Finchpaw’s eyes watered up as he hugged his mom,”I promise...” He padded back to the group of cats, wiping his eyes a bit, scared of the future and what could come. He glanced at Icepaw, his eyes glossy and head lowered a bit. I love you... his mind swirled with feelings, but he bottled them up.
