So this has been a possible change that I and some of the staff have discussed in the past and again more recently in changing. But rather than make the retroactive change straight out, we want to hear your thoughts and vote on the matter. This is concerning the Event Rare trait "Hooves". The hooves trait is among one of our least tried for traits since it's release. While some may like it, it seems as thought the general consensus doesn't particularly care for it. A lot of people have specifically expressed that they'd like the hooves trait better if it didn't affect the front paws. So with that thought in mind here is what we are proposing to do.

The staff and myself agree that while the trait is a cute trait, it is one that is less special than many of our other traits. With that in mind we're proposing that the Hooves be retired as an Event Rare and instead be changed to only affecting the back or hindpaws, as well as making them into roaming traits instead. This would make the trait more versatile and compatible with most any other event rare just like other roaming traits.

Q: What does retiring the Hooves as event rares do?

Retiring the hooves as event rares means that they won't be released during events as one of the main event rares. It means that they will no longer be breed-able as they are now; however, the Hooves in current existence will still be breed-able only their offspring will inherit it as a roaming trait for the bottom set only instead.

Q: What will the Hooves be compatible with as a roaming trait?

Well normal Event Rares are not compatible with other event rares or legendaries. So as a roaming trait, that all changes. Hooves would then be compatible with every event rare to current date minus possible the goop and doll. And it'll be compatible with the following legendaries as well: Wings, Color-change markings, Bat, Tri-tail, and The Great Antlers.

Q: What about other roaming traits?

The hooves will be incompatible with all the current roaming traits if it is retired as an event rare and redone as a roaming. However, I am considering making one exception to that if this is vote yes to. That would be because this was once an event rare but now a roaming, then it would be compatible with one roaming trait which would be the feathered paws trait. The reason for this in specific is that I feel these two traits paired together make a wonderful compatibility and so it would be the only exception.
