Do you have any sort of downtown area near you? That's where I found mine. There was a Torchic nest there, and there are mudkips everywhere.

honestly my city hasn't had a nest ever since drowzee stopped spawning everywhere, which was during the first few months.

So, Ive been able to start catching pokemon in the 3rd gen.
Haven't seen Mudkip yet, and I've only got one Torchic- The fire starters are always the hardest to get in my area, it seems.

I might ask my friend if he wants to do a run in Raleigh. I'm dangerously low on PokeBalls, and so, so far from leveling yet.

What is the weather thing based on? Seems like it always shows something different than the weather app on my phone.

Gen3 is coming along slowly. Though I was pretty surprised by a couple pokemon I was able to get very early on. Strange that I havent seen a single zigzagoon, really thought they'd be one of the common ones.

i just got a smartphone, uh... about two weeks ago, so i'm very much in 'wandering in a year+ late to the party' mode. visited my first pokestop tonight and all!

i probably won't get very far because... well.... disabled, can't drive, can't walk very far, but hey! i might as well see what i can catch when being driven around on errands and to doctor's appointments ^0^; and what comes along in my neighborhood. i saw there might be some skitty which is very exciting!

And I downloaded one of those group chat apps for your area. The nearest person on the app was 5km away and didn't speak English.

Literally though. In my case it's more that people never seem to meet up when I'm actually able to get places by vehicles,
and there's always meetups when me and everyone else is busy. xD So frustrating. And it's literally just me and my friend, so two people raiding doesn't really get very far unless you're a higher level which we aren't. I'm still only level 27 since I took a break for like a year. Thinking of focusing on leveling for a bit and just hoping that I can maybe by some chance get a groudon if I get lucky enough to meet up with some people. I also keep finding eevee's but I can't tell you the last time I've gotten one that actually had a decent IV.
I don't know why my luck with them is so awful lately.

Having a higher level doesn't really seem to change much as far as raids go. Maybe a lvl 40 person could take on a level 3 raid just barely, but thats about it. I'm 31 and stuck doing the level 1 and 2 raids for a rare candy here and there
