive me, Master, I sought inspiration," Acaris said, turning his gaze from his master's strong features to the beautiful Mech body before them.
"Ah, and the exact style in which I linked the plates together. It's a bit challenging, but I think I have it now," Acaris said hurriedly. It wasn't really a lie, but it wasn't really the truth either.
Taar walked forward and touched the Mecha with his pale, long-fingered hands. Acaris could feel his blood boil at the thought that Taar was touching his
Mech. It was his child he was defiling!
Taar cut him off, "I know you don't like me touching what is yours, Acaris. I respect that, but remember, I cannot harm you Mech. The others, however, can."
With those dark words, Taar disappeared, leaving Acaris to ponder those words. While they were meant to comfort him, Acaris also sensed something else in them.
Slowly, Acaris tore himself away from the beauty of his already made body parts, and returned to the shoulder.
The next morning, Marina, Taar's head maid, walked in to the garage, Master Taar close at her heals, "Where is he?!" Taar thundered, "He should be done by now!"
Marina turned a corner to reach the main garage, and Acaris' workbench and froze, causing Taar to run into her, "Mastah!" She whispered, "Look!"
Taar brushed himself off and looked over Marina's shoulder. Acaris was asleep on his workbench, next to him, both the left and
the right shoulder pieces were done. Under the sleeping figure was the skeleton of the arm.
Taar smirked, "Get Chalice to carry Acaris to bed. He's worked hard enough for one night."
