[The True Werewolf]

A small sound of paws echoed around the room and a small black cat darted out to Forest. Its eyes were bright purple like Jasper's.
" Mrroew!" it said to her.
Forest jumped at first when the black cat came out at her, however, after her heart soon slowed down to it's normal speed she said "Oh, hey there Jay."
Jay was surprised Forest had recognized her because she never had came out much around Forest.
She meowed again then rushed over to Jasper who had finally pased out.
Forest turned her attention to Jasper, walking over to him she said "I'm sorry for attacking you Jasper, please wake up."
The small black cat nudged her master's head and meowed.
"Meowww!" She yowled.
Jasper's eyes flickered open a little bit and he moaned in pain but didn't move much after that.
Forest's cold black nose was near Jasper, sniffing him for any other injuries, when she detected his injuries she began to lick them to heal them.
Jasper gasped when she reached the gashes where his wings had been taken off.
"Ow Forest.." He said even though his voice was barely a whisper.
The small black cat races over to him and nuzzled his blood stained face.
"I thought you never would have showed up Jay.." Jasper says.
"Deal with it Jasper, if it hurts that means it's working," Forest said, finishing up with the grooming of the wounds.
After Forest had finished, Jasper was able to sit up a little but still felt light headed.
"What did they do to you?" He asked her.
"You went mad Forest."
"What do you mean?" Forest asked confused. "What happened? I don't remember much."
Jasper took Jay in one of his arms and petted her soft black fur.
"I don't remember much either but I know they shot you with something my father had created then you tried to um..eat me."
"Oh that." Forest was now rememebering and she said "I don't really know what they did to me, all I remember is waking up to a strange room with Matrix in it then I had a needle in my arm and everything went black after that."
"Speaking of going black, I think I might just black out here soon." His eyes were fiery red from his hunger so he didn't look at her directly.
"Hmm," Forest dragged Matrix's body over to Jasper and said "Will this help?"
He hissed at the scent of the evil wizards blood.
"Ug! Smells like he planed ahead and poisoned his blood if you ask me.."
"Well forgive me for not knowing, I can't smell blood that is poisoned, he must have masked it up somehow so I wouldn't be able to detect it." Forest thought for a bit more then she said "Let's head back and we will find you something to eat." She exposed her back to him and said "Climb on, it's faster this way."
Jasper slid on her back and held on not so tightly so Forest could still breath as they took off to town..It wasn't a short trip but after finding there way out of the underworld getting back to Bathory was a breeze.
Forest headed straight for the woods, the trees were zipping on by beside them so it looked like they were traveling through a time warp zone as she tracked down some prey.
Jasper squeezed his eyes shut and resisted the urge to sink his teeth into Forest as his fingers tightend their grip on her fur for support.
Forest soon spotted a deer herd and taking a giant leap over a log she landed on the nearest one, snapping it's neck and sending the others fleeing in all directions.
Jasper slid off her back and got to his feet.
"You can have the meat after I drink, how's that sound?"
"No, once the blood is gone the meat is dry and tasteless, I'll just go out hunting again," Forest said, stepping back from the deer.
Jasper walked forward and sat near the deer and leaned over its neck . He sank his fangs in deep almost ripping though its throat.
Forest wrinkled her nose but left him for a bit to hunt once more.
When Jasper got his fill he slumped tiredly against the deer's lifeless body. He noticed that his fangs had shrank back these past few days to but not by much.
Forest brought back a rabbit that she gulped down quickly and she said "Want to climb on? I can get us home and you can rest."
"Yeah sure maybe then I can get some sleep." He wiped the drying blood from his face and went over to her .
The chorus of two wolf howls echoed through the trees to them as they scented their kills.
Forest's ears perked at the two howls, a howl leaped to her throat to answer them and she let it out.
A light grey wolf stalked though the tree's, his mate heavy with his kids padded at his side.
"Now as I planned you stay quiet and when the time is right we take out the alpha." He says to the white gray she-wolf behind him.
" But Ryder-"
" No! I said be quiet Payton! I don't wanna hear it from you!" He turned back around and headed to the howl even though it'd take them till sun high to get there.
Jasper looked into the woods wishing he could fly up and see where the other wolves were but stayed there knowing he probably would never fly again.Forest waited for them, her body straight and stiff with her ears upright and her eyes starring straight into the woods.
Ryder howled back telling the other wolf not to wait and that they would find them soon. Jasper looked back at Forest.
"What are they saying?"
"To not wait, let's head back, they will find us soon." Forest walked between Jasper's legs so that he was on her back before saying "Hang on tight cowboy." She then bounded home.
Jasper held tightly to her fur and this time he raised his head a little and looked around the woods flying past them.
Forest began to slow to a trot as she neared the house, when they were fully there she stopped and waited for Jasper to climb off.
Once he was off of her he saw two wolves race from the bushed and skid to a halt . He also notice that one of them was carrying pups or kids..well what even werewolf call it when there pregnant.
Forest faced them head on and she said "Greeting, welcome to my territory, I am Forest, alpha of this land."
"Hello, my name is Ryder and this is my mate Payton. We've broken away from our pack to find someone else, our hunting grounds were very poor. Would you take us in Forest?" Ryder asked, his tone unwavering not giving anything away.
Forest looked at him suspiciously but she said "Yes."
"Then-" Payton began but when she caught a swift glare from Ryder she went quiet.
"We'll stay outside for now, we're never inside too long" he says to Forest.
Payton walked behind him to the edge of the woods and stumbled tiredly with the weight of her pups.
Jasper looked after them worriedly.
" Should she be coming inside?' He asked Forest.
"Yes she should, she should not be out here, let her come in," Forest said, looking straight into Ryder's eyes, she gave him a look that dared him to challange her.
When Payton walked back over to them she turned human. She smiled at Forest.
"Thanks," she says softly, her ash colored blonde hair falling in front of her eyes.
Jasper led her inside before Ryder could protest and left the two alone outside.
Forest watched them go for a bit before turning to Ryder and she said "You can come in to, but start anything and I will kill you if I have to." She then followed them in as well, changing into a human when she reached the door.
Payton was lying on the couch with her eyes closed, her pale skinned was was a little red.
"She has a fever" Jasper says to Forest as she comes in.
A small washcloth was rested on her forhead.
Forest came over and bent down next to her, taking a quick look at her she said "I think I might have something to help," with that said she went into the kitchen and started rumaging through the cabinets, when she came out she had a bottle of medecine for a fever. Measuring out the correct perportion she gave it to Payton.
Jasper noticed that Ryder had came in and was also human..he looked like a punk.. with his skinny jeans and black leather jacket.
Ryder fixed his dark eyes on him and grinned.
Jasper looked away feeling uneasy around him.
"There, that should do it," Forest said standing up, capping the medecine bottle she went to put it away.
Jasper sighed and sat back against the couch pulling away almost insistently when his back toughed the couch.
Payton felt good enough to sit up now and ran her skinny hand over her swollen stomach.
"How many?" Jasper asked her.
"Two," It was Ryder who answered him.
When Forest came back out she plopped down next to Payton and she said "You must be a lucky girl then, what will you name them if they are a girl and boy?"
"Well I'm sure for Whisper for a boy..and if its a girl, Hailey.." Payton replies, her light green eyes sparked with happiness as she felt on of them kick her.
Forest smiled at her and she said "Those are wonderful names." She then leaned back and said in an almost dreamlike voice. "I've always wanted kids, but then again, I'm not sure I could handle them or know what to do like my parents did with me."
Jasper looked over to her.
"Well, cant have them now ..I'm frozen at this age till this vampire thingy wears off it it even does."
Forest looked at him shocked and she said "I never said now, and who knows right? Like my mother used to always love to say 'you never know what life will bring your way'"
"Yeah your right..Besides, I don't think I'd be a good father yet anyways." Jasper never had said it to Forest but the thought of having kids now kinda scared him.
What if Lucius would come after them like he had to him and Forest?
Forest smirked and she changed the subjext "So, Payton is it? When do you think you will have them?"
"In a few days or so.." She sighed sadly.
"But it'll be wierd not having them in me anymore," She smirked.
Ryder rolled his eyes as he looked out one of the windows.
Forest giggled and she said "What was it like when you first found out about them?"
"Truthfully it was terrifying." Payton's voice cracks a little.
"Really?" Forest asked. "Why?"
"Because I knew they'd be killed once they were born..." She whisper so that Ryder couldn't hear her.
Forest whispered back as well "What do you mean by that?"
"Ryder..he doesn't want them.." A small tear slid down her face.
"Oh, I see now." Forest looked down for a bit then took Payton in a hug and said in her ear "When the time comes, I will help you fight for them if you want me to."
"He doesn't even love me..But he just took me with him and did this to me before he left our pack as alpha..."
When Jasper heard Payton say that, now he knew why he was afraid of Ryder..because he was a alpha like Forest!
Forest just petted her head and she said "Don't worry Payton, I promise you I won't let anything happen to them if I can help it."
Payton relaxed in as Forest petted her head, likeing it because she was never human for this long.
Forest smiled and she said "Now, let's get you a proper bed and get you some rest shall we?"

Payton thanked her again grateful for her hospitality.
Ryder had a bad feeling about what Payton had told those other kids and made sure he and her would leave first thing in the morning
Forest came out and looked Ryder in the eye and she said sternly "Wake her up and so help me I will skin you alive and use you as a throw rug."
Ryder didn't even flinch at her words but cracked a slight smile
" Oh it would be my pleasure.." he said to himself
Forest's blue eyes flashed with anger and she said "Watch it boy, you're in my territory."
Ryder rolled his eyes and looked away . Then heard heard a small cry of pain come from payton's room.
Forest to heard and headed into the room
Payton lay on the bed in her wolf form since it caused her lass pain and whimpered as pain riped though her stomach
Forest knelt over her and she said "Payton? Are you all right?"
"NO! " She yelled his voice was full of fear
' There hear! there hear! get them out get them out!" She repeated
"Oh crap." Forest looked around quickly and she said "I don't know what to do though! Jasper!"
Jasper mutters something like
" Oh Why me.." Then dashed off to the room.
" Forest get something to wrap the newborns in and to stop the bleeding..Payton..Well you can just breath for rigth now" Jasper knelt beside her ansd traoked hsi muzzle helping her relax
Forest immedetly leaves the room and comes back with two towels.
Jasper soon began to smell blood and as fast as payton could go he helped her give birth. After about ten minutes two little wolves lay by her> One white like snow adn the other black like nigth with one white ear.Jasper sighed and pushed his hair back from his eyes.
" Done..at last.."
Forest looked at them awkwardly and said "I never saw that before and from what I saw it looks extremely painfully"
Payton let out a long breath she had been holding in and then licked her two pups clean
"eww," Was all Forest could say.
Jasper had noticed payton's breathing was odd
" Payton are you ok?" Jasper asked her
Payton lays her head back and whined slightly like she was still in pain.
The small black boy pup with one white ear was already on his paws and itching to run
Forest sniffed the air and said "I smell death on her."
The little female white pup whinned and nosed around for milk, soon finding it and latching on to get what little milk she could
The little black pup had slid past forest and jasper's attention and slid out the door into the big house
Ryder was waiting and scooped him up clashing his hand over it's mouth before he could let out a startled gasp
Payton looked down at her pup but couldn't stay in her wolf form any longer and changed human. Her hair was dulled and less shinny now..and her eyes were closing just as she saw the shadow of Ryder disappearing with the pup
" Whisper.." her voice said weakly calling for her other child
Forest looked around and picked up on his scent, going outside she seen Ryder and snarled and she said "Put him down now."
The little black pup squirmed in his grasp . Ryder held a thin metal object close to his son's throat
" Try to stop me alpha"
"With pleasure." With lightning fast speed she had Ryder by the throat
Ryder was surprised by her strength at first he threw down the pup and pushed her back with the full force he had sending her crashing into the side of the house.
Forest was now in her wolf form as she dashed once more at Ryder, sinking her teeth into his leg and dragging him down, she felt his bone break with the force of her jaws
Ryder gritted his teeth in pain and lashed out at her hitting her in the head then he realized he was done for since he could only turn wolf on the full moon and struggled in her grasp
Forest shook off the blow and leaped once more on his neck, bitting down she snapped it
Ryder had his gaze on her for a few seconds after that pure hatred radiated in them. then they rolledback and he went limp in her grasp
" Forest!.." Jasper yelled from the house
Forest took her fangs out, her muzzled had blood on it but she picked up Whisper gently in her jaws and carried him back.
The pup let out a confused sigh and whined as forest carried him back.
Forest sat Whisper on the bed next to Payton and Haily and she said "Yes?" the blood was still plain on her white muzzle
" She's gone forest i couldn't do anything for her.." Jasper said sadly
He looked over Payton to the pups then back at her
Forest looked at Payton and she said "Now what will we do?" Haily began whinning with hunger and protest at how still her mother was.
Jasper shrugged but stayed silent as he looked at the pups
"Keep them with us..Let them go i dont know."
Forest looked at them and felt a strange urge rise in her and she said "No, we'll keep them and raise them, they need someone now."
The boy pup raised his head his ears twitched as he yawned
"I just hope I know what I'm doing." Forest mostly said this to herself.
" me to..i dont think i'm ready yet though" he got up and took payton's mall body in his arms
" Take her to a cemetery or what?"
"No, burry her in the back." Forest said, nuzzeling the young pups.
Whisper yawns and lays against forest.
Jasper took Payton out back then started to dig a little ways from the house but not off the property
Forest was unsure what to do when the pups laid next to her, she was actually starting to freak but forced herself to relax, after all, it wasn't like she was in on this by herself.
Jasper came in A few minutes later his face slightly streaked with dirt
" What now.?." He says
Forest shook her head and said "Nothing."
" Good it looks like your gonna have a panic attack from them laying on you.." he says back to her
His eyes twinkled with amusement as he watched them.
" I wounder what they'll be like when there human"
"Let's hope as cute as they are now." Forest said
Jasper sat on floor near her and petted the smallest pups head.
" yeah..But i wouldn't really care if they weren't..Maybe if they were deformed i would.."
Forest smirked and she said "Ya, that would be worriesome wouldn't it."
Jasper noded in agreement then flet dead tired as the day setaled in on him
" Cant wait till i can fly again.." he says feeling the tips of short new feathers tickle his back.
"Fly again?" Forest asked confused. "I thought your wings were gone."
" Yes they are..for now but My father cant take them away.. since i was born like this..It'll take a few years but they'll be back."
"Wow." Forest said amazed. "I wish I could fly, it looks like fun."
" it is..But it's also very tiring..You just never see me tired of it because its my only way to be free"
"I bet I could never get tired from it, seeing the entire world up there, it must be spectacular." Forest was now looking off into outer space, dreaming of what it must be like to fly.
Jasper saw her staring and grinned
" Well once i get better i'll take you on a flight if you like'
"Really?!" Forest turned to him, her face beamed with joy.
" Of course i will..All you have to do is ask me " He saw whisper stir and open his eyes a little
